What's new

South Africa (187/7) dominate India (111), secure massive 76-run win in T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8 clash

Good to see a lot of support here for SA. These supporters aren’t delusional atleast like the ones 2 weeks ago in that game vs Pakistan.

Abhishek Sharma looks under pressure

That’s what poultry farm startup does to you. :uak

Ntini wide of the crease … built for endurance.. could bowl and bowl spells after spells… had to do lot how he grew up running up the hill and down

Ntini was born to run

When I close my eyes and think of a runner, I don’t think of Usain Bolt but Makhaya Ntini

Tulla swinging batsman Abhishek gone, kept missing and throwing kitchen sink on all the offside deliveries

We will see so far he stuck to what worked for him making room and playing … now if he can stay in his crease or cover stumps and show his leg side game then he can be a proper batter

He is same as Shahid Afridi, Afridi had good start as a batsman, got some memorable innings. But eventually ended his career as a bowler not a batsman.

Blond slogging works in dead bilaterals where pitches are flat as pancake and teams dont make in depth game plans nor practice as much. In big tournaments slogging doesn’t work.

Abhishek will be out of the team soon, his bowling is rubbish so he can’t pull an Afridi and play as a bowler.

First time I have seen Abishek bat, he looked worse than Saim Ayub, swing and miss.

I’m Indian and this is the first time for me too- not a 20:20 fan.

He will need to settle quickly, but I’m hopeful he will.

But today was hit and miss, mostly miss.

And I only saw one gear.
