The only thing which concerns me is that these guys should talk to each other saying that they can cross the finishing line...too often the tailenders bring the team to the brink of victory (from a hopeless position) only to finish just short. You can't blame them for that since they aren't used to such things. I hope that doesnt happen today for Pakistan's sake. These two guys deserve to be on the winning side..

The closer you get the harder it gets. SL were always likely to be favourities even if we needed 10 runs because all it would take is 2 balls.

More than fifty runs in the death overs.

Sri Lanka was at 136 - 6, and then, tailenders have dominated Shahid Khan Afridi, Gul at the death overs. That is mainly reason why chasing more than 200 runs was impossible knowing the pitch condition. Nevertheless, fine partnership between Gul and Aamer. That doesn't change the fact Pakistan lost because of bowlers. Pakistan would have had to chase 150 if it weren't poor bowling especially in quality pitch we have seen today.

the stuff i am happy about, is we gave lankans the impression that, you may have blown out our main batting, but our tail proved that, u urselves had little to do with ur triumph, it was our tail treating u like kids, indeed our batting line-up gave u this game as a goodwill gift, lol

This is really a problem with Pakistan team once they get the match in their control by taking 6 or 7 wickets then be tend to loose concentration and give away easy runs at the end... teams like Australlia does not let the opposition dominate at the death overs after gaining control in the middle of the match..

Agreed bcz even if our Youngsters fail we will be investing in our youngster by investing in them (giving them ample opportunities at the international level)

Poor display, again i have to mention Younus the captain and the wisdom of sending out Malik to open, when it was so obvious that he had struggled against the new ball.....His field placings made no sense.

Again people are looking at the openers and that they are makeshift, but what have our specilists ever done, i suppose "specialists" would have batted out the swing, wrong, the likes of Butt and Manzooror, Nazir...all of them are useless on swinging pitches.

Misbah had the right idea in THIS odi, but then again he always does, but he gets out trying to push the pace, age is stacked against him.

Malik-what to say of this guy....he isn't an opener and i was shocked to see him opening, so was the likes of Ramiz. As much he needs to be rested, I think it was unfair to open with him given his 139 came against an old ball. I wouldn't drop him....return him to six, he also provides a handy option with the ball especially when the likes of Afridi have an off day (like 2day).

Yousuf-Everyone knows my views on Yousuf or "Mr Soft dismissal". Age again is not on his side.

Younus--How long will the captaincy burden his batting, when will his batting come to the fore, he should learn of Graeme Smith and Andre Strauss how to handle both.

For Me Mr Umar Akmal .should get a game, in place of Yousuf, Malik or Misbah. Im against Specilist openers like Butt, Manzoor, Nazir

I dozed off when I was saw the score was 160 ODD with Kulasekara and Mathews on the crease and considering we shoulde get them all out under 200 , Although I had already predicted that we were gonna lose after I saw the pitch and the Lankan bowling line-up but this is a great effort from the team to get even close to the 200 mark , I clap for their Almost Hard-work

I know many other like myself would have been thinking of a great score of below hundred by our batting line-up......so getting even close to that 200 mark is quite a great achievement for us.

I've noticed that the best wickets that Aamer takes seem to be bowled and caught by him. I mean take today for example. What an amazing recovery and catch! If it was anyone else, they might have actually dropped the ball out of their butterfingers
