The Rain Dance Thread

No brother shaz, the thing is this test may not matter a great deal for this series, but we will lose massive amounts of rating points because of the points difference between Pak and WI.

This will essentially put us out of the race for the top spot in tests.

We'll win a Test or two in Australia and retain our virtual no.1 Test Ranking, it's a shame that BCCI have manipulated ICC to ensure home/away games have equal weight but it's the only way for India to be no.1 and Kohli to get points so that's that

Pakistan haven't won a test in Australia in your lifetime, and haven't won two in your father's lifetime either.

They will win a couple in your mothers life time for a change, unfortunately in your fathers life time they didn't get to feast on a C Level Aussie Bowling attack without Warne or Mcgrath like India.

Conspiracy?

It's raining all right... Boundaries, from Azhar Ali's bat. Of course, rain of the wet variety is also very welcome to join us today.

I just love this thread.... :uakmal

Many of the fun posters on here have sadly stopped posting

nevermind just checked..light rain all day tomorrow, we could be off a few times and bad light could be a problem..cloudy sunday and monday. sunny on tuesday..

Stop clutching at straws even if it rains for 3 consecutive days I wouldn’t back this pathetic Pak batting line up to bat out more than 40 overs to save game!!

Need rain this time boys.
Forecast looking good for the next two days. :wahab2

Ramadhan truly is a month of blessings. Hoping the next few days are washed out. Difficult for Pakistan to salvage a positive outcome from this test match.

Think England supporters could do with a few showers :)

My friends in Dubai, UAE are enjoying some nice rain at this time. Not a great news for the game though.

Wonder which side wanting rain more now in SAvPAK?

The hypocrisy of some fans on here are ridiculous. Some fans (including myself) pray for rain every time Pakistan are up against a good team, yet the same fans are crying about Pakistan's game vs SL being rained off just because SL are a weak team. If you want rain to save you vs a good team, you have no right to start complaining when rain stops you from a likely win.

Yeah stupid fans hoping for their team to have a good tournament and go far. They should instead hope and pray for the team's demise and their rival's victory. Am I right?

Forecasted to rain in the match between BD v SL, Bristol. Hopefully it’s not as bad as Pak v SL.

If it is rain off. Then why did ECB gave Bristol any matches! Taunton is fine for that part of the country, Cardiff is near Bristol and should’ve been enough for this area. IMO Needless to give matches to this useless ground with poor drainage in Bristol.

I'm not saying that. Being annoyed that the game is rained off is fine as we definitely would have a great chance of beating SL, but the ones who are then crying and suggesting desperate ideas such as shifting the venue and not letting England host tournaments are hypocrites as they are the ones who pray that rain saves us whenever we have a hard game.

Ya Allah shower the rain upon the beautiful Pakistan.

Neeeeedddd baaarishh

:sendoff

A heavy rain dance is needed for Thursday's clash between NZ and SL in the same venue.

This will give Pak a breather against their last game against England without having to worry about NRR (just a win will do for semis).

The weather not looking good for the New Zealand vs Sri Lanka match. Important clash for 3 teams TBH includes Pakistan.

Looks like NZ-SL game may get rained out. That means Pakistan should make it to semi if they beat England.

That also means SL should be through to CT 2025 (5 points).

My prediction:

Washout happens, Afghanistan beat South Africa, Pakistan lose to England… Afghanistan scrape semi-final qualification

The remaining play on Day 1 of the 2nd test between Australia and Pakistan is feared to be washed out now as rain has got heavier. Maybe Pak supporters start this on Day 1 of the Test? LOL

England has such unpredictable weather that I think they should consider switching to covered stadiums immediately

Pakistani fans must be praying for some divine intervention now.

🌈

I don't think Pakistan will be able to defend the score. Rain Dance is the first thing they will be hoping for.

I am praying for a fair result.

Actually that’s how it should be.

It also gives Pakistan a fair chance to fight till the last moment for a win.

4th innings totals can be tricky but I see Bangladesh’s got a great start.
