I´m a couple of days late on this, but regardless.....
So as you all know, Danny Morrison has been up to his usual self and has often being spotted amidst the spectators. So this became a hit as almost everyone in the crowd has a request for him to join them there, and he has obliging them often.
So on Friday turned up a guy with the same request written on his shirt. Maybe for security reasons or whatever, Danny arranged for the guy to come upstairs into the commentary box, instead of himself going there.
He walks in and then it gets really awkward; without any proper of introduction or anything, without any "announcement", the guy proceeds to do mimicry of Inzamam-ul-Haq (Urdu-English mixed) live on air on the mic! Mel Jones has no idea what the guy is on about, neither has Danny, but somehow it was finally over when Shafiq got out (against Islamabad) I think as the commentators had to take over.
The more awkward thing is, being the chief selector, there´s every chance that poor Inzamam might´ve been watching the match!
