Ajmal keeping it tight, Kaneria needs to stick to basics here whilst bowling at other end.

We should also give Alam the chance to throw his arm.....he may be effective as Herath has taken alot of wickets....

I think this is the best spin attack Pakistan has after Saqi and Mushi.....
I disagree. I think Afridi here would have been a handful and I hope he is selected for the test series against Australia.

We have not seen a quality left arm spinner coming for Pakistan for a long time.....isn't it amazing......

Even when we had one, we didn't really played in the team that much (iqbal Qasim)

Well. in my opinion we should also look for any quality left armers in the domestic circuit....if any...then they should be groomed at the Academy.....

this is beginning to worry me now...somehow this pitch has gotten extremely easier to bat on rather than the other way round! I sincerely hope SL dont pull this off...they are looking dangerous.

Aamer should be given a go at Sangakara. He has troubled him all the series.

If :gul can score 46 what did you expect.

No SL batsman has scored a century in this series. One of them will need to if they are to win this one.

fawad is seriously a very good fielder, maybe im going a bit over the top here...but from what I have seen of him so far, he can easily rank and compete amongst the worlds best fieders out there at the minute.

Certainly our teams best fielder by a country mile in any case!

Get in - good wicket for Malik, nice catch from Fawad

SL 142-2

Sangakarra 32*
Jaywardene 0*

SL require another 350 runs

Don't damm him with faint praise. It's like saying Emma Bunton was the prettiest Spice Girl.

Not much competition really.

:))) :))) :))) QOTW

Lets have some score updates - for those stuck watching the Disney Channel

12 overs left, or 47 minutes, whichever comes first.

Would love one more before stumps.

The most important partnership to break now... we get this and we've got the game inshallah!

Younis has just dropped Sangakkara, was tough they either stick or they don't.

Well bowled Dani boy, and congrats to Akmal, the shock on his face tells a story!

Despite Akmal's best efforts he manages to hold onto the catch.
Dani boy surely can't believe it.................

Big one there. These two are vital for the Lankans now.

What's the latest on Dilshan? I'm guessing he'll bat but was he out on the field? What position will he bat?

I think IF he comes in, it'll be at number eleven, at least that's the impression the commentators were giving

I wouldve settled for 3 down at the end of this day, but now that we've got that....can we nip another one out? :D

One more wicket here would be great for pakistan. 3 down and 7 to go.

Still alot of hard work to go!
