Fun or disrespectful? :hasanali

Hahaha, what a champ. Hassan has a lot of swag. More power to him.

Would've been funny if he got an injury doing that. It is becoming bore .

Childish ... Not to involve in such theatrics being a pro cricketer.

That's the product of lack of education or common sense to behave as national ambassador

Errrr......We live in a free country where he can do whatever he wants! (As long as they are within the bounds of legality).

Funny how a celebration is causing so much agony across the border :)) :))

#GeneratorMan :ma

If Gautam Ghambir pulled a stunt like that, rest assured the opinion of Pak posters here would be quite different! :sendoff

But that's because that's not Gautam Ghambir's celebration that he always does.

Anyways, this looked like it was done for fun.

Bro ... Just gave my opinion, why getting emotional. I guess many sensible posters from Pak will not entertain child like behaviour from elite national player at border

hmm....in polarized times, every act or word has the potential to be magnified or misunderstood.
I can see it as being fun but I can also see it as being disrespectful. In general i am uncomfortable with sportsmen wrapping themselves up in the military

A bit of Shawn Michaels Montreal heel promo here shaz619

That's what I meant. Kohli in this regard handles Ind vs Pak sensitive matters diplomatically correct.. recent one Kohli response to :afridi tweet ...

Lets be honest here, Pakistan have got a serious upper hand on the Indp-Pak cricket rivalry these days because of the heavy victory in the champions trophy! These guys are going to milk it for a very, very long time

Brilliant. Anyone getting upset is doing a fabulous job of reading into non-issues.

i agree with ahmedwaqas92

hamara desh hamari Marzi :ma:ma

Bro ...he is not doing the act inside Pak, he is doing at Wag Border.

With all the history behind ... thats pure childish to come from elite proffessional player. May be some media guy forced him to get some TRP. May not be Hassan's fault fully.

Why is this getting blown out of proportion? It's a non-issue....How exactly did he mock the indian army? He just marched and did his celebration. If he made faces at them or said something, that would be different.

It's a free country so let him do what he wants as long as he's not hurting people

Seems like a harmless triple H style celebration to me. Good for him and fans who thinks that celebration with that small body frame is mocking armymen.

And the rivalry should remain inside the cricket ground and the players should be careful that their actions do not spill over into the military arena.

If what Hassan Ali just did calls for WW3, then God save humanity

I think this is all in fun but i can understand Indian posters reactions.

Enjoy bro ... If you like such stuff.

India celebrates the actions of a captain who took of his shirt on the lords balcony and waved it around like a lunatic. Every occasion and place has its manners at the end of the day

It was just all in good fun, don't know how a simple celebration can trigger people.

Bro it was reciprocating response to Flintoff one in Bangalore Test.

As I said, enjoy your hero unprovoked celebration at border #cheers

:salute respect to Azhar Ali :19:

We can do whatever we want within our borders. He is not harming anyone, Infact it seems the celebration is more directed towards the Indian audience stands rather than the Army personnel. But leave it to Indians to throw their toys out of the pram at every opportunity.

Thank you Mr.Jinnah

It was unprofessional. These types of weired acts aren't expected from any professional cricketers.

Anyways I dont think he would have done this if Pakistan had lost the final last june. Clearly wants to keep the domination going.

The Devastation of the Oval continues.

To all Pak fans , a serious question

Dont you guys think Hasan's celebration is becoming very boring? I know it is his trademark but still

And Pakistani poster harp about keeping politics and cricket separate. This was utter crass display by a professional sportsperson. If sports are meant to o bridge a divide , Hasan Ali should be chucked out. If all is fair, than Pakistani posters should not cry about India not playing them. The shameless hypocrisy of certain posters is out on full display.

If what happens every single day at Wagah with soldiers on both sides posturing and participating in a highly exaggerated gate closing ceremony isn't taunting or disrespectful, then neither is what Hasan did.

Feels like the whole point of the Wagah gate closing ceremony is theatrics.

Have a look at the Azhar Ali tweet before doing the 'toys outta pram' dance here. Also understand that after these ceremonies, pak and Indian soldiers usually have a nice cuppa.

nothing wrong with the celebration.i am against what afridi and Gautaum say though.

2023 WC final at Mumbai. Would be a dream to see Hassan celebrating like this when taking the final wicket of the game!

Yeah maybe Hasan should follow your favorite cricketer and show middle finger to the crowd?

Nope he shouldn't. But he's much more mature now. We shouldn't justify one bad behaviour by citing example of another bad one. Both r wrong.

Just imagine Tendulkar doing the stuff that hasan did today. How would he look?

As long as he keeps taking wickets i'm fine with the celebration.

I don't think it would be much credit to take the first wicket of India when later India chase Pak score of 150 with the loss of that solitary wicket.

I got bored a long ago. Now I usually get agitated every time I see him doing that.

He should find out something new.

Idk what Hasan did is so offensive. Being a Bangladeshi you probably don't know what happens at the flag lowering ceremony at wagah every. single. day.

I suggest maybe you watch that on YouTube first and then you will know the context.

Ha has not been to that level thats why we dont mind it.Let him play for few years he will change.it is just adrenaline which makes u like this.
And again if it was just for mocking then no way it is justified but i am sure many indians would have enjoyed it as it was for fun.

When Tendulkar didnt bother to congratulate the Pakistani team after the thumping India received on the final at the oval, he pretty much showed his feelings towards the Pakistani public. Hes diplomatic and boring, thats his choice.

He is a Pakistani cricketer who does it for Pakistani fans. Your liking or disliking it has absolutely no effect.

He does not know that people across the border shake hands at the end of the cermony and its just fun nothing else.

Off Topic
Change your name Wenger is Out now :)
Happiest day as Gooner for me

No worries, he'll get a phainty of his lifetime in the next world cup at the hands of kohli and co. He's be smacked so hard he'll forget how to do that celeberation

Not a fan of these kind of celebrations, but his action, what else can be said.

Well Hassan, along with Amir, already did that to India in the finals. Kohli out 2 times in 2 bowls (people won't forget that one), Sharma-duck, and Dhoni out-bowled Hassan. Lets see how India replies.

That's disgusting from Hasan Ali. Someone really needs to put him in his place as a flash-in-the-pan mediocrity.

Why should have he congratulated Pakistan? U r making no sense.

Was he a player of the team that lost the final? If he was actually in the playing 11 and refused to shake hands with pak players after the end of the match, ur point would've made sense.

But why should it be a big news if a retired cricketer from another country don't congratulate the CT winner.

Kid's just having fun. Nothing wrong with it. Only hope rabid media and fans won't climb all over it with sanctimonious admonishment.

Someone needs to put this guy into his place. Unprofessional to the core.

Finally a sane voice from across the fence

Actually he's a good bowler. But he should learn how to behave professionally on and off the field. He's setting up a bad precedent here.

Cricket needs to remain separate from this type of stuff, posters supporting here him will lecture BCCI and Indian posters to do not mix cricket and politics. Hypocrisy.
