Its just a prediction I think they can even do it in 6, but i guess your main question is why I think Tampa for several reasons
They have more playoff experience than the panthers, and I think that can hurt the panthers in this series.
Tampa Bay even if not the strongest team in the league still look scary good, and their powerplay is something to be feared.
When it comes down to goaltending, Vasey is the best in the business. The above poster pretty much posted the same thing but i agree 100 percent.
This is why I think Tampa Bay will advance, again its prediction for fun, so I can be wrong too, only time will tell.

I just chose 7 as a safer selection, I will give Florida some credit, but it can def happen in 6. One of my good friends, told me he put Money on Tampa in 5, its possible but gotta give florida some credit haha.

I’m really interested to see Edmonton vs Calgary though, how fans of Alberta province see this clash is intriguing to me.
In states there are rarely inter state NHL rivalries eventhough Florida vs Tampa is happening but in Miami people hardly care about Panthers from what I can see, the city is not really big on Skating.

Battle of Alberta is really gonna be the series to watch for round 2. Two rivals, two teams hoping to push for a stanley cup run, and 2 young teams as well ( with the exception of Mike Smith, he is the 40 year old legend haha) I think all the series have something to offer, but battle of Alberta is number 1 series to watch.
Im really interested in Carolina vs New York Rangers as well, I believe that will be a fun series to watch as well

Started watching some NHL this season after enjoying some of the games as a kid. I heard the Yotes had gone 0-13 to start the season and I just knew I'd found my sporting story to follow.........
Can't watch much due to timezones but saw Toronto's game 7 as I'm aware of the curse that's currently calling their arena home and have to say I felt bad. Wasn't a choke this time so much as coming up against a two time defending champ and coming up very short.
16 years without a single play-off win for a franchise that big is absolutely insane. Throw in the 2013 collapse and you can see why as a Leeds fan I'm drawn towards other's pain.

2004 was the last time they made the second round so its 18 years but yes their pain makes you want to cheer for them. I myself am not a leafs fan but i want them to advance the city would go nuts haha.
And as we all know 1967 is the last time the leafs won the stanley cup

I didnt catch the game either but saw the highlights goalies allowed some soft goals it seems, some bounces and bad defence but also offensive skills of both teams

When Calgary played against Stars they did take a lot of shots but our Goalie otter made record 64 saves in the 7th game .
Don’t think Edmonton is winning this..

Do not see Edmonton winning either, their main issue is goaltending. I like Mike Smith but he is passed his prime, and Kossikanen wont get the Job done either. Flames have the potential to reach the finals atleast.
Time will tell what happens in that series. Regardless it is exciting.

Tampa Bay beats Florida 5-1 and now is up 3-0 in the series, looks like people giving Florida too much credit, myself included. The series is not done, but you can almost feel and sense Tampa Bay will sweep this series.

Yeah did not suspect that edmonton to up. McDavid is just crazy good, outstanding game by evander kane. I know tampa bay should advance and i have them advancing but to sweep is just amazing, you would think florida should be able to win 1 game lol

Edmonton beat calgary 5-4 and will advance to the third round.
I did not see edmonton winning the series when the series started and i would never think they would do it in 5 games really solid on their part.
Battle of alberta has been fun to watch but the goaltending has been bad.
Im not sold on mike smith, i do feel if edmonton plays colorado they will lose, if they play st louis maybe they can win.
Their offence looks insane but to win the cup comes down to goaltending and mike smith just does not have it IMO

Colorado Beat St.Louis last night 3-2 and advance to round 3 taking the series 4-2. What an amazing goal by Helm to win the game and the series, with 4.9 left on the clock.
Colorado vs Edmonton will be a great series to watch as well, McDavid vs Mackinnon will be a fun watch indeed.
Carolina has a chance to win the series tonight vs Rangers, if they can pull off the win.
I feel like Tampa if they play Carolina or New York Rangers, they will win regardless who they face.

For Round 3, I have predicted both Colorado and Tampa Bay to advnace, however did get the number of games in-correct
The finals is going to be Epic, Colorado vs Tampa bay are truly the best teams in Hockey, I am a big Nazem Kadri fan, so my heart says colorado but my mind says Tampa Bay.
I will take Colorado in 6 games, and for them to win the stanley cup.
Regardless of result will be a great finals indeed.

I think even If Kadri plays, its possible Colorado lose to, cuz for me it comes down to goaltending, and Vasey is better than Darcy Kuemper or Pavel Francouz

Yeah man I am Loving it.
I mean we wanted it to be more competitive, and we felt with Kadri it would be more competive.
Kadri or no Kadri, Colorado is killing Tampa Bay at the moment hahaha
However I do feel like Colorado should have this in the bag now, But do think Tampa Bay will bounce back a bit, I am suspecting closer games, now. I will still say Colorado in 6.
I believe Cale Makar said, tampa is looking to continue their dynasty, we are looking to start a legacy. If Colorado wins this year, its very possible they can be the force of hockey in the next 3-4 years to come.

The Vegas Golden Knights eliminated the Edmonton Oilers from Stanley Cup contention and advanced to the NHL's Western Conference final with a 5-2 road win Sunday.
The Golden Knights took the best-of-seven Pacific Division final four games to two.
Vegas carried a 4-2 lead into the third period on Jonathan Marchessault's natural hat trick in the second.
Reilly Smith and William Karlsson with the empty-net goal also scored for the Golden Knights. Goaltender Adin Hill made 39 saves for the victory.
Connor McDavid and Warren Foegele were Edmonton's goal scorers.

Its insane how Golden Knights are winning ,this is why it’s annoying with hockey and team with hardly any following defeats a team with such huge fan base only due to money.

A spokesperson for the Hockey Hall of Fame said the keepers of the Cup are taking the appropriate steps and plan to have it repaired by the celebration parade Sunday.
