For me, a classical test match is such, in which all three or, ideally a win for both sides is possible up until the final hour's of play. So for this kind of a filter the most recent classical match
I've seen in the last 5-6 years are as follows:
Pak V Eng (Lords 2016) - A proper See Saw battle that wasn't decided until Yasir went through Braistow's defenses.
Pak V Eng (Dubai 2015) - Probably the best Rear Guard I've seen from the English against us, during the fourth innings, their lower order and tail managed to survive
137 ODD OVERS !! and it wasn't until the last 30 mins of the test match that Yasir finally broke the partnership and helped us win that game. I personally thought that game was gone for all money; even more so than the first test.
Pak V SL (Sharjah 2014) - The Third and Final Test of a 3 match series that we won by playing probably one of THE best fourth innings chases of ALL TIMES. 300 runs in 2 sessions to save a series and that perfect UAE record !!
Azhar, Sarfraz and Misbah played absolute blinders to be honest.
Pak V SL (Palakelle 2015) - 6th Highest Chase in the HISTORY OF TEST CRICKET orchestrated by none other than ATG Younis himself. The miracle in that innings wasn't Younis scoring 171 to guide us home on foreign soil, it was his ability and genius to help shepherd Masood with his career best FC score. Itni Thand mein YK nay run banaye thay kay Bas maza Ageya
Pak V SA (Cape Town 2013) - We lost this game but seriously ?? Robin Peterson

??? ROBIN PETERSON !!!!!!????
