I think as i have already highlighted that you have different agenda , I think you will stop that agenda , But you are still on.

Everyone know that after 15 years we are hosting test series , How you can say above. ooo yes may be for your agenda your eyes are closed.

Lets see how easily Eng, Aus, NZ beat pakistan when they tour Pakistan next. Apart from NZ touring on away series to Pak the other two teams has been smashed silly on previous tours.

Now its SA fault for poor match position yet no credit to pakistan.

If this was your beloved indian playing you would have been doin bhangra all day long.

Playing in the UAE benefited Pakistan. We wouldn’t have become the number 1 side in 2016 had we played in Pakistan.

Touring sides are more comfortable on Pakistani pitches because it has more purchase for fast bowlers and it is easier to time the ball.

What credit? South Africa gifted the wickets. Our bowling was pretty average.

England and Australia will do very well in Pakistan. They struggled in UAE but Pakistani pitches suit them more.

Actually the pitch was at its easiest when SA batted first. It was a lot harder when Pakistan batted and its still hard to bat on I think. SA pretty squandered the toss advantage they had.
 
South Africa are doing the right thing. Frustrate the bowlers so they lose their discipline and are tired out before they accelerate later.

It could get ugly for Pakistani if de Kock gets going later.

And Pakistan did not throw some of their wickets. This always happens in most matches from both sides so cannot be used as an excuse.
 
Pitch has flattened out no doubt..we need to keep discipline and keep at it inshallah

He's been a Kallis-lite (batting wise, can't replace Kallis, ever) in a much needed time. His ODI stints have been worthy as well. Mamoon has a good eye, I remember discussing it with him when Rassie debuted.

Fully agree with this. He is a quality player. So assured at the crease. We would die to have a batsmen like him especially since he's so versatile and can play according to the situation in any format
 
Defensive and mentally weak approach by South Africa. They are clearly scared of losing wickets to spin which is why they have gone into their shells. All they are doing is playing into Pakistan's hands. The more the pitch deteriorates the more they will be in trouble.

This is the kind of strategy you employ on Day 5, not Day 3.

He is very good I was also impressed with him in the Pak series

Had the SA batsmen played simply played better they could have gotten 400 plus. Had pakistani bowlers bowled better in nz they could have gotten them for less than 400. I really dont understand you logic of constantly down playing 1 team but guarding the other even if both have common faults.

A batsman can still have a 5 year Test career at 32.

Oz got some good service from guys like Hussey & Rogers who debuted in their 30s.
 
Partnership 21(107). This is why I firmly believe test cricket is utter meaningless sport. There is nothing difficult about it, even tails can smash an unbeaten century easily. However, the elitist will never end, how difficult test cricket is.

What I don’t understand is Imran butt is clearly your best fielder so why is he not at slip ?

Test cricket offers a different challenge compared to white ball cricket.

There are batsmen who can smash a 40 ball hundred but they cannot forge a 20 run partnership in 100 balls.

Similarly, for someone like Pujara, Test cricket is easier than white ball cricket.

The truly great batsmen excel in all formats.

What is your opinion on guys like Janneman and Raynard? Wouldn't it be better to invest in youngsters like that? :inti

It would. I'd rather not discuss quotas and such :) I'll end off with this though. Kallis, the best all-rounder of the modern era, can't get a job here because of the colour of his skin:

You have to play by the rules and Rassie probably fills whatever gap their current setup requires.
 
Too much defensive will hurt Saffers.
Decrease the deficit first. Otherwise, it will be tough.

Pak spinners are doing well.

Australia could afford to do that because you still had a world class domestic system that would keep churning out players and even at your worst, it wasn't as bad as this SA side. Not the same for Saffers. They need to take a punt on these younger guys :inti
 
Pakistan is about an hour away from going into self-destruction mode. South Africa will be right back in it soon if they don’t do something dumb in the next 15 odd overs.
 
VDD is a sitting duck with that front foot prod against quality off spinners like Ash or Lyon.

I think Pakistan will win comfortably. A collapse is just round the corner.
 
There will be no collapse i am telling you..this pitch is dead!!!

The match will go in Day 5 and no idea how much we will be chasing and you all know when pressure is put what happens..we need pitch to deteriorate now
