Umar Akmal deciding that Afridi is doing all the run-scoring so he'll help with the fielding.
 
I think YK has just sent Afridi out there to hit out and propell the run rate. Upsets the bowlers off their line and length and also gives our run rate a push. We have Razzaq and Rana to come, so he can afford to take some risks
 
Fawad was out of touch and played poor especially the out.
One thing he did was to steady the ship for a little while

Pak can make at least 100 more runs if our batsmen manage to play all the 50 overs. 275+ would be a good score.

Good job Aus selectors did not think like you or else we would not have seen hayden and hussy kick start their careers well into their 30s.

Sorry guys I don't no if am speaking to early but before the start of todays match i was thinking of Afridi's 37 ball 100 runs against SRI LANKA when he made his debut & how wounderful would it be if something similer happened today!! INSALLAH

Afridi did his job i think, but still a lot of work to be done. Murali has almost bowled his quota.

Afridi is certainly alot better than Malik and Misbah as he score his runs quickly and don't waste ball when he has scored low...

THat was a big WATA bowl by Murali and thats what Afridi was pointing at. Well he really is a WATA bowler but on that occasion he threw it really fast and Afridi was surprised.
 
We certainly have the depth in the batting last time when wasim akram played I think we had solid batting till 9....now Aamir day by day improving his batting is good for Pakistan..

Only problem is that he cant control himself when pak are 77-5 :D , only proper batsman can do that...which arent Malik and Misbah I know.
