In all fairness, Sami back after two years away probably needs to bowl his last two overs, just to get back in the swing of things. I don't think he'll make the cut, and I don't think he's good enough for international cricket, but when they've selected him, they m ight as well try and play him into form, particularly Ina match situation like this.

TBH, Umar is a better T20 choice than Shakeel, it'll make way for another batsman like Haris Sohail, or Jamshed when he's back. And if Pakistan really want a specialist 'keeper for T20s, then pick Sarfraz or Jamal Anwar.

Although this is Shakeel's debut game, not collecting the ball thrice is over the top.
