My advice to the PAK cricket team would just train and keep training. Going out etc wont help them.
I've seen those videos, only a few which doesn't warrant pointing out Pakistan fans but you have clarified.
Would you agree 99% of the fans who have paid good money to attend games and have witnessed lazy, overwieght cricketers with little determination have shown their class and walked home without giving those senstiive cricketers abuse?
Why don't you post a picture of your perfectly chiseled six pack and let us judge you like you are justifying that pig's actions.
lol, i can understand why fans are reacting like this. Honestly, I think this team deserves that, for the performance it showed in ground. It's just the opposite of them getting love for good performance. With bodies like such and so unfit, these players should be lucky they are even playing cricket, because if it were any other country, they would have rested such lot.
Time to test young blood, as suggested by Nasser. Time to persist even if it costs us matches. We need young fearless cricketers, not the sponsored, promos, with half developed technique and lazy bodies
Wouldnt be surprised if they get hit by fans, as that's how the love and hate is among the fans. It may not be right, but get used to it. Thats the reality. Play good or face the music![]()
I don’t get paid millions to play a professional sport.
And when I was overweight, I had the discipline to lose thirty-five pounds in three months time.
This is actually harassment. Not just insulting.
No, not really.Being overweight nobody is contesting. You are justifying someone calling him a pig infront of his kid. Only shows your own upbringing, maybe before you lost your weight your family members also used to call you the same.
Captaining your national team at highest level and then you carry such poor fitness standards and then you lose key games and start yawning in the middle of game against your arch rivals, fans have every right to dish these players. Though language should have been better but this team especially our leader is really mediocre.
Also it's fault of PCB. How can they allow their captain to carry such big belly going into such a big tournament. His performances and on field show off have also been horrible. Sarfraz has not helped himself with the way he has carried himself ever since he became captain.
I mentioned 'fans' as in the fans abusing, not the whole fanbase (who we're all a part of).
I know plenty of fans who have been very classy, and I know a few who have been to the ground, have supported their team and will continue to do so regardless of the results.
Regardless of that, it doesn't mean that the ones running their mouths shouldn't be called out.
No, not really.
Every overweight person knows he or she is overweight but does not like to hear it.
His kid is two years old so he probably won’t even remember this episode. He has no fault but Sarfaraz should know that when a team loses and the emotions are high, it is advisable to keep your family as far as possible from the public.
It’s not that Sarfaraz is overweight but the fact that his fitness has declined ever since he was given responsibility.
If you cannot even commit to improving yourself, why should you garner any support when someone calls you out on it?

What a turnaround , I remember someone calling Inzy aloo and he went into the stands to confront the fan.
Now Pakistanis themselves are abusing their own players.
This is terrible especially when his poor kid has to listen to his father being abused.
Shameful behavior.
Every thing has a time and place. The same action could be welcoming or disgusting depending upon these two factors. If you have failed to grasp it, then I don't think you will be able to comprehend the different roles of life.
Kaise insaan ho yaar!! Do you realize that you are justifying harassment??
No regular human being deserves this but Sarfaraz is a public figure.
That comes with extraordinary adulation and criticism and he is well aware of this.
You justify big fat belly of Sarfraz the leader of Pakistan national team the only unfit player playing in this world cup?
His language was pathetic but at least this will tell PCB to check on their captain next time.
Well diagracefull and unacceptabel performance. I can understand The fans. These fans are paying for Them and their not sincere with their work just want to eat and chill around. 200 million watching these matches and their do not care.
Some of the people in here justifying his actions are utter morons, for a multitude of reasons.
1. Having a bit of a belly doesn't necessarily mean you are unfit. Has Sarfraz ever looked unfit whilst running in between the wickets? Nope, he's one of our best runners. Has he ever looked out of shape as a wicketkeeper in terms of covering ground or reflexes? Again nope. Your body fat level had
S nothing to do with your fitness. Look at the Andy Ruiz vs Joshua fight recently. Who was the one who looked shattered after a few rounds? Or look at footballers like Lampard (nicknamed Fat Lamps at his peak) or Luke Shaw, both have been criticized for their appearance yet at the same time were/are 2 of the fittest in their teams in terms of sprints and distance covered. To sum up, low body fat does nor necessarily mean you are fitter. A belly doesn't necessarily mean you are unfit.
2. The same guy led us to a Champion Trophy win only 2 years ago. With the same belly, with the same level of fitness.
3. Lastly, it's a bloody sport. A game. Don't give it more weight than it deserves. And definitely don't abuse a grown man with his child because of it.
no one deserves public abuse. we are not living in dark ages anymore. there should be consequences for poor fitness and attitude. It is up to their employer, PCB, to deal with it. We as fans should criticize their fitness and performance but in a way that is acceptable to the overall society.

