What is Haris Sohail and IK doing there? Arent they in the test squad?

No Babar Azam and Hammad Azam..
They have probleme with good players or with Azam's?
 
Didn't Haris, Ehsan and Imran get replaced? Is it a smaller squad now. Should send in replacements IMO
 
They should add Akmal to the squad. Will give him much needed match practice
 
Harris sohail, ehsan adil and imran khan are in test squad so babar azam, syed imad wasim and anwar ali are the replacements.
 
Babar azam was in UAE so he is playing while anwar ali and syed imad wasim just left last night from pakistan.
 
Sharjee khan and sami aslam failed. We should have brough babar azam to open with fakhar zaman.

Pak A might lose this, they've lost quite a few wickets and they do seem to have a longish tail.
 
In the morning cricinfo had shown some UAE Player ahmed raza in anwar ali's place, now anwar is there
 
Bismillah is yet to come, he is very good batsman. He will be a 6 and then anwar at 7
 
What the hell, bismillah khan is an top order batsman and anwar comes before him.

Its because he is from balouchistan, he is a fighter. He won a match for balouchistan against a very strong sind side.

He has such a poor domestic record, that I would take Mohammed Salman over him!

Could have given M. Rizwan or Rehan Afridi a go instead, such a waste of space.
 
Hahaha are you serious mohammad salman, the guy doesnt know how to hold the willow.
you know according to talent in both batting and bowling, wicket keepers in pakistan are as:-
Ali asad> sarfaraz ahmed> mohammad rizwan> bismillah khan> zulkarnain haider> rehan afridi> adnan akmal > .....> mohammad salman.

Sami Aslam and Sohaib Maqsood and Anwar Ali are the biggest culprit.
Sohaib Maqsood played more than 10 overs yet only score 35 runs at the strike rate of 55 :facepalm:
 
Win or lose. I'm just glad that youngsters are getting some exposure at the international level.
 
ANDRI BERENGER ? *** so this is where he has been. Played for SL U-19 in 2010 WC. He had sweet timing, was stylish and nice to watch him bat. He disappeared after playing couple of FC matches. Looks like he moved to UAE. This guy hit the best six in the that tournament. Oh well, congrats UAE
 
Bhatti getting hammered by UAE. This guy is a shocking cricketer.

How on earth did he manage to become a pro let alone play at the highest level is beyond me.

Same can be said about Anwar Ali, but he's still a top athlete but I think he should have chosen a different sport because his cricketing skills are zero.

bro his doosra was banned, he isnt allowed to bowl that, ICC cleared him for his off breaks hence he was playing today, this is a match where you have an ICC referee and played at the ICC academy. Poor chap has been developing a carrom ball
 
Pathetic selection yaar - Anwar Ali at 6!!! This team 'll struggle to beat Nepal.

As usual, PAK maintained the strategy of playing best player lower - why on earth should Babar Azam bat at 5 I don't know. Also, there was absolutely no point playing Sarjeel, Maqsood & Anwar in these matches. Sarjeel is already tested out & Maqsood is a certainty for XV at least, even Raza I am not sure - he should be regular for Nationals. Also, what Jamshed 'll achieve from these matches - he should play in domestics & pile up big scores, at least give a try. When you are out of from, List A isn't the best place to regain that. & playing Bhatti in UAE (In fact 5 seamers) is utter nonsense. Overall, after 5 matches, it 'll only create confusion because, I believe in one of the matches Sarjeel is going to blast.

I thought these 5 matches could be a very good testing ground for some unknown players. I would have played the following team

Sami Aslam/Zain Abbas
Bismillah Khan/Rizwan (WK)
Fakhar Zaman
Babar Azam (C)
Saad Ali
Adil Amin
Hammad Azam/Ali Khan
Jafar Gohar/Emad Wasim
Ehsan Adil/Sadaf Hussain

Zahid Mahmood/Shahzaib Ahmed


No body could give me any clue of the boy Saad Ali - he looks genuine 21 & averages 40 in FC, 80!!!!!!!! (at 85 SR) in List A & he is a Left Hander.

I doubt a 70 vs UAE will help regain his so called form.
Nasir Jamshed is not international level, those centuries he made were against a weak Indian attack on flat pitches, that was his top form, and the 97 vs AU was a one off, I doubt he'll ever be there again.
