India wins Gold and Silver in Men Triple Jump.
Unbelievable!!!!!!
But i m not a Pakistani. I m from Indian occupied Jammu. I could not care less about Pakistan's performance in these irrelevant games.
BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan's Amna Fayyaz and Faiza Zafar reached the finals of the Women's Doubles Plate squash event in the Commonwealth Games 2022.
Amna and Faiza clashed with Canada's Bunyan Nicole and Naughton Hollie in the semi-final of the event. The two teams fought hard to win the game, but the Pakistan duo came out on top and beat Nicole and Hollie by 10-11 and 8-11.
In the previous game, Amna and Faiza beat Sri Lanka's Kuruppu Yeheni and Sinaly Chanithma by 1-2 in the quarter-finals of the event.
Amna and Faiza will face Australia's Haydon Alex and Turnbull Jess in the grand final at 02:00 PM (PST).
It should be mentioned here that "Plate" category is not similar as the main event and is played between losers of main event.
Considering these are basically a celebration of British Empire and I've no real qualms about that, the level of quality can't be that great and this plate really scrapes the barrell.
Come on ladies....GOLD is just 44 runs away.
Ambiguous that, no?Use the Cricket Forum thread for cricket stuff please
No Australia are not. They were beaten by India in Tokyo Quarterfinals and this game was also 1-1 before the clock decided to act funny again.
you can argue all you like but Australian team went to the final, nothing you can say or do will change that result.
A superb achievement from Nadeem. First Pakistani to win commonwealth gold in 60 odd years
Nooh butt literally won gold a day back.
Last day of the games, India has 5 gold medal matches and a bronze one left today.
Let's see how many can they bring home!!
I am interested in seeing if India can overtake New Zealand.
I am interested in seeing if India can overtake New Zealand.
We will
Not too sure.
NZ still have a very strong Gold medal chance in Squash. They will get to at least 20 golds. So India needs at least 2 Golds of the following tomorrow
1. Mens singles badminton
2. Womens singles badminton
3. Mens doubles badminton
4. Mens hockey final
5. Mens singles TT
Essentially, 5 shots and need to win 2. Our hope is to win 2 in badminton. I am not too confident about hockey and Table Tennis.
If we end up at 20 golds, that would be an amazing achievement, especially without shooting. Had there been shooting, we would have been able to challenge Canada for the 3rd.