They are doing this to Sarfaraz? He was the one who said Pak fans love cricket and they won't boo Steve Smith.![]()

I don’t agree that he should have done it with the kid present but Sarfaraz bears the responsibility for putting himself in that position.
No one deserves this for losing a game of cricket. Please try to understand this. He didnt kill anyone.
Maaaan
Stop it, you are making a fool outta yourself.
What the hell does it mean put himself in that position?????
You can sack him, kick him out of team, heck even ban him from playing cricket for his performance, but how can that guy abuse him in front of his 2-3 year old kid and then have the balls to post it online, only a piece of **** can do such things, and you here justifying that man's action are bringing disgrace not only to yourself but to your upbringing as well.

I dont think people understand.
We are not a professionally run organization. We are not a professionally run team.
Pakistan is a corrupt country. Do you think PCB is not?
Do you think the best players are actually playing for the team?
Pcb is riled with corruption. We have 60 year old execs who do absoulutly nothing.
Our domestic is corrupt and has a cocaine problem among players.
What do fans expect? What do pakistanis expect?
Same problem for over 20 years. Nothing has changed, nothing will change untill the people themselves dont change.
This is y i personally put no emotion into sports. Its entertainment. Not life.
Posts circulating on Social Media to identify the coward in the OP. He must be bricking it!
It's not that. I'm pretty sure if Sarfraz's kid wasn't there then he probably would've said something. That's what makes it worse. It's always amusing how people sometimes put qualifiers on abuse. Like if Saifi wasn't with his kid, would abusing him be somehow any less disgraceful?

I will be brutally honest here, and I know a lot of the mods/admins on here will not like it but this website has peddled such views for months and years on end. I have lost count on the number of threads about players bodies, weights, diets...many of them populated by opinions of those who run this site.
I am not saying you yourself are responsible for it but many on here are, I would not be surprised if this trolls views were permeated and morphed by social media and sites such as this. We can't be hypocritical about such things. Either stop such threads on here or applaud the man with the camera, you can't hold the higher ground otherwise.
You can bring in my upbringing as much as you want (not that it has the remotest connection with what I said anyways) but it doesn’t change my opinion.
Pakistani and sports fans are fickle in general. If the same Sarfaraz had won against India, there would be threads stating, “Is fitness even required in today’s game”? But since he lost, all the attention has gone towards an aspect that is a basic job requirement of his profession. Which he has been lacking and declining in since he became captain.
A cricket captain is not just another sportsman in Pakistan but an ambassador of the board and country. He will be subject to intense media provocation as would the other players.
Knowing that he would face abuse from all sides, he decides to take a child with him into the public spotlight. If you do so, be prepared to receive abuse. Whether one deserves it or not, you cannot control the circumstances if you put yourself in that position.
so you think India/BCCI ain't corrupt
It's not that. I'm pretty sure if Sarfraz's kid wasn't there then he probably would've said something. That's what makes it worse.
I don't think i can change your view so let's cut it short here.
You are clearly not understanding the magnitude of what that guy has done. I never wanted to say this and i hope it never ever happens with you, but just imagine you are chilling or shopping with your 2 year old kid in a mall and suddenly some random guy says stuff like this, believe me you are gonna break his jaws for that.
We should actually appreciate Sarfaraz for keeping his cool here.
That's it from me, thanks and hope you ponder abt this stuff and stop hating
