Zimbabwe captain was babbling about dew and elected to field first. I just can't believe this! Now let's see how much dew will affect Sri Lanka's bowling in the second session.

and we are talking about if Pakistan will lose from Zimbabwe ?

i think after 50 overs SL will be 350 + for no loss..

and win it before 35 overs by a margin of 200 + runs..

Dilshan is playing crap on purpose....

I smell some kind of a deal here not to make 200 record...

Tharanga is going crazy while Dilshan is like dead!

Wont the best result for us be for SL to trash Zim?
That means even if we god forbid loose our next two games and zim win thiers we might have a higher NRR then Zim?
If SL loose (which im nt saying they will just talking hypothetically) that will help Zim catch up, and then if they god fo bid beat us and Kenya they will have eight points and Pak will have 6 going into teh Aus game which means we will have not only beat Aus but make sure our NRR is higher then Zim.

Coz this is the same ground we played NZ on :yk

Im not saying that Pak will sturggle or god forbid lose...but just with Pak anything is possible :afridi just looking at all the options

I was looking at the fixtures..the upside if we end up finishing fourth in the group is we get to play on a Sat so can watch the game :P

DILSHAN is useless, he has a greta oppurtunity to beat Tendukars record....

I dotn understand why he is playing so slow... he should be aiming to beat the record.... something fishy about his inning!

Well we will just have to wait and see. Honestly if we lose to THIS Zimbo bolwing line-up then maybe we deserve a flight back home earlier :yk

I was just looking at the probable worst case scenario presuming SL win this game the table could finish:

Aus: 11 points
SL: 9 points
NZ: 8 points
Pak & Zim: 6 points goes down to NRR

But inshallah we should beat Zim & inshAllah also hoping for us to end Aus's winning streak.

For the wrestling fans out there i find the Aus winning streak more annoying then Taker's WM streak :P
 
This is fantastic. Sri Lanka absolutely thrashing Zimbabwe. No idea why the Zimbabweans chose to field first :))

A big win by Zimbabwe here, and we'll be in the quarters anyway. Even if we loose to Zim and Australia, the fight for 4th place will come down to run rate. And Zimbabwe's is likely to be terrible after this match.
 
Silly cricket totaly wasted the effor from openors I was thinking of something around 400.

Srilanka misses big hitters for death overs! angela mathews is the only player one say who can score big in the final overs ... they shud play kapugedara in place of chamara i think
 
Sri Lanka have no big hitters. Perera is meant to be their hitter but he is a blind slogger, everything goes to mid on no matter what, short ball, yorker, bouncer, EVERYTHING!

Mahroof & Vass were awesome.After them SL haven't found any good striker of the ball in late overs.
 
I think Sri lanka will hammer the Zimbos here!

This is is something Pakistan need to do when we play Zimbos!

Hmm Zimbabwe doing well, but they aren't going to win. Which is good for us.

That's what you call a coward's way of thinking, unfortunately our coaches/captain have also proven to be cowards. Our fate is still in our own hands. All we gotta do is beat Zimbabwe.

What a start for Zim, I think i might just shift towards supporting Zim in this match, but honestly I don't care as long as the match is good :P

To be perfectly honest, I think we all expect Murali to rip them apart. They can't play normal spin...let alone Murali.
 
Poor Malimna! Having a terrible game! Misfielded a 4, dropped a catch and was smashed around in the bowling :))
 
ZIM playing well here ....I am not expecting them to win ..but will be very good if they manage to get close to the total will be Moral boosting for them ...
