Sri Lanka (174/4) beat India (173/8) by 6 wickets in Match 3 of the Super 4s - Asia Cup 2022

Have India better bowling attack than Afghanistan?

Dilshan madushanka has been very impressive today.
He can serve srilanka for long time.
Srilanka should manage him well.

Ashwin looks so much better with bat than that Hooda guy.

Jadeja is the X factor player for India. Without him India has to work a lot harder to win. rate him very highly.

But for our fans Pant is the X factor player. He has failed in every important LOI match in the last few years and everytime the blame was put on Jadeja/Dhoni. :inti

Has a single team avoided penalty overs this tournament?

Such a lame gimmicky rule for bowlers to get bashed even more. I get that they want the games/innings to end on time but if everyone is going over it, it means they haven't set the time accordingly.

Srilanka with all the momentum going into the second innings. India in trouble

India have fallen short here. The most they can get is 182

Why don't India realise that rishabh pant is not a limited overs batsman.
He averages 23 after 56 matches in t20is.
He is good for that low level IPL.

True....specially in this hot weather.

There should be some allowance for that.

Hooda has been a huge let down after all the hype from some posters claiming that he was a better T20 batsman than Babar.

I agree, it's a dumb rule.

Without Rohit's inngs...India would've struggled to reach 140 here

Poor batting effort

Will rate India as favorites. 175 is still a big target anywhere in the world.

Hasaranga does a Fakhar at the end by dropping the catch and conceding runs

175 is pretty decent score in the end....pitch is slower than last game

Won't be easy for SL

Enough runs on the board. Good knock by Rohit and vital cameos by Pant, Pandya and Ashwin. :inti

Its a decent score despite a stuttering innings. Over to bowlers now.

For the first time, I don't even know one of the SL players lol

Runs on the board and enough to defend. If India holds on to catches, they should win this easily

The usual routine oriented approach from India.

When India lost two wickets early, they should have sent Deepak Hooda at 4 and keep the big hitters- SKY, Pant and Pandya are 5,6 and 7. Hooda would have played a cameo with bat and released some pressure allowing SKY to play his natural game.

Ultimately, Pandya's bowling will decide the fate of this game. His bouncers will not be easy for SL batsman to hit on this pitch as it is holding a bit.

So now you want Hooda at 4? :facepalm :inti

Having seen sl chase down 180 plus vs Afghanistan and Being on the receiving end after setting 180 plus against Pakistan . India would've liked sumthing around 190. But with ashwin in the team today and also The pitch being slightly slower than Sunday I think 175 keeps india in the game. If india take regular wkts they should win the game. But if the game goes down to last over sl will win

Bhuvneshwar the trundler Kumar so far so good.
Perfect pitch for him and the other trundlers as well.

Deepak Hooda- Babar Azam
SKY- AB devilliers
Pant- Gilchrist

All would have destroyed the bowling as per the usual routine in t20’s. Only poor captaincy from Rohit saved SL here

Just 1 run in the first over! BK has already tilted this competition in India's favour. Don't understand why he gets so much hate

I didn't see anyone said that..

I clearly remember some Indian fans and some self-proclaimed Pakistan fans saying that SKY's strike rate was 175 and hence his T20 potential is higher than Babar.

None anywhere close to

Babar - Kohli

:91: :inti

As a neutral, I think it is advantage Sri Lanka.

Can't blame Wasim.

170 is chasable in Dubai.

I agree with you, he is basing it on what he has seen in last few games. Nothing wrong with his comment but I think this pitch is not easy to hit. It is pretty slow and not coming well on bat.
