I think this incident will redefine BD relationship with Ind. IF there ever was a chance of normalized Ind & BD relationship, it is gone for a long time. India succeeded to sow the same seed of hatred in BD which Pak did almost 54 years ago.

Pakistan-BD relation have improved a lot at people level. After Hasina's departure, it also improved at state level.

1971 happened over 50 years ago. Most people have moved on. A few losers from Hasina's party may still feel salty but they are irrelevant currently.

India did 3 blunders in Bangladesh - 1) they tried to interfere in BD's internal matters, 2) they instilled a puppet in the form of Hasina, and 3) they ripped off Bangladesh at every opportunity they got.

If India stayed neutral like China, things could've remained cordial.

India also got hijacked by sanghi extremists. They harm/dehumanize minorities in India and that also played a factor.

Suffice to say BD have entered a new political era. It is heading toward a new status quo.

Let me say it without sugarcoating, despite the ugly game Pak military general played, there was one thing in common between BD and Pak - religion.

I do understand that religion does not mean an automatic forgiveness, but it does have an effect of binding. That binding force never went away between Pak and BD. Of course, generation passed, things evolved, and hence some wounds healed.

Indian (Sanghi) stupidity will not only push BD far away from them, now it will push BD further into China's camp. It will make Chinese job easier to play some sort of a game in the NE of India. Let see how things GRADUALLY unfold.

Yeah. Religion is definitely a very important common factor among all Muslim states.

I can't speak for other Bangladeshis. But, I always put religious identity over national identity. A Nigerian Muslim or a Pakistani Muslim is dearer to me than a Bangladeshi atheist, for example.

As for India, they are getting very isolated due to their shortsightedness and hubris. Their reputation is tanking. They may decline in different metrics in the long run.

China is playing it very intelligently. They do not interfere in internal matters of other countries. They do not try to install puppets. They focus on growth which is commendable.

On December 11, he stayed at his sister’s house in West Agargaon to prepare.



Events on the Day of the Attack​


  • Early Morning (Friday, 5:22 AM)
    Faisal and Alamgir arrived at Green Zone Resort, Hemayetpur.
    Faisal’s girlfriend Maria and her sister were already there.

    He instructed her to cut all contact after the incident.
  • 8:54 AM – Faisal left the resort with Maria.
    Maria was dropped off in Badda via Uber.
  • 11:05 AM – Faisal and Alamgir left Agargaon on a motorcycle and went directly to Hadi’s campaign in Segunbagicha.
  • 12:22 PM – After the campaign, Hadi departed for Motijheel.
    The shooters followed his auto-rickshaw.


Tracking and Shooting​


  • 12:50 PM – Hadi reached Jamia Darul Ulum Mosque, Motijheel.
    He performed Friday prayers and was supposed to campaign afterward.
    Two members of the shooter team were present there as well.
  • 2:16 PM – After prayers, Hadi left the area.
    The shooters followed him through Shapla Chattar, Daily Bangla intersection, and into Paltan Box Culvert Road.
  • 2:24 PM – After searching for an open spot for nearly two and a half hours, Faisal fired two shots at close range, killing Hadi.


Escape and Evidence Destruction​


  • Immediately after the shooting, the shooters fled via Bijoynagar, Kakrail, Shahbagh, and Farmgate, reaching Faisal’s sister’s house in West Agargaon around 3:00 PM.
  • A man rang the doorbell to inquire about renting the apartment, causing panic.
    Faisal dropped a bag containing weapons and threw his mobile phone onto a neighboring rooftop.
  • Family members became aware of the situation.
    Faisal’s parents actively helped destroy evidence.
  • 3:19 PM – Faisal’s father brought the original motorcycle number plate, replacing the fake one.
    The motorcycle was hidden in a nearby building’s garage.
  • A nephew retrieved the weapon bag and mobile phone using a ladder.


Flight from the Country​


  • 4:54 PM – Faisal left West Agargaon by CNG to Aminbazar, then traveled via Uber and private car through Dhamrai, Gazipur, Chandura–Maona, and reached Mymensingh.
  • 11:31 PM – CCTV footage shows their car arriving at Dharabazar Petrol Pump, Haluaghat.
  • Human trafficker Philip Snal received them and guided them toward the border.
  • According to arrested associates, the shooters escaped to India via the Bhutiapara border.
  • Phone IP data shows Faisal’s location later in Maharashtra, India, using a Reliance SIM.


Cover-up and Arrests​

His wife, girlfriend, parents, brother-in-law, and car driver have all been arrested. If they have assisted him, they all should get death penalties.

Remember, plan is not to take the whole of Bangladesh. It’s in Bharat’s interest to have a low income high Muslim population density smaller Bangladesh than to eradicate it. We need a dumping yard and also a source of low wage cheap labour.

Until robotics is advanced and cheap enough, we cannot simply deport all the domestic helps, sewerage workers etc.

Just take 25% land and leave them to their misery for a few decades. Let them rot and come crying back for help.

