Alhamdulillah brother, wholeheartedly agree with you.
I hope he scores runs against Pakistan but Australia lose, so that we win the match but his average is not disturbed.
Usman bhai is a role-model for us.
This Sunday, you're on a roll.)
Too much free time?![]()
Congratulations Australia and Australian fans.
Your fanbase is just going to get tripled in the near future.
This is why we dropped Finch

Sachin wishes he had his technique.
dear, smart cookie, As the title says, "Oversees Pakistani" hence your say sarcasm was pretty howler.![]()
What sarcasm? Perhaps you are unaware that we pray for the likes of Amla bhai and Moeen bhai to perform against us so that their averages aren't affected. Why should Usman bhai be treated differently?

Mohsin Khan once said to me that Khawaja wouldn't have played for Pakistan as he wasn't good enough.
He might not survive the turning tracks in subcontinent; who knows?
Certainly seems to have grown an extra leg recently.

He plays spin like the typical modern Australian batsman.
Has also historically been bogged down and unable to rotate the strike against quality fast bowlers. Which has put big pressure on him and his batting partner.
He plays fluent and free flowing shots. Tbh, his style is a bit similar to Lara's. Sometimes goes too hard at the ball (maybe because of the format today) and looks a bit vulnerable to spin.

What does that mean.
It is quite sad that Pakistanis are now in awe and all hyped over a batsman of Pakistani origin playing for another country. This tells me Pakistan as a nation is looking for a superstar batsmen and the fact that they cant find one is leading them to overly admire Pakistanis who play for other nations. I hope that a Pakistani superstar batsmen will come of age and he dominates batting charts and bowlers from all over, Pakistan truly deserves one.
Ashwin's gonna eat him for breakfast (literally, in the morning sessions) in India
I loved the way, how you used overseas Pakistani)
Will see how much overseas Pakistani he is when he smashes daddy hundreds against Pakistan next year.

Damn, never knew he is Adam Khoor![]()
He is neither a Pakistani nor Overseas Pakistani.
He is an Aussie and a product of Cricket Australia.
I typed this before I realised to check it. Yes he is a overseas Pakistani but truly and surely product of Cricket Australia and an Aussie.
It would be interesting if next year he plays for islamabad United in PSL edition 2 but Cricket Australia won't allow him. This year too they did not give NOC to any Aussie cricketer for PSL.
He is born in islamabad Pakistan
Does anybody know whether he holds a Pakistani ID Card and Passport ? Well he is entitled to both of them.
Why give NOC for IPL and not PSL or other leagues? Seems little shady.
He isnt Pakistani so stop that . If he was playing in Pakistan he would be out of team after few matches and every one would call him ****** etc etc. Remember how bad he played when in his first matches for Australia but since Australia has the best domestic system he managed to come back and doing great.
We have talent but we dont know how to polish that talent. And our public and media is most pathice i have seen.
He is NOT overseas Pakistani, He is an Aussie. Getting tired of this Bhai culture.
He is an oversea Pakistani since he was born in Pakistan unless he gave up Pakistan's citizehip which is unlikely. However like talentspotterpk said he is a product of Australian cricket, plays for Australia, his failures and successes are attributed to cricket Australia. But said that, I am very happy that an oversea Pakistani is making headlines for the right reason.
As an oversea Pakistan I have witnessed myself oversea Pakistani staying aloof, not integerating with local population, so Khwaja is a welcome change. I would rather have oversea Pakistanis taking up local sports and integerating in the society instead of becoming religious, living in their own world. I have seen Indians praising oversea Indians when they become CEOs of yahoo and Microsoft, so this is not uncommon in third world countries.
Yes there are people who go overboard but you will have these people in every society. Loving or hating someone just because of beard is ridiculous, however there is nothing wrong in wishing an oversea Pakistanis a successful career.
Too often we are given credit for horrible news so there is nothing wrong in getting a tad excited if a oversea Pakistani does well.

We? I thought only one poster(Bilal7) said that and you make it sound like every Pakistani shares his view. Has any other poster claimed that they want Amla to do well against Pakistan?

I have never seen someone so obsessed with someone on forum like Mamoon is with Bilal7. He keeps mentioning him in every thread. Hates payers, teams he like. Generalize every Pakistani based on his opinions. His obsession with Bilal7 is unbelievable.
As many here would testify, it is a two-way street.
well tbh I haven't seen him quoting you or referring to you as much as you do.
I can recall 2/3 who agreed with him in that particular thread, and many other people in general do have an obsession with Amla. Have noticed this in real life too, not just PakPassion. Can only speak from my experience, maybe you haven't noticed it.
That is not the case. We both look out for each other's posts in every thread.
Good question.
Australia , England & India are Big 3.
Because IPL is tw richest league and Cricket Australia earns alot from series with India so they don't say no to IPL and Aussie cricketers get a fat check too.
Than it is cricket Australia's policy that they want there contracted players to play in BigBash league. And to some who aren't part of central contract they give them NOC to play for T20 league under ECB of Big 3.
If they give NOC to their players for PSL , CPL , BPL and Ramslam than there players would be worn out and their international cricket will be affected so IPL is there 1st go to league (for contracted) and ECB T20 blast is their second priority for non contracted players. This way BCCI & ECB both are happy.
Because right now they have shield cricket going on. They want their players to play domestic cricket and improve their technique. Plus they would be playing against NZ in NZ and Khwaja is a member of that squad. When IPL Dtargs Australia's cricket season is already over so players and CA makes them available for the IPL.
PSL is right after BBL. If players can play in the BBL they can play in a short league like PSL. I think it's a money issue, but that might not be 100% the case as even the non-contracted players are not available.
no, the shield cricket is still going on. Shield cricket is Australia's four day tournament.
This best batsman i have ever seen, his techniques, so good to hear the world praise him, mashAllah this boy is a superstar
Take a step backwards.
Khawaja missed Australia's only international match this summer on a sporting track against a good attack - at Adelaide against New Zealand.
All of his runs have been scored on easy batting tracks against substandard attacks.
He is NOT overseas Pakistani, He is an Aussie. Getting tired of this Bhai culture.
Khawaja was born in Islamabad, Pakistan, and his family emigrated to New South Wales when he was a child. He became the first Muslim cricketer to represent Australia when he made his debut in the 2010–11 Ashes series. He is a qualified commercial and instrument rated pilot, completing a bachelor's degree in Aviation from the University of New South Wales before he made his test debut. He attained his basic pilot licence before his driving licence.[20] He was educated at Westfields Sports High School.

well I'll say what what I see.
