Led by Suryakumar Yadav, the Men in Blue secured a commanding 61-run victory in the first game, highlighted by Sanju Samson’s century.

Tilak just does not know how to rotate strike. This is why he is not in the main squad.
Abhishek should not be in the squad if his shot selection is this bad. His pull shots are extremely risky.

Its a shame that Axar is not part of Indian squad for all formats. He is the best batsman in India for all conditions and very reliable performer. A genuine all rounder.

India would've won at least one Test had Axar played in place of Akashdeep or Siraj who were pretty useless the entire series on those vicious turners. Axar cleary does not have the backing from selectors.

The leg-spinner's exceptional figures of 5 for 17 in four overs made things difficult for the Proteas as they chased a modest target of 125 runs.

South Africa found themselves in trouble at 86 for 7, but a resilient, unbeaten 42-run partnership between Tristan Stubbs (47 off 41) and Gerald Coetzee (19 off 9) guided them to victory.

Earlier in the game, a strong performance from the South African bowlers, combining pace and spin, restricted India to 124 for 6. Hardik Pandya was India’s top scorer, remaining unbeaten on 39. Marco Jansen, Gerald Coetzee, Andile Simelane, Aiden Markram, and Nqabayomzi Peter each claimed a wicket after South African captain Markram won the toss and opted to bowl.

When you saw Bishnoi darting and troubling SA batsmen, Axar is the baap of darting. Avesh is a useless bowler. He will never be anything of value to the team. Avesh seems to have strong backing from BCCI. He is always on the fringes and sneaking into the team whenever one of the main pacers is rested or injured.

Laxman always sticks with safety first with out any thinking. He was playing bhuvi ,dhawan etc about to retire players against nz ( nov 22 ) instead of giving chances to youngsters knowing very well that no senior will play ever again
