Waqar Younis is shifting from side to side, sucking
his upper lip in... he wishes he could jump in the
middle there. He is going to lose his hair this way.

I can't imagine how Sangakkara can call himself a sport-
man, while disallowing Afridi a runner. Shameful. They
might win this match, but the moral victory is of Afridi here.

Sanga is a loser,
Sanga is a loser

I dont agree, field was spread, easy singles were available..Now they have to take some risks to pierce the field..

We need to bat sensibly IMO, trying to smash Malinga will lose wickets and the run rate is fine, singles will do it.

are we finally gonna win a from tense situation

it would be huge for us simply because of the recent trend of losing such matches. would be a turning point in pak cricket.

Chill out. Yeah, Sanga's been a whiner since handed captaincy but this wasnt his fault. The ICC said cramps shouldn't be a cause for a runner either I believe.

"
"He [Smith] asked for a runner and the umpires took the view that cramp is a symptom of fatigue," an ICC spokesperson was quoted as saying by PA. "Being tired does not qualify batsmen for a runner under the laws of the game. "

Massive wicket, Akhtar can you complete the fairytale return?

whoa! i would have loved that if Pakistan was bowling, unfortunately we are batting and 8 down.

Captain, thats what I said there was no need to take the power play because they were picking up easy singles with field being spread..

Gotta love Pakistan.

They make even the easiest situations incredibly difficult.

Runs needed at less than 4.5 an over, 3 wickets in hand, PP time and wow.

It looks like the losing strike will continue

If we lose, I'm blaming it on Razzaq

Even if he's not out, I don't care

It's his fault

now its all or nothing,
no1 would blame razzaq for going ballistic and getting out in the process!

thats baloney...cramping does allow a runner

If you take PP and then tell the opposition that all you are interested are in thuk thuk, well then this happens.

Must play their shots. Match is still in Pakistan's favour, if they are positive. Razzaq, start hitting.

Mohd. Aamir looks puzzled, as his bails are sent flying
by Malinga.

He was clueless today, so in a way, it's good he made
way for somebody who can do something with the ball
in his stead.

Akhtar walks in confident. First ball to him, one run. See
Aamir... that's how you DO IT!

A bit pathetic, dont you think? :13: Not his fault he is losing partners at the other end.
He is playing sensibly. According to the situation.

Asif needs to survive one ball and not many people would back him too. :))

Razzaq needs to make his move now. Don't wait for the other two to get knocked over.

Are you joking?

He's been pathetic! Look at his strike rate. He's barely taken any singles or shown any intent at all. And now he just goes and poops it all up, almost.

Asif and Razzaq now.It looks like we've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory once again !

Now, if we bat out malingas over, then razzaq needs 2-3 boundaries off next over to release pressure, thats the only chance. but razzaq needs to think carefully here.
