Unbelievable Willow TV all of a sudden says "This event is not available in your region ". This is ridiculous. Oh well this means, ill have to threaten to unsubscribe and they will offer one more month of free Subscription.

^ The rain can make it more difficult for the batsmen so its not all against Lanka.

Matthews needs to set ultra-attacking fields though.

Crucial partnership. If these guys can hang on till tea, the Saffers will be fairly safe.

Sachin + Dravid + VVS = Amla.

# has qualitites of all three batsmen.

:))

Sanga questioning whether Amla really has cramps, the umpire saying "we'll have to take his word for it".

Sanga just keeps becoming more and more unlikable.

Matthews drops his opposite number on 84...

... balls.

Lol Amla trying to do cricketjoshila here.. Aman @~Red Devil~

Ball tampering in test 1, rain in test 2. South Africa are going to undeservedly keep top rank!

Can you believe that those cheating Saffers (3 ball tamperers in last year, although the first time Philander only got a warning) are going to steal this series?

In the first test Philander ruined the ball with his stubby little fingers so it reverse swung to a devastating amount. Now in this test match the rain has taken away 30 overs of play in the last 2 days. Thirty overs more for South Africa to be bowled out.

South Africa are done, Australia are miles better. Australia deserve to be top ranked.

Amla continues to impress and so far captaincy hasn't affected his batting which is good to see :cook

A whinging Pom, nothing new here guys move along.

70 overs and just over a 100 runs? no wonder tests has its flaws but then again a draw is a result. Very unusual of SA to play like this. Maybe because I'm supporting them?

Played a Smith innings today did Amla.

Must feel gutted for going for that drive but well played, well played. Hope he isn't injured.

Time for Duminy to prove that he belongs. Haven't seen him step up when needed, ever.

Amla doesn't deserve to lose this test. Come on Faf, Duminy, Philander and Steyn!

GONE. HERAATH you beauty! 6 down. Can SA survive?

I said on the first day on this thread ...... If Lanka has to win , they need Herath to fire.

That's 10 wickets lost from Sri Lanka due to umpires call. Happened a dozen times as well in England.

Could become interesting if these two get the overs down to about 10. Looking solid thus far.

With AB a close second?
And wow, not watching the match, only a scorecard, but Herath seems to be bowling beautifully.

Yes, ABCD is second to Amla in playing spin but they play spin differently. ABCD used his quickness to get to the pitch of the ball. Amla likes to hang back in his crease.

ABCD can dominate pace more than Amla though.

If Ajmal was bowling on this track, he would have got a 7 for. That's how much the ball is gripping, ripping and turning.

37 overs still left according to the commies. Aww man.

Roughly 35 overs left according to H. D. Ackerman

17 for is more like it, lol.

The Lankan batsmen are real champions on such tracks, they were playing like it was a normal SSC track in the first innings.

The Ten Sports people are doing a bad job explaining the situation. Are those 35 overs going to be bowled whatever happens?

Are those 35 overs guaranteed to be bowled?

Yes if there are NO interruptions. However, there is the threatening dark clouds approaching which means a lack of light means play will be called off and overs are lost.

No surprises to see SA playing like this, I don't think they've ever won a Test series in SL before.

Here comes the rain.

Credit to the SSC ground staff, they're very quick in getting the covers on.

This is very frustrating. Would be tragic if SL lose this series.
