Pakistan are following on and 14/1 after debutant Abbott dismantled the Pakistani batting order in the first innings

Still need 239 runs before SA can bat...

YK and Azhar Ali on the crease

please dont lose any wickets until lunch!!!

dont care if you defend everything.

Aus scored at under 3 vs India in India and were PRAISED by their fans.

Just get to lunch 1 down.... :/

Almost 20 mins gone... just 100 mins until lunch, lol.

Both looking good & positive, but MASSIVE cracks. Any ball could cause an issue, no matter how set you are....

Home track bully just has to bowl and the track will do the rest.

Azhar hits him for a four and Steyn almost bursts out crying.

Would be nice if you guys show a little class, even if there is no logic.

Why would Steyn be bothered if we are 30 for 1. Read that again, its 30 for 1, not 300 for 1. Not to mention its on a follow on in a series that we have already lost.

But 30 mins done, just another 90 mins till lunch.

C`mon Pak, get to lunch 1 down so we can at least get back into the game.

Come on now , this is the most positive they have looked in this match .

RR is 2.18, last 10 overs were 24, last 3 were 7 runs.

Just proof that if you DO NOT LOSE WICKETS, you look good. If you lose wickets, you look stupid.

RR is not relevant until after lunch on day 4.

May well be misbah's last knock as captain of the test team. Make it count :hafeez

I think SA is the only place left that doesn't have flat tracks. Everywhere else you go, the tracks are pretty flat. Yes in England it swings when it's overcase but in SA, the bounce and movement is relentless.

These wickets have been extremely lively and you have to feel for the pak batting.

That exactly why we shouldn't buy too much into this series. While SA must be excited at having us there, we only tour them once in 5 years. Unless you're national geographic, SA doesn't matter. Chances are the next time we meet them they'll choke to a defeat. Lets see if Steyn averages less than 46 in UAE this year.

Business as usual. By the way i see Steyn was bowling serious heat yersterday. Perhaps he was hurt by Abbot raining on his parade. Saw balls around 148.

Sir Imran Farhat putting chokers in their places. :)))

As soon as they see some aggression they choke.

i like Farhat his style he just try and not defense defense only cause we gave all seen that's not working

but a professional side must show some resistance no matter what venue it is.

Our problem is that our batting is perhaps the only one that derives its strength from our bowling. When bowlers bowl good, Pakistan looks a world champion.

Therefore, if our bowling had clicked, we could have drawn this series like in 1998.

:four lovely stroke by Farhat.

Farhat is succeeding because he's looking to be positive and he isn't from the Misbah school of batting.

Imran Farhat playing without pressure knowing that every one else has failed. This goes on to show how important the mental aspect of the game is. If our batsman had been a bit more positive and had take the game to Steyn and co, the series might been more competitive.

Both batsmen playing well. I refreshed this page after like 5 mins and this thread barely moved. Where is everyone?

Azhar despite his poor series averages 43 in test cricket.

He plays the short ball well

I'm very impressed with Farhat. He has a poor record but his skills are very underrated by some on here

Farhat has never really failed. He has always contributed when he was drafted in. There is just a hate for him because of his connections.

Azhar has to work on his spin play. Its poor.

Farhat gets a single and Azhar has 5 dots next balls.

Everyone bashes farhat here on PP but boy has he outclassed our "star" batsmen jamshed so far.

167 we are trailing by.

PAK can win this test if we score 367 more runs. Farhat is coming off a triple ton. He'll need a double here.
