[VIDEOS] Afghanistan fans fight with Pakistan fans at World Cup 2019

I don't think I have ever seen any nation's fan behave like this (getting physical) in cricket. I have seen it in other sports. This is first for me in cricket.

Pakistan hosted more than 3 million Afghan refugees for more than 40 years.Almost 2 million Afghans are still living in working in Pakistan.I don't know any Pakistanis who have mistreated them.Pakistan taught them cricket as well yet these idiots are always acting against Pakistan.

Little scrawny rat should have been given a hiding. Our fans instead of making videos of it should have retaliated. I would have had my wife, mother been nearby and at risk of chairs. Absolutely gutless.
 
There's another video circulating online where the Afghani "fans" are having a punch up with people on the street. The same people are with their families nearby.

What an absolute farce this day has become.

3-4 million which is only UN data. There are many more who have been naturalized . Just few days back our Govt. extended their stay for 2 months there doing for 3 years now. Anyways more videos coming in even women fans were not spared. ICC security can be seen doing nothing.

I have been so many india vs Pakistan matches. I have never seen a fights broke up in the stadiums in the UK. This is v disturbing and sad event. Il be honest Afghan dont hold a v good reputation in the UK when it comes to bad behaviour and fights.

Indian and Pakistani fans are the best when it comes to behave in the stadium, outside i dont knw after the matches, but in stadiums we all have a laugh and joke and friendly banters.

Afghanistan fans thinks their team is Australia or something. They need to come back to earth.
 
Guys, this is all evidence and afghan culprits should be thrown in prison for their savagery. Clearly they are attacking families here and their faces can be seen. What more do you need? Pakpassion needs to take this to Twitter using their official handle and make a huge issue out of this. This isn't right- seems like the authorities are sleeping.

They should have made use of their numbers advantage and taught some of these hooligans a lesson.

Because attacking families or where families are sitting is real brave. They should go and try these on the streets in Manchester.
 
Pretty clear from all the videos the Afghan supporters are initiating the aggression, Pak fans are barely even retaliating. Most of them look surprised by the hostility, certainly the Afghans have come looking for a fight.

In future you can imagine Pakistan fans would be wary of taking families to these games.

Pakistan fans clearly had no intent to get involved in fights, most of them look surprised by the whole atmosphere. If they had prepared for a war like the Afghans did it would have been a disaster, probably the game would have been called off.

Seems like Pakistanis went with their families, not looking for fights.

These guys came in groups, all men, and were very violent.

This doesnt belong in cricket, really sad to see.

They came looking for fights, as I remember our games in UAE were fine. Pathetic behavior.

Seems like the pakistanis attacked were either old or with families.

These Afghanis seems like bachelors just going after a fight. Lucky for them they didn’t meet same kind of people from Pakistan.

My blood was boiling watching this.
 
Atleast from the videos its clear Afghans are looking for a fight, unless other videos come up.
There has been ‘youtube’ war going on for a while but that aggression has led to this when Afghans are thinking they are invincible.
 
The Afghan fans, team and officials have some serious maturing to do if they want to be a part of the cricketing fraternity. This is a family event with women and children and there is no place for this kind of behaviour. They probably have their women locked up at home.

I hate to generalise but Afghans don't have the best reputation in the UK and occurrences like this will only make it worse. In my local high street there are always groups of Afghan youth hanging outside the train station all day, proudly displaying the Afghan flag around their necks while selling drugs, harassing women and getting up to no good. There is also a real begging problem among Afghans. As a community they need to address these issues.

UAE laws are very strict.

Any behaviour like this, is straight deportation as everyone is on work visas and no one has nationality there.

Everyone behaves in the UAE.

Pakistanis are getting beat up ? You mean pensioners and a few cab drivers with their families by young Afghans. Pakistanis genuinely look surprised about how this even escalated; clearly weren't looking for trouble. Pakistanis in the UK would wipe the floor with Afghanis- but they have jobs and careers to protect unlike......

