South Africa v Pakistan | 1st T20I | Johannesburg | 10 April 2021 | South Africa innings

Joburg is a high scoring venue for white ball cricket. Batsmen can trust the pace and bounce of the wicket.

The high altitude and lower air pressure also means the ball travels faster.

So par score expectations should be higher than normal.

Some cricketers, roles Pakistan have failed to replace...

-Abdul Razzaq’s late innings onslaught specialist

-A death bowler with pin point Yorkers like Umar Gul

-A proper wicket taking leg spinner, bowling flat in the middle overs like Shahid Afridi

Didn't he score an 80 odd at this same venue before leaving for the IPL?

Definitely a crucial player for SA but dont remember him doing much against Pak. Averages 37 in ODIs and in T20s played one decent knock of 48* in 4 matches.

Ideal situation for Babar. Good batting track, easy bowling opposition, besides shamsi maybe. Should open and win

Considering how things looked after the 10 overs, Pakistan will take this. Should be a fun chase.

That was some comeback in last 4-5 overs by Pak. A good surface this, batsmen need to stand up.

Pakistan has done well. I think this game is 60-40 to Pakistan

Forgettable outing for Afridi.

Will say it again... Pak TM will regret playing him in every game even if it's against Uganda.

Markram didn't have a T20 30 before this game. Look at how he played today. Past results/scores matter zilch when the player in question is top quality.

Since when did Pakistani fans get this confident. I agree though we should chase it. Lower middle order looks weak though
