What's new

South Africa beat Sri Lanka by 206 runs in the first Test

When non Asians lose in Asia then it is all about the pitches and how they favour certain bowlers etc.

When Asians lose outside Asia it is about how Asians are incapable to bat/bowl well outside their home conditions.

Thats not true recently both nuz and eng has been humiliated by india in their den but i didn't hear any criticisum about those pitches, everyone knows india is been far superior in every department of the game and outclassed the opponet simply

But the kind of pitches that SA got this year was complete disgrace....those were too harsh on any visiting team by any standards

Did you watch Sky Sports analysis after the end of each match?

Every time they had to praise India's performance, they came up with the caveat "in these conditions". Played well "in these conditions", better team "in these conditions". You don't hear that when India or any Asian team get hammered in England/Australia.

To be fair, it is just the English though.

I saw the last 2 series of Pakistan and commentators from both NZ and Aus have been effusive in praise without any qualifiers. Ashwin "most valuable player in test cricket", Kohli "best bat in the world across all formats, no question".

I haven't but those pitches for eng were pretty good...As a team they played some woeful cricket and thats visible in the result....On other side nuz batting looks cluless in india they don't have the quality to survive their
