Have a look a this ridiculous piece of fielding by Nicholas Pooran to stop a certain six. Incredible how he manages to throw the ball back without falling down. Unreal athleticism.

Best save I have seen in my life: Nicholas Pooran's sensational effort leaves Sachin Tendulkar in awe

IPL history and T20 cricket over the years have seen some brilliant fielding efforts from cricketers around the world. Relay catching was born out of the T20 cricket, superman dives and the resulting catches are also a by-product of this fast form of cricket but what Kings XI Punjab's Nicholas Pooran did on Sunday will be scripted separately in the history books of inhuman and outlandish efforts on the cricket field.

In the 8th over of Rajastha Royals' batting innings, Sanju Samson smashed one Murugan Ashwin delivery for a sure shot six but wait! Nicholas Pooran did something so extra-ordinary near the boundary line that even the 'God of Cricket' Sachin Tendulkar couldn't believe his eyes.

Nicholas Pooran made a full-stretched dive in while hanging in the air as he held onto the ball before throwing it back outside the bundary line to save his team a vital six runs. Pooran surely couldn't help Punjab send back a dangerous looking Sanju Samson but his effort sent fans, former crciketers and even film stars into frenzy.

"This is the best save I have seen in my life. Simply incredible!!," Sachin Tendulkar tweeted.

I preferred cricket when fielders would plant their size 12 foot down and hope they stopped the ball :)

Samson had a similar effort by the way

This is top stuff as well. Interestingly both Samson and Pooran are wicket keepers as well who are pretty solid in the field.

While this is great as well but Pooran went even further ...

That was a crazy save.

Saves like that make all the difference unless one of your bowlers decides to get hit for 5 sixes in an over towards the end.
