The Walking Dead [Use Spoiler Tags!]

Was kinda disappointed with this episode...specially how they are showing Rick to be hallucinating Lori every now and then.
With that in mind, I really want to see how merle and darryl come about and help the group, and finally appear in this show
 
Herschelle was the real star of this episode. Some great restrained acting. Oh and Andrea is a dumb blonde.

They could bring his ghost though. LOL.

Lori's ghost is annoying though. I know this was in the comics, but it is ridiculous. Takes it away from the show. We need to see more zombies now.

Andrea is quite an inpirational talker though. I see her as a future leader.

Really? I thought her speech was cheesy and lame, was very cringeworthy

Seeing the ghost is interesting and it shows that Rick is going crazy, which considering the circumstances is understandable
 
Can't believe (but expected) they let Daryl and Merle go. Those 2 are by far the best actors in the whole series. I hope they do some episodes on them

Handled bunch of panicked people, certainly was a leadership quality. Made them believe they are surviving for something big.

Yup, rick is going crazy. However it was weird how he is acting up all of a sudden in the prison.

Agreed. Also loved the way how Daryl snatched his trademark Cross-bow, when they are leaving woodbury.

Show will die with Daryl. I like Richard but Daryl is the best character on the show.

Lori was scary!

The Lori part was ...O.O
I was all alone watching at night, everyone was asleep and when the whole Lori part was going on, I seriously felt someone was watching me from outside my window. And my curtains were open -.-
 
What an awesome awesome episode 9. WOW!!!!!!!!!

Just when I thought this mid season is going no where with Glen/Maggie problem and Rick going crazy, there is something that happens which unites everyone, even bringing Merle/Darryl back. WOW!!!! Specially his entrance in that scene, with the cross bow arrow going through one of the walker, thus saving Rick.

The governer is sick, truly. He was pretending to Andrea that he won't attack or retaliate. But he eventually did. Though he planned well when attacking the prison. The thing with Zombie Van Bomb was intelligent. But I think he just woke up a giant (the group), and he will regret this attack. I dunno how one of the woodbury guys ended up on the tower.

Also, RIP Axel. His flirting with Carol was priceless. Though he turned out to be a very good guy.

Amazing episode. Can't wait for Episode #10.

Was a really lame episode but than the last scene saved it! Loved it and am ready to see a big battle now.

I think Governor's attack is probably the best thing that could have happened. Rick should now assume leadership and kick the Governor's butt. Oh and did I mention I hate Andrea even more?
 
Watched the first episode after return...it was good !!!

Darly should not have left.....I am not fan of Rick having those hallucinations

Will watch 2nd episode today....

Yeah...I used to hate his character...but how his character transformed over time has made me his fun...credit to writers too !!

What an ending to the episode. Governor is such a ____!!!
Daryl was bound to return. :D It was a bit too soon though. Loved the zombie fight on the bridge. SO needed that.
I liked the part when Merle called Glenn Chinese and Daryl corrected him, 'He's a Korean' and Merle responded with 'Whatever'. The exact same exchange happened in the first season with Daryl and Glenn. :P

I hate Andrea so much..I hate the actress's stupid facial expression as well. The 'exasperated' look she has all the time when she is sad/angry/confused/happy/mad/etc ..THE SAME GODDAMNED OVERRATED FACE THEY MAKE IN MOST AMERICAN MOVIES/SHOWS BUT SHE JUST PUSHED IT TO EXTREME!

Agree, hate Andrea. Why cant the one character that i have hated since the first season just die a horrible death. :(
 
that was a great episode, the best of the season so far. can't wait for next week. governor's awesome :inzi

She was also on Vampire Diaries with a genuine Brit accent. But I didn't know that at that time.

Anyways..The Walking Dead is seriously getting boring.

Dull episode. Reminded me of 1st half of season 2 with the primetime soap storylines.

Loved this episode

See, the thing I think sets the Walking Dead apart from other shows is the focus on character development whereas the "action" is just an icing on the cake. The last few episodes haven't really been focused on the characters and this episode was so refreshing. IMO, this was one of the best episodes of the series even though nothing happened.

Andrew Lincoln and the guy who plays Morgan have THE BEST chemistry on this show. Period. Funny thing is, they've only had 2 episodes between them.

Nothing too "drastic" happened in this episode but I expect things will pick up in next week with the confrontation between the Gov and Mista Grimes.

On a related note, I have to think Andrew Lincoln has to get some Golden Globe considerations after that scene with Morgan and the walkie. Absolutely hair-raising.

Definitely the best episode of the series so far (best in 3 years). Absolutely loved it!!!!
 
By far the best episode of the season....The acting can't get better than this.....
 
If you like the Zombie genre, I seriously recommend this movie.

It gave birth to the Zombie genre. Without it, no Walking Dead comic, no Walking Dead tv series, hell no flesh eating zombie genre. A seriously awesome movie. Followed by a masterpiece Dawn of the Dead and then movies of decreasing quality(Although Day of the Dead is a classic in its own right).

A story goes that there used to be no censorship then. No MPAA ratings. So, kids used to watch horror movies and have a "good" scary time. Kids as usual sneaked in to watch this thinking it was just another horror movie and a girl was reportedly absolutely weeping while watching this movie.

Also, features a brutal ending.

It's in public domain and is available for free on various sites.

Got to admit English actors are usually very impressive, rarely disappointing. :hughlaurie
 
England produces so many brilliant TV actors. HBO shows in particular are full of them.

Btw that last episode should of been titled 'Filler'

Poor episode. Governor storyline is being dragged out too long now.

Last episode was a little slow but I think it is the silence before the storm.
Loved the "victory smoke" after killing some walkers. Also showed there are personal story and soft side to everyone (except the governer).
 
I like the character of Milton a lot. I hope he joins the Rick crew and Andrea can be the one who dies a horrible death
 
Like the way things have went in last episode, Prey. It's boiling up nicely for the last two episodes for this season. :23:

I will miss both those episodes as I am going on vacation :(:(:(:(
once I come back on April 2nd, I will download the last two and watch :popcorn
