Why is he being arrested? She attacked first. So much for equality.

Tbf - She did hold her ground though, think would have downed him in a no holds bar contest.

In the sub-continent the chips are stacked against the woman. If you don’t take action against a Buffon attacking a woman you are basically condoning that behaviour. If he had a grudge he should have approached the cops not attack her. Also this debate is for equal rights for Muslim women. And guys like him are working overtime to ensure they don’t get their rights. No sympathies for him

Neither do I have any sympathy for him nor do I know the background of the whole drama (he most probably deserved it) but my point was she was the one who hit him first.
 
Reminds of the whole "How can she slap" saga. Poor guy really did get a phainty in the end though.

Bhai I have not implied you were sympathising with him. I was providing the background besides pointing out how we talk about equality in front of the law but these men refuse to grant women the same status in the societies they control.
 
This is why the ummah is pathetically weak today.

Too many men not self assured in their masculinity.

If you need to beat up a woman, you've already lost the fight.

To be honest, if any woman hits a man first, she deserves to be treated equally.

You do not put your hands on someone when engaged in a discussion.

Yeah Ummah will become Stronger if Muslim Men start getting slapped and beaten by women and don't reply back.

So Ummah will get stronger by beating uo women? There were women who threw trash at the Prophet Muhammad and lay thorns on his doorway yet he didn't say anything, never mind these 2 aanay kay mullay. No wonder they are flourishing and spreading intolerance due to the likes of you.

I narrated this hadith to a bangladeshi friend of mine.. he said it is a very weak hadith, and although not harmful, shouldn't be propagated.
 
what else you expect from circus Debates from zee news held by their over aggressive anchors.

That said being a maulana he should have been bit more tolerant towards women and if debate is going no where then he should have left the show mid way. Viewers must be thinking every maulana is like this which is pretty sad.

Religious groups should stay away from debates like this.channels deliberately invites maulanas or saints to spice up their debates.
 
What was the background to this fight? It seems to me the woman's opinion on something really irked the maulana & he stood up & started shouting at her with aggressive body language which prompted her to slap him. Seems fair to me, you wanna act like a thug in discussion, you deserve to get slapped.
 
I remember one other video too when some hindu baba got thrashed by a woman. Is this normal occurence on indian tv?
 
This is the face of AIMPLB. Tgis ngo has hijacked the muslim issues and propogates regressive ideologies.

Its affidavit to the SC in the triple talaq case showed its mentality.

Now that supreme court is hearing the cases againist polygamy and nikah halala they are seeing their patrchial dominance going away. Thats the frustration.

They even want to open sharia courts in India.They have no idea what they are doing.
 
I just watched anchorman 2 and this would fit perfectly when they decide to make anchorman 3.
 
So some bearded bloke acts this way and the whole ummah is being questioned lol.

The man was charged rightly so as he wasn't using self defence but trying to retaliate and attack, although it was pretty pathetic, she knows how to block shots fired at her.

But was the woman charged too? Im not sure about Indian law but both are liable for assault charges.

The women started it , and people are not bothered about that . That tells the whole story.
 
From a simple equality point of view the man technically didn't do anything wrong, he could just claim self defense.

But seriously what kind of maulana saab is this? Even I wouldn't have hit her back and I'm just an average Muslim kid, surely he knows Islam preaches tolerance?

In these situations men lose out. I've seen videos worse than these, where a woman is literally striking a man multiple times, and nobody cares, but the second he fights back he's a "woman beater" and a "pathetic excuse for a man"

Self defence is using reasonable force to defend yourself, not by retaliating in a continued physical attack.

If you fight like he does, it's best to take a slap which would be less embarrasing.

That guy Ravi bhatia played Salim in jodha Akbar serial and went on to become famous, while those who slapped him and that b... Tch girl are no where to be seen, justice served I guess

Unless he's a puny specimen, it should be quite possible to restrain a woman without striking her.Just grab the lady's wrists when she goes in for the slap/punch and keep a hold while explaining calmly that you will release her when she calms down.

This maulvi has quite clearly never been involved in any real physical confrontations, hence his flappy flailing like a 6 year old girl.

Stopped From Making Reel Inside Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple, 2 Women Thrash Guards

Three women security guards were allegedly beaten up by two women and a few others after they stopped them from shooting videos in the prohibited area of Mahakaleshwar Temple in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain, police said on Sunday.

The incident occurred in the premises of the Mahakaleshwar Temple on Saturday, an official said.

Two women, identified as Palak and Pari, and a few other persons allegedly manhandled and thrashed three women guards after they were stopped from shooting video reels in the prohibited area on the temple premises, Mahakal police station in-charge Ajay Verma said. The guards, Shivani Pushpad, Sandhya Prajapati and Sangeeta Changesia, work for a private security firm, he said.

A case under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 294 (obscene acts in public) and 506 (criminal intimidation) has been registered against the accused, who are residents of Nagda town, the official said.