These videos fill me with a lot of sadness and anger. If I ever see an Afghani try to bully me in Islamabad or the UK I will teach them a lesson of a life time. Pakistani fans had to suffer with their families around them. They didn't know they will have to face such **** uncivil namak harams.

They have a ikky reputation in Toronto too , atleast on East side but again I know a few and they are good but yeah i know two who got jailed.

I think it would be very difficult to hold another Afghanistan/Pakistan game in the UK. After this, you can guarantee Pakistan fans would go ready for a fight as well, it would be ten times worse. There wouldn't be families there next time, Afghan yobbos would be met by Pakistan version.

Oh yeah. There was an infamous England-Pakistan ODI at Edgbaston in 1987 where a fan had their throat slashed and I think even a pig's head was thrown into the Pakistan end.

And the end of nearly every 2001 Natwest Series match involving Pakistan was bedlam.

Definitely - you'll see Afghans being smacked all around the stadium and streets there will be mass brawls everywhere- the ICC and the police are to blame. Pakistanis weren't even expecting any trouble - they sure will return the favour next time.

Don’t know what the situation is in UK, but here in Norway these idiots would have been schooled properly by pakistanis.

These videos keep getting more and more incriminating. And there were some apologist posters earlier accusing of the Pakistani fans of invading the pitch when it was clearly Afghanis.
 
I went to high school with many Afghans in Toronto. Let me tell you that Afghan students were one of the most violent and hated ones at my school. They were always fighting; very few were actually interested in education. One Afghan guy once tried to steal my MP3; I was like take it. I didn't want to deal with that kind of low class behavior.

Yes and tbh its sad to see, this is not how it should be, banter and bitterness aside modern day there should be no violence, but I expect security to ve high and i can clearly see Pakistanis waiting to retaliate.

Pakistanis should have smacked Afghans all around the park and outside of it - seeing as it was self defence, in all of the cases today. I am 100% confident next game everyone will come prepared.
 
Having seen a few videos now, I have to say the fighting is on par with schoolgirls scrapping.
 
What the hell is British cops doing? What do they get paid for? I am seriously curious. As someone from North America, I find British cops to be as effective as Mr. Bean.

It's one thing to react in the heat of the moment and retaliate. But I have to give credit to the Pakistani supporters for not fighting back. In a situation like this, you're better off being portrayed as a victim rather than the aggressor.

The bigger problem in this situation was the lack of security. They literally let the fans go at it in the stands. Especially when you have savages that aren't used to living in a civilized world you should have security close by. Kind of like when a wild animal is used in a circus there's always trainers and tranquilizers present.

Yea I played cricket against Afghans in Canada. There was a fight at every game literally in an organized hardball league.

Not getting into fights but instead of standing and taking videos they could have informed the authority or call 911 or something
 
I was there and saw a fight break out near me. Pakistanis didn't step in to help as most were with families in that area. Lots of people starting chanting pro-Pakistan slogans immediately as the first punch was thrown.

That's because Afghans were attacking middle aged family men type. I am yet to see younger people square off. Pakistanis (are hella ****** at this) and will turn up from all ends of the country next game and you'll see the results.

I was once practicing bowling in net. This Afghan guy came to me and asked me to leave. It was a public space. He threatened me that if I didn't leave he would tear me apart. I was about to call cops but that person's relative was a friend of mine and I didn't call cops.

Toronto is filled with violent Afghans. However, our cops are much tougher.

If Pakistan wasnt in contention for a semi spot, I would be cheering for Bangladesh as they have played so well in this tournament.

I don't want that. Yes security should be improved but I don't want Pakistanis to gather like tribal animals and pick on old afghanis. I believe we are better then this. No need to copy their behaviour and concentrate on better things.

No one is expecting Pakhtoons to stand up just because the actions of Afghans.

You seriously cannot blame UK security for afghani behavior. This have never happened before. Pakistan have played against them in UAE as well.
