Being muscular is not just about looking like a buff, jacked up body-builder. Some people prefer the lean, muscular look.

He’s certainly worthy. But not established yet. Will take about 10 matches 20 innings or so against different attacks in varied conditions to really establish a player. In that time they get found out and then have to grind out innings. For instance Saud has only just established himself but a few silly performances like today will raise eyebrows. Its good to have 7-8 test class batters on the bench putting pressure on the playing 11.

lean muscular is what i am talking about too. i just dont see much. he is too slim.
need a bit of bulk. broad shoulders. not talking about being jacked. also a wide back.

if he can handle pace bounce and spin then you have a great player.

Yes and 15 silly performances from babar + a drop raises zero eyebrows? He's finished in test cricket. The sooner you accept it the better.

This is not a steve smith situation. Prime smith is literally the 2nd best test batter after vradman, dude was avg 70 to 86 uear by year. Even after a fprm slump, the gap between him and babar in test is clear.

babar in prime was never good in test. Was a bang avg batter in said format hemce his form slump doesn't need to fit in a resurgence price tag.

Not sure who said it but one of the comms said this wicket is like you pick up 1, and then you pick up 3-4 in no time. Looks like the next wicket would mean Pakistan will be all out

Being lean has nothing to do with with muscle size, it's just that you have less body fat percentage and look toned

from pakistan, shoaib was jacked in the past.

rapist looking corbin is pretty muscular.
even markram is pretty buff.
probably 85 to 90 kg

then there is tony de zorzi who is pretty lean and muscular too at 6'3

pakistan is much smaller overall by the looks of it.

pieter malan from SA is the most jacked cricketer though
and i would add rickleton is reasonably muscular too.
from current pakistan only ghulam and maybe ? no one else hey.

KG throws it away. He was looking a bit uncertain in last 20 minutes.

Good knock though in very challenging conditions.

Im fully aware brother. But with all due respect, what even is that point of engaging with such people?

All they do is insult 24/7 and provoke reactions non stop, Followed by the fact that they dissappear into the abyss for one of 2 months once reality sets in.

Kamran ghulam, Saud shakeel and Saim ayub are techinclaly solid batters who have grinded in fc and List A for years on end and had to earn their spots.

It's madness to assume that rizwan who got into cricket thanks to Misbah's nepotism connections, + Babar who has the akmal backing narrative as Umar akmal once did would be anywhere close to being top tier.

Only in Pakistan can a techincally limited batter with a weak backfoot against pace + Spin followed by a techincally crap wicketkeeper batter who has zero offside strokes be crowed as Pakistan's greatest and 2nd greatest test + Odi batters.
 
Basically these two (Kamran and Rizwan) have already pre-mediated to bat outside of the crease and meet Paterson on the length he hits. Schoolboy mentality.

All Verrayne has to do is to stand up to the wickets and that’s the end of science and chemistry going on in your mind.

Probably my low expectations of the test side but I was expecting 80-8 after being put in.

I have never once been wrong about Anyone. It can't happen and isn't logically possible.

A batter with zero offside strokes will never be anything more then medicore

tbh i dont mind how KG got out,
playing aggressive cricket means you will get out looking silly from time to time
i'd rater him play an innings like how he played compared to the same old boring tuk tuk cricket
