Hurting? Why would it hurt? I am not playing out there.

Anyway, Maharaj is a great spinner. Muthu also looked impressive.

Bangladesh should be stripped of Test status. But then again, they did sweep the floor with a Pakistani side boasting allegedly great talents like Naseem, Shaheen, Babar and Rizwan . I suppose that's enough for the next 10 years

I was also very happy during Ind-NZ Test. As a matter of fact, I am still very happy about it.

May Kiwis make it 3-0.

Want to see NZ/South Africa vs Australia in the WTC final.

Just opened the scorecard and thought BD have done well having lost just 1 wicket after being down in first session.

Then noticed it's the second innings 😂

Proper humiliation for Bangladesh at home. So much for 'this is new Bangladesh'...LOL.

Great day for world cricket. Happy Diwali everyone.

Anyway, BD cricket team is currently in a bit of a transition phase (new administration, new players etc.). Hopefully things will improve.

South Africa move up WTC25 table after resounding series win

A 2-0 series whitewash has helped South Africa move to fourth in the ICC World Test Championship 2025 standings.

South Africa wrapped up the second match in just three days, securing a massive an innings and 273-run victory over hosts Bangladesh in Chattogram - their biggest ever by margin of runs in Tests.

Following their seven-wicket win in the first Test in Dhaka, the Proteas churned out an even more impressive performance with the bowlers turning up the heat after a dominating batting display.

Opting to bat first, South Africa put up an intimidating 575/6, declaring after Wiaan Mulder's maiden Test ton (105*). In the process, they also hit 17 sixes in their innings – a record for the African side.

Mulder, however, was not the only centurion, with opener Tony de Zorzi (177) and No.3 Tristan Stubbs (106) also slamming their first Test hundreds. With supporting knocks from David Bedingham (59) and Senuran Muthusamy (68*), the Proteas amassed a big total.

For Bangladesh, Taijul Islam was the only bowler of note, picking up five wickets but he too ended up being expensive as the batters showed no respite from scoring.

In reply, the hosts were on the back foot right from the start of their first innings losing Shadman Islam in the first over. Three more wickets fell by the end of Day 2 and four more perished in the first session on Day 3.

If not for the fighting knock of 82 from Mominul Haque, Bangladesh would have been bowled out for an even lower total.

The hosts limped to 159 and South Africa decided to enforce the follow-on. Newly No.1 in ICC Test Player Rankings for bowlers, Kagiso Rabada was the architect of South Africa's bowling dominance in the first innings - picking up yet another five-wicket haul.

Bangladesh did not fare better in the second innings either. This time it was the Protea spinners who took charge and started making early inroads.

Keshav Maharaj and Senuran Muthusamy took nine wickets between them, with Maharaj registering a five-wicket haul. Bangladesh folded for 143, 16 runs less than their first innings total.

What transition phase? 3 years back you got whitewashed by WI at home and another 3 years previously you could not beat Zimbabwe at home.

You can only use the transition excuse if you were half decent in the first place.

It is quite possible BD may remain minnows always. You don't need Sehwag to "predict" it.

BD is a terrible cricket team. We all know.
Sehwag predicted it 15 years ago and that triggered many Bangladeshi fans. Hope they have got the reality check and nobody else gets triggered next time especially looking at BD’s lack of improvement in all these years.

Yes. We know this. Why repeat it over and over? LOL.

When did I repeat? You linked this humiliation at home to the team being in transition. So I am just reminding you that this kind of performance for a team like Bangladesh is nothing new and nothing to do with team being in transition.

There are towellings ....and my team India got an epic one from the NewZees....and then there are towellings....what on earth happened today- 2.5 days and test is over?

‘Thalle’ means ‘below’ and rhymes with ‘balle,’ which is why I said ‘thalle thalle’ to describe Bangladesh’s performance. :kp :inti

I see.

"Thalle thalle" can be the name of a great lower body workout. Maybe I can try doing that next time BD lose.

Balle balle is a great workout. Fat Indians should try to do frequent balle balle.
