It's hard to sleep.
I find it hard to sleep on a plane and I hate the toilets. I fly in economy and the toilets are tiny and people Q up outside. I tend not to eat much before flying and make sure that I use the toilets at home/ hotel or airport.
kids crying
some jahils don't know how to use toilet
I try to fly at night so your body is naturally ready for sleep. Also use eye masks and ear buds with soft pillows. Eat before flying and try to get the window seat.
Here's a few from personal experience:
Passengers shouting over at friends across the plane, some idiots refusing to sit down. Some people refusing to wear seat belts even when the signs come up, drunken fools who shouldn't even be allowed on the plane.
I'm thinking about visiting Pakistan in a couple years, what airline would you guys recommend? I usually fly gulf based airlines like emirates and Qatar but the planes smell like spices, do a lot of Indians travel on Turkish airlines? If not, I might fly Turkish.
People here like to plan ahead that might be foreign to you cause you fresh lol. The smell actually is really strong, it's really uncomfortable and nauseous if you're not used to the odor. No offense to anybody here, but it really is an issue with the people I've spoken to and have experienced it myself last time I travelled.Traveling in a couple of years and you're already planning for it? That's impressive!
Dunno why people are complaining about spices. Spicy smell is always better than terrible smell of chicken / fish / other meats, which is quite common is most airlines I fly.
You can't avoid the Indians whichever airline you fly, so get used to it!
Back on main topic, surely being jet lagged has got to be the biggest problem with long haul flights? Surprised no one's mentioned it.

I always fly business or first class and my experiences have never been anything short of spectacular. Emirates offers the best business class there is even though Qatar is not far behind. Frankly, even PIA has a nice business class environment. I dish travel economy once recently because that was the only ticket available and honestly I don't understand that the fuss is all about. As long as you have leg room, you should be OK.
What is the difference between first and business (asides from the isolated seat in first)
have done business multiple times but i always stop from coughing up the extra dough for first

I travelled on Turkish Airlines and found it amazing. There were no Indians but yet again I was flying to Istanbul.
