Problem with mgmt is that players technique is not any criteria for selection, why? - it's painful to see national tea top 3 has not foot work at all and yet they are selected for ever...

If selectors and mgmt cannot understand technique, just select based on stats...Players with high 40s and 50+ avg in FC are playing FC year after year and guys with avg in 30s are selected in national team year after year...

True. In past pakistan has good technique players as main batsmen, that helped new batsmen how to develop their game...

Inzi learned from Maindad and Malik... Younas and Yousaf looked upto Onzi and Anwar...

Now Misbah does not have a technique himself, people look upto him are not going to go any where... It's like what a bowler is going to learn from Umer Gul, who himself does not know anything about fast bowling... It's a bad situation for Pakistan.. Now we are waiting for a miraculous player to come, the system is not designed to develop one...

No excuse, but he is coming with the added responsibility of increasing the run rate. He needs to prove his worth by doing so. I always root for him to do good for Pakistan's sake. He is one of the few batsmen we have who plays with a good strike rate.
