The reality of India, particularly in the rural parts, is that the Congress is associated with the Gandhi family. You take away that in one shot and the Congress will fade away. Though no Gandhi has been PM or even minister for decades, they are the campaign face. People might not be voting for them too much, but if they have to move out of the scene, it will have to be a slow one.

There's a reason the BJP invest so much time and effort on someone who is just a pappu according to them. They know the potential


I don't think Rahul Gandhi is going anywhere, anytime soon. Might as well get used to it