RAB arrests parents of prime suspect Faisal in Hadi attack​


DHAKA, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the parents of Faisal Karim Masud, the key suspect in the shooting of Inqilab Manch spokesperson and Dhaka-8 aspiring candidate Sharif Osman Hadi.

The arrests were made around 5.30 am on Tuesday from South Keraniganj area on the outskirts of the capital.

The arrestees are Md. Humayun Kabir, 70, and his wife Mosa Hasi Begum, 60, residents of Kishabpur under Baufal Police Station in Patuakhali district.

A specialized team of RAB-10 carried out the operation at Hasnabad Housing under Dakshin Keraniganj Police Station, Dhaka, using intelligence analysis and modern technology.

RAB-10 officials said the couple has been handed over to the investigating officer for further legal proceedings.

According to investigators, Faisal is the third of four siblings and frequently visited the seventh-floor apartment of his sister, Mosa Jasmine Akhter, in Agargaon, Dhaka.

On the night of the incident, he arrived there with a bag, later throwing a black bag out of the window and handing it to his nephew Jamil, 18.

He also disposed of one of his two mobile phones by throwing it from the rooftop, while the other phone was given to his mother.

After meeting his parents, Faisal left Agargaon, moved to Mirpur, and later took shelter at the Shahzadpur residence of Arif, nephew of Md. Humayun Kabir.

During this period, he handed the bag and some money to his father and rented a CNG-run auto-rickshaw.

Subsequently, the accused went to Keraniganj to the house of his younger brother Hasan Mahmud Bablu alias Raj.

From there, they purchased two mobile SIM cards from Jurain and used them.

On December 16, RAB recovered the firearms and ammunition used in the shooting and arrested Md. Faisal, 25, in this connection from Narsingdi district.

The recovery was made from Taruar Beel in front of Molla's house in the Taruar area under Sadar Police Station, Narsingdi.

Recovered items included two foreign-made pistols, two magazines, one toy pistol, and 41 rounds of ammunition, which were reportedly dumped in water after the incident.

Earlier, on December 15, RAB arrested Md. Kabir, a close aide of prime accused Faisal Karim Masud.

RAB had also detained prime suspect Faisal's wife Samia, his friend Monika, and his brother-in-law Shipu in connection with the case.

Earlier on December 13, RAB seized the motorcycle used in the attack on Osman Hadi and arrested its owner Md Abdul Hannan from the city's Mohammadpur area.

The shooting took place in broad daylight in the city's Paltan area on Friday.

Sharif Osman Hadi was later flown to Singapore for advanced medical treatment by an air ambulance that departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:55 pm on Monday.

Further investigation is underway to identify others involved in the incident.

Do we really need to conquer Bangladesh and make more Bangladeshis citizens of India? just do some kind of population exchange with some illegals in India and jamaati type folks with Hindus/ Buddhists/ Xtians , have some kind of arrangement to protect our heritage/ ancient temples and sites and then let them stick to their paradise. Of course some belt treatment needed to get there but don’t need more Bangladeshis in India please 🙏

They have zero real ally. Even Russia just want to sell oil/weapons to India; Russia is not a military ally of India. Russia is allied with China.

I think India is likely to suffer many setbacks in the coming decades. They may lose lands too. China already showed interest in Arunachal Pradesh. China also grabbed 38,000 sq km of Indian territory since 1962 (including 2000 sq km of Indian territory since 2021).

Also, Khalistani movement is picking up pace. Maybe an independent Khalistan can become a reality also.

I think things became too soft over the past 1 year. It allowed enemies to regroup slightly. They are not strong enough to return but can still cause nuisances.

That's actually a inaccurate comment. Their GDP per capita is very close to India and almost double that of Pakistan. They were ahead of India in many hdi under hasina. In general Bangaldeshi s insulate themselves from the rabidness of jehadism as they are more influenced by Bengali intellectualism and liberalism. There is still a section of the society that opposes the Jamaat mindset there . Problem is once the Jamaat class ally with Paksitan and start chanting jehadi slogans and burn and destroy the country. They will follow the pak route. Really sad.

I actually checked to see what was the big deal or so “intellectual” about this Hadi guy. I knew he was anti-India but that’s not a big deal, many Bangladeshis are. So, I wanted to see his “intellectual” arguments and his economic and diplomatic vision that caused such a threat to India that they had to assassinate him allegedly 👇 I was so let down. Basically his biggest issues is why do Indian channels or Indian movies release in Bangladesh 😭 ok.People are burning their own house for him. - People naturally became angry and there were protests countrywide. Some violent incidents happened as well.
- Low-IQ Indian sanghis used this opportunity to propagate fake news online. They are also feeling very agitated at home even though it has nothing to do with them.
- Hadi's killer's family have been detained for helping him escape and destroy the evidences. Other people have been detained also.

Bangladeshi authorities need to perform more actions. Detaining and jailing are not enough. Need some swift capital punishments.

If this Hadi's death doesn't result in some executions (not just lip service), that would be very farcical.

Against enemy, you can't afford to be weak or meek. You have to show strength. Peace through strength.
