HORTONVILLE, Wis. (KMSP) - A company in Hortonville, Wisconsin reportedly gave every employee a gun for Christmas.
WISN 12 News reported BenShot, a glass-making firm, wanted to "avoid the impersonal touch of a cash bonus that might be used to pay bills" and instead opted to give each employee a gift card for the gun of their choice.
Co-owner Ben Wolfgram said he wanted to make sure all of the employees were "safe and happy."
According to the report, the gift cards for the 16 employees cost the company about $8,000.
The company is known for producing shot and beer glasses featuring bullets embedded into the glass.
