Yeah. Religion is definitely a very important common factor among all Muslim states.

I can't speak for other Bangladeshis. But, I always put religious identity over national identity. A Nigerian Muslim or a Pakistani Muslim is dearer to me than a Bangladeshi atheist, for example.

As for India, they are getting very isolated due to their shortsightedness and hubris. Their reputation is tanking. They may decline in different metrics in the long run.

RAB arrests parents of prime suspect Faisal in Hadi attack​

DHAKA, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the parents of Faisal Karim Masud, the key suspect in the shooting of Inqilab Manch spokesperson and Dhaka-8 aspiring candidate Sharif Osman Hadi.

The arrests were made around 5.30 am on Tuesday from South Keraniganj area on the outskirts of the capital.

The arrestees are Md. Humayun Kabir, 70, and his wife Mosa Hasi Begum, 60, residents of Kishabpur under Baufal Police Station in Patuakhali district.

A specialized team of RAB-10 carried out the operation at Hasnabad Housing under Dakshin Keraniganj Police Station, Dhaka, using intelligence analysis and modern technology.

RAB-10 officials said the couple has been handed over to the investigating officer for further legal proceedings.

According to investigators, Faisal is the third of four siblings and frequently visited the seventh-floor apartment of his sister, Mosa Jasmine Akhter, in Agargaon, Dhaka.

On the night of the incident, he arrived there with a bag, later throwing a black bag out of the window and handing it to his nephew Jamil, 18.

He also disposed of one of his two mobile phones by throwing it from the rooftop, while the other phone was given to his mother.

After meeting his parents, Faisal left Agargaon, moved to Mirpur, and later took shelter at the Shahzadpur residence of Arif, nephew of Md. Humayun Kabir.

During this period, he handed the bag and some money to his father and rented a CNG-run auto-rickshaw.

Subsequently, the accused went to Keraniganj to the house of his younger brother Hasan Mahmud Bablu alias Raj.

From there, they purchased two mobile SIM cards from Jurain and used them.

On December 16, RAB recovered the firearms and ammunition used in the shooting and arrested Md. Faisal, 25, in this connection from Narsingdi district.

The recovery was made from Taruar Beel in front of Molla's house in the Taruar area under Sadar Police Station, Narsingdi.

Recovered items included two foreign-made pistols, two magazines, one toy pistol, and 41 rounds of ammunition, which were reportedly dumped in water after the incident.

Earlier, on December 15, RAB arrested Md. Kabir, a close aide of prime accused Faisal Karim Masud.

RAB had also detained prime suspect Faisal's wife Samia, his friend Monika, and his brother-in-law Shipu in connection with the case.

Earlier on December 13, RAB seized the motorcycle used in the attack on Osman Hadi and arrested its owner Md Abdul Hannan from the city's Mohammadpur area.

The shooting took place in broad daylight in the city's Paltan area on Friday.

Sharif Osman Hadi was later flown to Singapore for advanced medical treatment by an air ambulance that departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:55 pm on Monday.

Further investigation is underway to identify others involved in the incident.

They have zero real ally. Even Russia just want to sell oil/weapons to India; Russia is not a military ally of India. Russia is allied with China.

I think India is likely to suffer many setbacks in the coming decades. They may lose lands too. China already showed interest in Arunachal Pradesh. China also grabbed 38,000 sq km of Indian territory since 1962 (including 2000 sq km of Indian territory since 2021).

If China wish to, they can get whole of India. India is no match to China. I think Arunachal Pradesh may go to China at some point.

Also, Khalistani movement is picking up pace. Maybe an independent Khalistan can become a reality also.

I can see India conceding territories in the long run. Not a matter of if but when.
