This is the completely flat track...
Miller can't play pace tbh. It was demonstrated in that series against England and CT in 2017.
Wahab should play t20is he has been performing very well in t20 leagues.he can't surely do worse than shinwari and co.
oh here comes the wet ball excuse
He will have the second year blues. Hope you folks are around to give him breathing room then
Someone was asking what the hype is about Miller.
Hassan and shinwari have been mediocre in this match
He will always be threatening. He will definitely be given leeway..
Don't see us scoring 160+
We almost chased down 180+ last match! I can't understand so much negativity!
The biggest problem from our current generation players are they get worse over time where other teams' players they improve over time.
Really really hard to explain that. MMH, Mamoon, Pete, MRSN, Rana, AAli98 ..... can you please explain that.
I don’t have an objective measure to assess this on. This is more stereotype than reality. The first thing most fans must make peace with is that almost all players have second or third year blues. Those are the years that players discover if they are cut out for the international game. Because teams have footage of their playing style and make plans for it.The biggest problem from our current generation players are they get worse over time where other teams' players they improve over time.

No he won’t. A lot of the current players are second year, but hasn’t stopped wailing here
Mentality.
That's where it all begins in top sports.

Absolutely, it is a pajamaenjoy the game its about 4 and 6s. Pak will win I believe they will. Inshallah.
Yeah but shaheen's potential is immense. Most talented bowler ive seen from PAK in a decade. I frankly don't see the hype about blokes like Faheem and fakhar. They are decent but they won't end up as world beaters.
Mamoon it is.Like who did take away the skills from Hassan of taking the ball away from left handers? It is often an illusion. We play weak opposition a lot and our players make before getting found out by better teams.
Rain is getting heavier. I think its the end of SA innings
What does mentality mean to you
Like other Green team fans I have not been very happy with our bowling effort. However, does it warrant the absolute negativity from certain posters?
I am sure if this same team got SA all out for below 100; these same posters will come out (if they do) and say:
- It was a fluke
- SA team wasn’t full strength
- Pitch is most difficult and Pak batsmen will not be able to chase
- Crowd was favoring visiting team
My advice to such posters is to take a really good look in the mirror; there is a very good reason why you have not been able to achieve much in life and rely on cheap thrills in condemning Pak cricket team. By all means provide constructive feedback but don’t show yourself as a frustrated person.

I am reading what you wrote. Can you give me one tangible objective proof that these players don’t work hard in the netsSatisfied with less and not going for the maximum.
Guys like Babar will not maximize their fitness or spend hours in the nets to improve their technique. The hunger for runs isn't it there. He gets a lot of praise for his well made 50's and seems content with it.
Even if you are not that talented you can have an impact if you work hard on your deficiencies.

You never know who achieved what here.Sometimes you have to tell the reality which is our bowing has been below par in this tour.
Rain is gone, back to the action.
It has ended?

You've been following him around and keeping track of how much time he spends in the gym and the nets?

Hahahaha Sky rubbing some salt in some unhealed wounds again....)
I think his dismissals in the tests show enough. Not grinding it out and also getting out the same way quite a few times. Very talented and getting better, but in order to reach that next level he will have to work harder.
I am a big fan of Babar sher and hope he does reach better fitness levels and improve his batting technique.
It's more to do with domestic system, conditioning and competitiveness. Most PAK youngsters start with a bang, which is natural skill - then by couple of years their strengths and weaknesses are analyzed by International teams and better cricket brains ... this is more or less common in every sports. For PAK youngsters, to fix/develop their game to compete or improve at International level - they had to go to QeA style, then for technical coaching to Basit Alis. And, this game has a major factor of mental aspects (not education), and temperament, which you develop through hard fought games against similar or better skilled and mentally conditioned players - which can't be developed by bashing ZIM reserves regularly .... neither in a domestic system where National Captain plays from Quaid E Azam to Nazmabad night cricket.
I wrote it many times - in 1967 Majid & Asif went to England as a medium pacer who bats at 8, then landed at Glamargoan & Kent - ended as 2 batsmen of 1970s, and in 1971 Zaheer/Imran ended at Gloster & Worcester ...... Umar Akmal & Hammad Azam were unlucky because that window was closed by 2009, otherwise Umar's 123 or Hammad's U19 WC 2010 show was enough to land them in Counties 35 years back - some history would have been rewritten thereafter. Imran definitely wasn't as good as Hammad of 2010 in 1971 UK tour, while Zaheer also wasn't the batsman against a rampant Bond in 1970.....
Why our bowlers are bowling short btw?
By the time the World Cup comes around, I believe this forum will be left with whining teenagers, who want to drop the entire team after one or two games. This forum is like a flock of Bob Willis’
What is the acceptable % of short balls allowed
