41 runs needed here, rehman needs to stick around and sarfaraz needs to take charge of the situatiuon we cant afford a collapse here.

I agree with Ramiz. There has been a marked improvement in Shafiq and Rahman. Credit where its due. Nice work Grant!

What a shot! Beautifully dispatched. Simply walking down the pitch and picking the gap on mid-wicket.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Bangladesh are a decent batting side on flat wickets (probably better than Pakistan).

Younis missed on a double. :( :( :( :( Man i was soo hoping there but great knock man great match winning knock.

I think we've put up a good total here. I have no doubt we'll get to around 400+.

With Sri Lanka having to bat last it will be an uphill task for them to chase anything. I'm confident we can score a victory here.

Rehman is our only left handed in the team so he has to show that our tail can perform. Sarfraz needs to lead here.

A Rehman is also a sitting duck against short deliveries. Hope Lankans don't pepper him with bouncers..

Stating fact.

Bangladesh scored 600 on the same pitch.

It hadn't rained for 4 days prior to the match starting. That changes everything.

Secondly, The average score on this pitch is 350 odd.

What a fantastic knock from Younus.Bailed us out of trouble once more.

Sad he couldn't get a double though.

How many times have Pakistan scored 600 on a flat wicket?

And NZ??

Considering they beat you on those wickets and we steamrolled them.

Thats why NZ could win a test during their last tour to BD.

How many times have NZ done the same??

Dont feed the troll. He obviously got burned as we batted well and disappeared from the thread and has now come back fresh with off topic and senseless posts about how bangladesh are better then us.

Avg Sixth-Wicket Partnership Since 2010

Pakistan 42 829 118 21.81 1 2

Lowest among all top 10 nations :(

He looks much better now that's he's more confident, that knock against SL looks to have done wonders for him.

Yeah. He means business.:akhtar

Kidding.

He has definitely improved and has starting scoring consistently. I am not overrating or hyping him, obviously. He needs to score more consistently for me to rate him properly.

Our lower order was pathetic. Our keeper couldnt bat and bowlers believed only in bowling not batting. I hope to see some changes as they will be needed against australia.

Burned for what? YK, Shafiq and Sarfraz have batted well, it doesn't change the fact the wicket is clearly eased up.

Well Imagine what you will do in the U.A.E then. A predict a worse outing the England seeing as they had Swan and Monty.
Bangladeshi wickets are some of the flattest in the world, giving anything to our spinners will only bring them into the game.

We scored 680 against India 6-7 months ago :91:

Honestly, who cares how many runs a team scores as long as they end up winning. A team could score a 1,000 runs but it wouldn't matter unless they won the game. We can win this game by scoring 400 odd runs here and that is what should matter.

Only sarfaraz is the hope and talha can hit few boundries too thats it

Dean Jones is impressed with Sarfraz:

"The way he goes about his job has impressed me." :inzi
