Anderson getting some movement off the pitch but not much swing.
Eng has watched Pakistan fielding masterclass

Holy ****, I just woke up and I saw this. What inane violence by Shah and Morgan. SA bowlers will have a hard time sleeping tonight.

The whole nation won't sleep if they got knocked out tonight, which is possible.

As I say that Gibbs hit on the up for four.

Watch it man, he was in ICC awards list :P

Harsha: As a bowler youd want the batsman to come out without a bat so you could bowl him out all the time

....Pathetic commentary

Theres way too much bbq smoke going across the ground...surely that should be stopped, its a cricket stadium not a picnic park. I dont like centurion for this reason...its just a bit too casual.

Welcome to South Africa. People go to cricket to enjoy themselves and have a braai (i.e. barbeque). :)

SA 84-2 after 16 overs - need 240 from 204 balls
This will be very interesting

if south africa loses then the last game between england and newzealand becomes interesting...srilanka could still qualify if eng beats nzland

Is it me of Bob Wilis is absolutely fixated with Shoaib Malik and Yousuf partnership yesterday as much as Harsha is with IPL.

Infact he is.

Goodbye SA, at least be happy that you won't have to buy plane tickets for home!!

this game is not over...wickets in hand is always more important than raising your run rate in these situations something that india and srilanka forgot in their matches

Unbelievable stuff from England. The first game was a shaky win built on the strength of key new ball wickets, and even from 17/4 we nearly failed to capitalise. I thought we would have to try and nick the New Zealand rubber to make the semis.

This however is brilliant, and completely unexpected. What you've witnessed is genuinely one of the best team batting performances I've seen by England in an ODI, and I've seen a few.

The RRR is hovering around 7 and if it gets to 8, we should really be fancying our chances. Defending 300 is pretty simple...between overs 15-40 just bowl the odd maiden and sneak the odd wicket, and the result takes cares of itself in the end.

Having said all that, do you know that England have made 4 times 300+ and they have lost all the games in which they have scored 300+?

SA have scored 300+ 34 times and won most of them ... sigh. Lol.

In 50 over matches, we've made 300 considerably more times than 4, and won at least a couple that I can remember - the 391 vs Bangladesh being a fine example.
