So Surya pulled off a Afg here where he decided to bring Pehalgam and gave a dedication to them from this win. Mind you, this is the same country that went crazy when Afridi gave dedication to Kashmir.

Pakistani captain didnt show up for the post match conference.

Surya has every right to dedicate the win to whoever he wants now that his team has won. If Pakistan wants to dedicate a victory against India to anyone, they should atleast win a game against India first, no point in crying or sulking about what the Indians are saying or doing when you are not in the same league as them on and off the field.

SKY was probably trying to inspire Indian armed forces after they got owned during Operation Tandoor. Losing 5-7 jets was very demoralizing I guess. :inti

Yeah, a leaf out of Shahid Afridi playbook. Have no problem with that statement, but definitely not shaking hands is unwarranted.
 
The fact that a captain simply dedicating a win to the victims of a cowardly terrorist attack is hurting people here this much tells a whole story about the mindset and the level of depravity you guys are filled with...goddamn.

Also @Major always has this habit of creating all these coping mechanism threads with teary eyes whenever days like this happen.. so it could be just that...a coping mechanism.

1) Why did Indian armed forces lost in 2019 and 2025 to Pakistan? India lost 5-8 jets combined during these two conflicts.

2) Why did Abhinandan enjoy fantastic tea?

3) Where is Shivangi Singh?

4) Why did India concede 38,000 sq km of territory to China?

Indian armed forces lost every single conflict over the past 10 years. These are all facts. :inti

At least its not bombs, and jets worth hundreds of millions. Pakistani players deserver this humiliation. Played like total beghairats.

You see this game was good for your guys mental health. After the constant torture you guys suffered after your jets were shot down and then the ensuing diplomatic disasters. I believe this is a good reprieve and a rather healthy way to release some stress and cope. Love it for you. Our cricket team is a constant disappointment. Cannot send Pakistan Airforce to play cricket. 🤷‍♂️

Well said. Pakistan can’t continue to assemble a trash team and lose to India while expecting the Indians to be gracious winners. Best way to shut up a country with a 1000 year chip on their shoulders is to win. Simple as that. Losers don’t get to dictate anything in the real world. Pakistan has to learn to win.

Bhai, if Surya was dedicating wins to Pehalgam or Indian Army from operation Sindoor, he would had done so in the match against the UAE match.

He choose to say those words against Pakistan, because he indirectly claimed Pakistan did it.

Now you can pretend and defend him as a Pakistani, he just insulted our nation by saying those words in the post match presentation

India have played lots of cricket post the Pahalgam attack and after the subsequent defeat of their armed forces.

This is the first time they have dedicated to the victims.

You are being unnecessarily gracious to Sky, it's quite obvious why he said what he did on this occasion.

If Pakistan has no role in the attack, why get triggered? Just ignore what Surya said, and no one will remember what he said in two days. By giving it air time, we are only accepting that we perpetuated it.

Just ignore? How can one ignore an allegation being made by an opposition captain? These allegations are not small allegations.

ICC made a fuss when Moeen or Usman wanted to talk about Gaza, so offcourse many of us would be interested in seeing what ICC will do here (even though we know the result).

It was an insult towards Pakistan, so it cannot be ignored.

I dont think any captain of any nation has made such statements in the past

He’s just making himself feel better. The guy is as sensitive as they come.

He tries to downplay Pakistan in his mind. Beat them down right before a contest so that he doesn’t feel bad when they lose.

It’s like that scared nerdy kid in the class who, after every exam, would say that “I flunked it” only to go on and score well. His posts are mainly for himself where is just trying to lessen the pain of Pak losing.
