"Make sure you use vats". That never crossed my mind lol. In all seriousness normal shotting is much improved inf allout 4. In fallout 3 it was nearly impossible to kill someone without vats. It certainly wasnt much fun.

I know. But if you picked up Fallout 4 as your first fallout game, there is a very high chance you are playing it as an FPS without even knowing VATS exists!

The power armors your get in the beginning are nothing to write back home about. The moment they get damaged - which is pretty often - you have to head back to the workshop and repair them. But you do need some sort of armor, and in the beginning, most of the armor is flimsy. If you play in the survival mode, you run into a lot of 'legendary' enemies, who drop pretty cool and rare items, incl. special armor.

Once you get the X01 power armor though, and you are good with VATS and FPS gameplay, you become nearly invincible. You can mod it to use a helmet that tags all the bad guys on your screen. There is also a jetpack mod that lets you jet off to higher elevations. This thing does burn fusion cores like no tomorrow. And slows you down a bit.

Cool! Something to look forward to. Playing the game on normal, so see legendary enemies only once in a while. Maybe once i have better weapons and perks I'll upgrade.

If you have played FC3 you will enjoy FC4. Gameplay is exactly the same as FC3and the story line is decent as well. I would recommend it over Syndicate. Since it's lder you'll probably get it cheaper as well.

I was thoroughly disappointed by Assassins Creed Unity, so I didn't get Syndicate. But many first hand reviews say it's a lot better than Unity.

They are both Ubisoft games so bear in mind, they will be flawed one way or another.

Got FAR CRY 4. It feels like watching a brown movie, hearing thick brown accents and brown songs.

You should def try it out.. I think its just amazing in terms of replayability.. Have only finished like 8% of the game, and already spent close to 45 hours on it. Even repeating the missions is so darn fun!

What's your take on the game?

In my opinion one is for sure, it's definitely way much better than Ghosts and AW, which were by far the worst COD games I've played. From what I could gather so far, I think that the environment and coloration resemble the one I've witnessed in BO2, whereas the weapon gameplay and sound effects do have similarities with the ones in BO1.

Will need a bit more time, to give my final judgement on the game. But I think from the looks of it, it seems to be on a good way, to iron out the stricken reputation, the COD series had of late.

The truth is that it was just a rumour. Rockstar was working on Agent but now they are working on GTA V online cause they are milking money on the online stuff. I can't believe people are paying more money after they have purchased the game. Kids now a days are going straight to online without enjoying the story missions. Same goes here, i expected them to dish out like a story DLC every year but the amount of money they are making from Shark Cards, buying Yachts, Jets and all that BS is bringing them money, so they aren't bothered with the story DLC. San Andreas had 100 missions, GTA 5 only had 60 something. Hate this new era.

Any suggestions for video games?

I've been playing DBC14 and FIFA 16, only to get frustrated time and time again playing online (at-least in FIFA anyway). Dunno what it is, but in FIFA I can easily match World-Class but can't get promoted in Division 10.

I've tried games like LBP3 and Minecraft on PS4 but they haven't been as good as LBP1 or Minecraft (PC).

I've completed Dragon Ball Xenoverse and I don't really find the PVP system very fun so it's just there.

The genre's I prefer are:

It wouldn't hurt trying out some JRPG's, they're a pretty good genre if you think about it. But as for platformers, there's a game called "Yuka laylee" which is a huge throwback to banjo kazooie

Might get a Wii U because my 3DS XL broke and I want to replace it but 3DS XL's are pretty useless now with the New 3DS but that one is too expensive, I know I can find Wii U's for about £115-120.

Yeah they're quite good I guess but I'm hopeless when it comes to RPGs in general so I'm not the one to get the best out of them. I struggled a lot on normal mode in Fire Emblem Awakening near the end. Now my 3DS is dead so I might get a Wii U.

If you want FPS get all three of Battlefield 1, Doom and Titanfall 2 but if you can just get 1 then I would say get Battlefield 1 if you just want multiplayer, get Titanfal 2 if you want a good single player and good multiplayer and get Doom if you want an amazing single player. It doesn't matter what type of gamer you are, two ps4 games that you must buy are Witcher 3 and Uncharted 4 (Two of the best games of the generation so far and Witcher 3 is one of the greatest games of all time.) After that you can buy the other great games that aren't quite on the level of these 2 like Arkham knight, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, Rise of The Tomb Raider etc.

aliasad am familiar with uncharted have always wanted to play it, have not played the previous titles though. Don't know what witcher is about, anyhow am going to avoid games like arkham knight, uncharted and witcher because they seem to be titles which you need to spend considerable amount of time and being at uni I'd only have time for games you sought up pick up and play without having to keep up with the plot etc that's why have been short listing FPS, fighting and racing titles

Sulhi bhai I've played DriveClub at me friends house, it's a pretty cool game dude but seems old news wasn't it one of the launch titles? Am looking to get Dirt Rally now, man I use to love Forza I'd be tempted to buy an xbox just for that game but have settled for a PS4 as I think it's the superior console. In Forza I had a BMW M5 which I painted green with the star and crescent on the bonnet and roof, the mods they allowed were awesome.

Hope to get a console on black friday next week, thus far have bought GTA V was for £23 at Tesco but with a couple of clubcard vouchers got it down to 18.50 which is a steal. Also bought Trackmania Turbo for about 17.

True, but I suggest watching the gameplay videos, they'll give you a much better idea than trailers. Trailers can be misleading at times. You can make up your mind as to which game you'll like better.

Titanfall 2 is unique with its alternate world. Hopefully there's a good deal with Battlefield in a console bundle, most the bundles come with the jobber Infinity Warfare

Nah, playing Mafia for now. I prefer third-person shooters over first-person shooters.
