Agreed. In ODIs, Kohli takes the #3 spot, for me.

If u take all formats into account then its Virat Kohli! As Kumar Sangakkara has retired from ODIs and T20Is!
Bro ABDV?
All formats how is Kohli any match for ABDV?
AB de Villiers is yet to prove himself in T20Is!

Do you care about T-20s ?
Here's a statement from me, 'Kumar Sangakarra is the greatest left handed bat after Brian Lara'.
Agree or Disagree? Why?

Sensational form in domestic cricket, but averaged only 40 in his last year of Test cricket.
He probably wasn't motivated to play for SL anymore. His attitude during the recent Pak and Indian series was disappointing but understandable.
Money talks even for those who excel at the best format of the game.

I wouldn't read much into batting failures of a 38 year old batsman. Domestic cricket and test cricket have different standards. Even a slight loss of batting ability can expose you badly in test cricket, but that might not happen in FC cricket.
Would not read too much into these scores. SRT was scoring tons for fun in FC cricket while getting owned by Panesar in 2012. Similar thing happened to Sanga against Ashwin this year. He retired at the right time.
Top knock from the great man the other day for Surrey in the Royal London OD Quarter final. That too returning from Windies only a couple of weeks back after taking out the CPL title with Jamaica. Unbeaten 130 chasing 270 odd with wickets tumbling all around him. With nine down and 12 runs required off the last over hits a diving ramp shot for six and a four to take Surrey into the semisLegend!

Another Sublime hundred for Surrey.
Could have challenged Sachins test run tally if he had carried on.
Kumar Sangakkara played a fine knock to rescue his side which was tottering at 31/5 at one stage.
Sangakkara's past five County Championship innings have produced scores of 136, 105, 114, 120 and 177 not out and he has now scored 769 runs this season at an average of 128.16.
In between, he also struck an unbeaten 124 in Surrey's final One-Day Cup group match against Hampshire.
Has equalled the County championship record of 5 consecutive centuries now. Just one away from 100 career hundreds. Legend!

Sanga is easily the second best Asian batsman after Tendulkar overall. Although I am tempted to say that he should not have retired that early, but all batsmen deserve to retire in their best form. Good luck to him, a true champion of the game
Should have seriously continued playing. Sri Lanka would've never been in the position they are today. Sure, he retired in peak form but he could've helped Sri Lanka transition to the next phase.
Great batsman but not a lot to be looked into county stats. There comes a time when an established international batsman has absolutely no issues playing domestic cricket, being too used to a much higher level of competition. I read somewhere he actually equalled Parthiv Patel's record from back in 2007. Parthiv probably was 9 years old back then and never made to the Indian team over MS Dhoni.
