Why not ? SRT is labelled a cheat for not 'walking' but an umpire doesnt give out a lumb LBW then I have to just sit there and not make a sound ?...

Back to the topic; Gamini De Silva in the 2nd test, have a good look at the replay and if you cant give it out then there is no need for the LBW rule...

Watching the whole game live in TV, quite a disturbing sign if India cant get rid of these tail enders who look so horrible with the bat, they look like they could fall flat on their face anytime... India always had these creative ways of making absolute ordinary players look like superstars..
 
Badrinath is the kind of player who deserves to have a solid international career considering he has done so well for so long in domestic cricket....
 
sl can still win, if they can add another 58 runs....

ok sl failed to add another 58 runs, so india will win this match easily...

Dhoni doesnt seem to like Badri, prompts himself up so Badri wont get a chance sad to to see these kind of pathetic politics....1 more wicket pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

Badri has played Mendis better than the Fab4 and even other members of this team. But again, today he wasn't supposed to score quickly (but neither were Sachin and co.), so it will be early to commit one way or the other.
Looks promising though.

I dot think Sachin had any problems playing mendis either. Got out to him just once and never struggled to pick him up

Thanks Momo 'bro' :D .. In reply to you early post on Badri; he looks technically correct, looked at ease against Murali & Mendis played both of them all along the ground. Badri does have experience facing Murali in the nets as both played for Chennai in IPL, one reason why he has looked comfy. However one major turn off; he seems to have some VVS like habits of not sheilding the tail it seems..
 
Congrats India on levelling the series with 3 games to go. The pacers Pravin Kumar, Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel bowled really well and put the basmen under pressure. India got off to a stumbling start but new boy Badrinath ensured a win for India batting cool under pressure.

This is an incurable habit, you know.
 
Area of concern for India is how to roll the tail over once the top batsmen have all fallen cheap.

Rohit and Raina continue to have a bad run, but I was really impressed by Kohli and Badri.
