New Delhi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6th April, 2019) India’s Taj Mahal echoed with slogans of Pakistan Zindabad on the event of the annual Urs of Emperor Shahjahan.

Indian media reported that the slogans were shouted when a green 'chadar' was being brought through the Royal Gate of the Taj Mahal by a group of devotees, mostly comprising young men and children.

When the chadar crossed the threshold of the gate, a youth came forward and shouted 'Pakistan Zindabad'.

He then turned back and disappeared in the crowd before anyone could understand what happened.

Security was searching for him in the nearby Tajganj area as well as the rest of Agra.

The video of a youth raising pro-Pakistan slogans went viral on social media.

In a few hours, security agencies scrambled to search for the youth identified in the video as the one shouting the slogan.

Agra police invoked sedition charges against him based on the written complaint filed by Archaeological Survey of India.

Several teams are working to arrest the youth.

Shouting slogans is sedition but actually ripping the country by evading taxes, being corrupt, polluting the land, indulging in crimes, looking down on your fellow countrymen and then standing for national anthem at a movie theatre makes you patriotic.

If anyone cared about their country they would first be honest themselves and it should start at the top from the PM himself. Talking is easy but doing something for your country no one gives two hoots about it.

This is a joke. Saying Pakistan Zindabad isn't a crime, even I will say Zindabad to Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, USA all countries. Wishing well shouldn't be sedition. All countries should prosper, only if others are happy can we be happy.

Calling one's country bad names in public is a more serious matter but IMO even that shouldn't be a crime. Poor taste but not a crime. Maybe listen to that person and try to change his mind, brute force never works.

India sure has misplaced priorities. Pakistan and people of Pakistan Zindabad, there I said it. Let me see if patriotic Indian PPers have a problem with that.

You should say this in public. Otherwise sounds like an attempt to look good behind the safety of anonymity.

Load of fuss over nothing. If it was a big protest you could understand patriots burning with rage, but this is just a few kids showing neighbourly love. Like when Pakistan crowds were chanting Balaji! Balaji! when the Indian fast bowler ran in to bowl in the last tour of Pakistan by the Indian team.

Already said it loud with many others when WC Abhinandan was released. But then I am from Chennai where Hindutva extremists have no reach. Sadly UP is run by a saffron goon.

So what is the point of saying this in chennai. :))

When you want to challenge them, you should confront them on their face. It is like I curse Modi in my room, but when I step out I stay silent as I don't want to incur the wrath of his fans. Don't get me wrong. You are still praiseworthy.
