In BGT? Absolutely not. Australia bring their A game only in icc events + BGT + Ashes. Their fielding + batting + Bowling is usually next level.

Steve smith was a circus clown in test cricket since the last year but in BGT he came back into form eventually.

Aus vs pak test series vs Aus vs India bgt is a completly different aus team that's playing mentally + Fitness wise.

Pakistan stands no chance here.

I only backed him in odi which I still do. I just disagree with him being world class in odi as he's really just a latham or labu level odi batsmen which isn't a bad thing as Pakistan's cupboard is dry as is hence such batters are godsends for pk atm.

In test and t20 he was never that good and with his form slump it's more apprant.

Babar didn't regain any form in the sa odi series. His 50's seemed like 50's a 38 year old washed up cricketer would make and not a batter who is in his absolute prime.

The class between him and heck even rizwan in odi + Saim + Kamran was very apprant. All 3 performed better then he did.

I can’t speak for t20 mickey mouse cricket.

But in tests kg and BA both can be slotted and when newbies like SAIM AND Kg establish themselves (10 matches at least) then you consider the weak spots. You don’t just throw a whole load of newbies into test cricket it destabilises the team and they never progress like Bangladesh in the 1990’s One step at a time.
KG IS A GEM OF A PLAYER. No doubt about it. Let the line up just settle before getting rid of Babar.

Babar has definitely lost his game and confidence but you are/were wrong about Rizwan. He keeps churning up important innings in all forms of game, though he should be not playing T20 like Babar
 
damn look at the bounce variations. SA bowlers get substantially more height in terms of bounce compared to pakistan. surprisingly shami and bumrah were not far from rabada's and jansen's height accounting for the bounce attained.

so all pakistan bowlers need to hit the deck harder. its more difficult for shorter bowlers but if you are a skiddy pacer like marshall bumrah steyn etc then you can still be dangerous.

Domestic Performers who have played domestic cricket in Pakistan only need time to get used to the challenges of international cricket. The level is much higher, and the pressure is different, so you can’t expect them to shine right away. Judging someone based on how they look in one or two series just isn’t fair, they need a proper run to show what they can really do.

Yes but then what is Australia doing? They've been desperately searching for a Warner replacement and even though it's too early to tell, Maybe 19 year old sam konstas will be the one.

The kid is 19 and already has the gall to play unorthodox strokes vs Bumrah.

Teams like aus don't care about age. Their willing to replace the entire team with a bunch of 19 uear olds provided that their good enough.

However atm their still searching hence the 30+ year old team has to keep playing.

Pakistan and India don't do that. They value seniority and believe that cricket is similar to a desk job where experience counts whereas in cricket it's usually not the case.
 
That was pretty pathetic from Ghulam. No need to use this kind of language.

But he is playing some interetsing cricket here. Really drawing the ire of the Saffers and getting under their skin

Not naming anyone, but one person and their group pushed this narrative on the forum that KG struggles against pace, and a lot of people believed it. This is the same person who claimed Saim has no future in international cricket.
 
This is what happens when you have innocent cricketers bat with idiots. They become abusive. All rizwan's fault for promoting such a rubbish culture.

Mr 2999 also belived that irfan Khan niazi was > Saim ayub as well. But if I name anyone, they'll complain as usual.
 
if i have to tell me kids to learn how to bowl, i would only recommend watching rabada's bowling action.

Australia have a very settled batting unit in head, smith, marnus and khwaja. Their approach is not so different but their new guy is brought up on good attacking cricket on fast wickets playing at home. Pak are doing the same but KG and Saim need to establish themselves first before we find somebody to replace BABAR
 
You know you're doing something right when opposition start sledging.

Been a good session so far for PAK. For once we've not gone into our shells in these conditions.

How has KG not established himself in test cricket?

He scored a debut 100 as soon as babar was kicked out and proved why he's worthy of being a solid no 4
