Nasir really does suck. Too bad every bowling attack isn't like Zimbabwe or he would have shown his 'class'.

i know PPer has really hyped this Nasir guy but he is quite a sad story not able to perform on a god pitch. Only against BD I guess

SERIOUSLY? can we ever get a good start? EVER?

We got 9 on the board much better, hell 9 times better than the last start. :P

Thats the second time Jamshed has offered catching practice to the Lankan slip fielders. Has he signed some secret deal to be their fielding coach or something?! But the lad needs more chances :inti

Pakistan should bring along Nasir on every tour.... just to give our slip catchers some practice.

Almost a carbon copy of his dismissal from the last match. No foot movement and just was trying to reach for it in the end.

Nazir on screen, he looks angry and hungry.

Nazir, Shahzeb, and Akmal are our best top three.

Afridi as the floater.

Very disappointing from Nasir, just dabbing impotently at the ball. Real pity, as a couple of good knocks would have ensured him a run. As it stands, he's likely to sit out the rest of the series, and deservedly so.

we just have to go in circles to find out that Butt is the best out of our pathetic bunch of openers.

Imran Nazir and then Nasir Jamshed are the best out of the lot from the ones I have seen. They need to be played, both of them and given confidence.

why Pak batsman do not leave balls that are too wide. They seemed to be trying to play every ball.
too risky

I have not seen Nazir recently but i doubt that he has improved his technique since he last played for Pakistan. He has played 70+ matches, even more that Salman Butt.

He may be good for T20 but absolutely not good enough for ODIs. He is a hit and miss player. Afridi will do a better job opening the innings than Nazir.

for those watching live - any idea how fast these lankan openers bowl? commentary frequently mentions seam up deliveries, were none of the pakistani bowlers bowling seam up in the last two matches?

Imran Nazir's technique is fine. Its his temperament thats the problem. And we won't know if its improved or not if we don't play him

This team has no tail ( on paper) except Saaed

1- His technique is not fine; he is absolutely horrible against the incoming delivery.

2- The place to judge his temperament is not international cricket but domestic/A-level cricket. Just as we did with Fawad/Umar Akmal.

we perform the best when we r pushed to the limit
mark my words we ll play good today and
WE WILL WIN !!!
