[VIDEO] Abdul Razzaq "The only way Mickey Arthur will leave Pak coaching job is when he passes away"

Poor comments by Abdul Razzaq. This is why education is must. Media nowadays make sure that they invite someone who can talk rubbish which will increase their TRP.

Yousuf, Younus, Akhtar, Razzaq, Malik, Afridi. All of these now ex cricketers have egos bigger than the game. 2007-2012 are the years filled with their performances off the field until Misbah took over. Even then Younus forced his way in 2015 WC squad and then Malik was again forced onto the team in 2019.

I'd take any comment from them with a pinch of salt as however smart they may be, their ego will never allow them to speak their mind.

Malik is the probably the only player with the least ego issue. He was dropped, said nothing and went back to domestic. It has been on and off. He didn't complain about being dropped nor he exposed the seniors' theatric drama such as Younus, Yousuf and Afridi who were main troublemaker back then. He was out of team for like years and he made comeback through the consistent performance in international leagues for years while those seniors felt too degrading for going back to domestic to prove their worth again.

Misbah threatened to burn down the bat kits and everything after he was dropped. Luckily for him, spot fixing opened the door for him straight to the stable captaincy and the position. After that, he has been less dramatic which was exactly what Pakistan cricket needed back then.

Some of seniors are in television show doing as they have been doing at Pakistan dressing rooms for years. Nothing new here.

Pandya should take him in and teach some manners. It will be free of cost, Razzaq.

Terrible. Arthur is a great coach. The best we've had. Hope he stays. He really enjoys coaching Pakistan.

He’s a terrible coach. I’d also enjoy opening the bowling for Pakistan but that shouldn’t be only criteria for getting that gig.

If he really was genuine with Pakistan, Arthur wouldn’t look for every opportunity to make a quick buck and hold multiple Jobs like Karachi King in psl

News today that he will be retained....

If you take the literal meaning, it’s seriously offensive. But I think it’s more like a casual remark some hot heads use when they’re very angry/frustrated. The guy just doesn’t have the education or the common sense to know such things shouldn’t be said on TV.

I think this has touched a nerve because of Woolmer. It's incredibly distasteful.

Woolmer passed away after a WC defeat and now this clown is talking about death/Mickey Arthur after a WC defeat.

Yeah I agree it does. That’s why I said we shouldn’t read too much into that remark. He just said something stupid (and deplorable) in the heat of the moment.

Seems Abdul Razzaq is not the only one with an odd sense of analysis....

Majority of our cricketers (even present ones) have almost zero personalities, so I am not surprised at all.

Disgusting comment, how do they get away with such comments? Make him accountable for saying such a disgusting thing!

Ignorant jahil uneducated buffoons we got plenty in our cricket structure. Verbal diarrhea that they go through because of their little egos only ruins Pakistan's image.

No coach for PK has been successful- fans can't wait for them to leave. Him leaving will not make a difference either way because the whole coaching thing at that level is overrated. Nobody has a magic wand, and it was the same with Dav etc

No wonder our teams of the 90s and 2000s didn't achieve much despite having talented players, because all the players had/have paindu mentality. Education makes a massive difference in one's outlook on life. Going forward I wish there will be a time where minimum cricketers would have an undergrad degree so that these jahil unparhs don't make it to the side.

Education off season should be looked at but ain't happening.

There is a reason why US is soooooooooooooooooo successful in any sport that they take up. It's because players are only drafted from their universities and you have to do well at the varsity level to stand a chance of getting into the professional leagues. It's very hard to make it to sports professionally in the US if you are not drafted from a university. Education makes a huge difference in a quality of a player.

Also these geo analysts are really stupid. Not one constructive arguments raised. All they talk about is conspiracy and politics. Pathetic time waste.

And to think some people take Jang publications seriously. I've always maintained that they've been tabloid junk since the beginning. They provide nothing constructive towards Pakistan's media other than promote conspiracy theories and distrust.

That being said, Abdul Razzaq is just showing us his upbringing. Most of the players from the early 2000s were just this...uneducated, paindus.

Well Saj does have quite a large cricket following on Twitter. Might I suggest tagging Abdul Razzaq and calling him out on this stupidity?

This is normal talk in Pakistani households. Of course he doesn't mean it but is saying Mickey has no intentions of leaving the job.

Instead of discussing cricket we see threads of soundbites so posters can abuse players.

If you have any knowledge of the game you dont need to watch these news channels.
