What's new

South Africa beat West Indies by 139 runs in the Tri-Nation series

Lmao wouldn't be surprised if Bravo slowed the game down with tuk tuk peformance

Lovely skill from Parnell. Pitching the ball up and cutting it a fair bit. The cutter two balls before was even better.

West Indies in trouble now, but they have to remain aggressive in order to stay in the game.

Samuels and Ramdin need to stay positive, this tuk-tuk is very detrimental to their chances.

West Indies need a miraculous performance now.

Pollard and Brathwaite should just go for it.

Ramdin and Darren Bravo should not be anywhere the limited overs side. Both are way too slow.

Darren should keep it to tests.

Ramdin is basically Adnan Akmal. Need a proper wicket keeper. Charles is a keeper, better to use him and then bring in a worthwhile lower order batsman in Ramdin's place.

Gayle and Simmons being sorely missed.

Something like:

1) Gayle
2) Charles +
3) Simmons
4) Samuels
5) Pollard
6) Bravo
7) Sammy
8) Holder*
9) Benn
10) Narine
11) Taylor

12) Brathwaite

That could be a dynamic side with great batting depth and good bowling options. If WICB let go off their egos and stop with player politics BS.

So WI exceed my expectations. I was looking for a scorecard like 100 odd for 6 after my sehri!

Very poor stuff from the West Indian lower order. 30 run partnership at a run rate barely over 3, therefore the required rate is now over 10.

Why the hell did we NOT select and promote Imran Tahir?

PCB still won't learn their lesson... if you don't select players on merit they'll look for alternate options, and rightly so.. no one wants to rot their entire life in the domestic scene of Pakistan.

Very happy for Tahir. Must've looked like a very risky decision at a time to ditch your own country and go into unknown territory to show off your craft, and it paid off dividends for him because now he is the best ODI spinner in the world.

Awaiting thread lamenting loss of Imran Tahir to Pakistan, as a broader indictment of selection follies with names of fawad alam and Sadaf Hussain thrown in for good measure.
