Pakistan is a team full of losers. It doesn’t matter whichever format, it doesn’t matter what tournament, it doesn’t matter what level it is, this team will always fail when it matters most. Pakistan cricketers are a bunch of losers. The sad thing is I will keep on supporting them, because I am an idiot.

Today there was only one loser in the XI and that was Malik. Pakistan could have easily been 215 if this loser was not in the playing XI.

ABD was out of this world.

Pakistan qualified because of India's boycott, Pakistan didn't really earn the right to play in the final and against a quality team and a legendary ABD, their auqaat got exposed full time.

Pakistan should've beaten India. Pakistan topped the group stage.

Pakistani cricketers bhi na rula dete hain apne fana ko 😉

Did not watch a single ball. Don't intend to watch highlights either. It is a farcical tournamen.t but the final result is hilarious. Scorecard reminds me of 1999 WC final.2003 World Cup Final

2003 World Cup Final ke bare mein kya khyaal hai?

Pakistan missed a trick by not playing a half fit Afridi. He has dismissed ABD 7 times in international cricket

I think the pacers were useless. Wahab Riaz (just the odd good spell) and Sohail Tanvir were mediocre even during their peak playing days.

Naa That match went on for 89 overs. 1999 match lasted a total of 59 overs lol poor crowd
It was pretty one-sided. You knew at the halfway mark that India was never going to chase down 359. Tendu failed as usual when it mattered

Tendulkar failed in 2003 final, but he played crucial innings in knocking out Australia in 1998 & 2000 ICC Knockout quarter finals.

Tendulkar made up for 2003 WC loss by scoring 117* & 91 in victories in 2007-08 CB Series finals as well as a half century in 2011 World Cup q/f ensuring Australia's knockout from that World Cup.

Feel bad for PAK fans. They're losing all tournaments anyway but to lose in that manner in a pensioner's league final with 2 massive chuckers playing is just 😂

Which batsman in the world has chased 300+ in a big final like CT or world cup? It's never happened in the history of cricket
.
Sachin has one of the best numbers in tournament finals

I like how you guys consider Sachin as God and expect him to.do which no other batsman has ever done in history. Even more than India, you guys had expectations from Sachin.

South Africa deserved champions. The only team that took this tournament seriously while some took it as a vacation spot and made drama for attention seeking and tried to ruin the tournament.

Malik is the biggest fraud I have seen. He has conned everyone since the late 90s into believing that he is some good player, when in reality, he is an awful player whose career at any level should have been over about 15 years ago.

But having said that, given how ABD played and the fact that we had losers like Imad and Wahab bowling, even 250 wouldn’t have been enough.

Still Sehwag was giving hope.
Even if Sachin had score quick 50-60, India would have ended up short. The match turned when Bucknor or Shepard didn't give out when Ponting was plumb lbw, score was 220-2. Ganguly also made a mistake by dropping Kumble in a big final.

Grapes are sour... Keep sticking to your boycott agenda, Raina g.... You would have done nothing.

LOL. India won just a single group stage game (the West Indies game). They lost all other games.

India probably would've gotten smashed had they played Pakistan.

India got smashed against South Africa, Australia, and England in group stage. :inti

PK will win, no one cares about this mickey mouse league but it'll be embarrassing for india to host a tournament, Invite Pakistan, boycott their own team from the tournament and have Pakistan win a league created by them :vk2
Genius 🥹did Pakistan won?

The “nephew” excuse is still better than the the legendary “the algorithm mistakenly registered an interaction”.

PCB issues 'blanket ban' on future participation in WCL

The PCB has issued a "blanket ban" from future participation in the World Championship of Legends (WCL), citing "biased" conduct by the tournament organisers. This comes after India Champions forfeited two games, including the semi-final, against Pakistan Champions due to strained political relations between the two countries.

"The cancellation was not based on cricketing merit but on appeasing a specific nationalistic narrative," the PCB said in a statement. "This sends an unacceptable message to the international sporting community.

"However, we cannot allow our players to be part of events where the spirit of the game is overshadowed by skewed politics that undermines the very essence of sportsmanship and the gentleman's game."

The WCL had issued an apology for "hurting sentiments" following India's withdrawal.

"The WCL's apology for 'hurting the sentiments', whilst being farcical, inadvertently acknowledges that the cancellation was not based on cricketing merit, but rather on succumbing to a specific nationalistic narrative," the statement further said. "This bias, masquerading as sensitivity, sends an unacceptable message to the international sporting community."

While reaffirming their commitment to global cricket and healthy rivalries, the board said they would not permit their players to participate in tournaments that "undermine the spirit of the game."
