[VIDEOS] The Palestinian and Israeli conflict

Terrorists according to you.

I assume if Jews came to your house with superiour might, threw you & your family out because their God says its their house, you pack up & leave giving them a hug on the way out?

If he doesn’t then he is a terrorist going by his own logic

I didnt ask for your version of a history lesson.

I suggest you read Int law, its very clear East Jerusalem and the West Bank are occupied territories.

If you are ignorant of this basic piece of information a child knows, its best you dont comment.

It is hysterical how people refer to international law without even studying international law in the first.

Your post clearly exposes your ignorance regarding international law, and this what delusional people like you and that poster niazi do not understand.

International law is “law” only by name. The fundamental flaw in international law is that it is not enforceable.

There is no body and no authority that can enforce states, or other actors that are recognized to have statehood, to obey international law.

Hence, the concept of legality and illegality is useless when states do not face repercussions for violating international law.

The UN imposes sanctions but those sanctions are imposed at the behest of the powerful states, i.e. the permanent members of the UNSC, all of whom back Israel including Pakistan’s so-called best friend China.

When you wage a war against a vastly superior foe and lose territory, there is no point in crying about it international law.

Since there is no mechanism to enforce international law, its founding principle is based on good faith, i.e. the assumption that states will do what is morally and ethically right and will follow treaties, customs and judicial decisions.

However, in reality, no state in the world including Muslim states that are abusing Israel act in good faith. Every country serves its own interests without giving two hoots about good faith.

It is time for online jihadis and Palestinian activities so accept the reality - Palestinians have no legal basis and more importantly, there is no forum that will act in their interests from a legal perspective.

The Muslim countries including Pakistan do not have the guts to do something practical and confront Israel directly because they understand that the repercussions will be severe.

Facebook posts, changing profile pictures, ranting on social media and Internet forums etc. will not change the ground reality and strengthen the Palestinian cause.

Moreover, instead of signing useless petitions, UK Muslims should refuse to pay taxes to the UK government that has always been a huge sympathizer of Israel, not to mention the fact that the British Crown is directly responsible for the creation of Israel.

Useless petitions will not put any pressure on the UK government, but to have the second largest religious group (Muslims) refuse to pay taxes because of the Israel policy of UK will probably put them under pressure to change their policy, but do UK Muslims have the guts to do that?

Clearly not. They can only make noise on the internet and sign useless petitions. They will never do anything practical about anything because they are too worried about their own comfort and safety in their adopted homeland.

Holy Quran also says the same. So do not just blame the Torah.

Quran clearly tells Jews to walk into the holy land and take it and not to turn back.

IVe read some strange posts but this has to be up there.

First you claim they are breaking no law , now you claim they are breaking law but it wont be enforced because their friends are more powerful.

You could have simply wrote might is right.

Therefore If i come to your house, kick you out, your wife , your other family members. Im breaking the law but because im powerful the law cant do anything, you will accept it and go to live on the streets. You should have a little more self respect, which is what the Palestinians have.

Holy Quran also says the same. So do not just blame the Torah.

You'v already proven you know nothing of Islam in the Petra thread.

So lets have so more fun. Where does it say in the Quran Israel today should exist and the holy land belongs to the Jews?

But any resistance little or big or violent or non violent noise on the internet or petitions is acceptable rather than doing nothing or even siding with the transgressors like you are

Allah says in quran

FIGHT IN THE WAY OF ALLAH AGAINST THOSE WHO FIGHT AGAINST YOU, BUT BEGIN NOT HOSTILITIES. LO! ALLAH LOVETH NOT AGGRESSORS.

TO THOSE AGAINST WHOM WAR IS MADE, PERMISSION IS GIVEN (TO FIGHT), BECAUSE THEY ARE WRONGED;- AND VERILY, ALLAH IS MOST POWERFUL FOR THEIR AID.

Because Pakistan did not fight a country that was six times its population. The Indian Army was nowhere in Kashmir when the Pakistanis invaded in 1949. The only resistance they faced was the pathetic Dogra Army of the King of Kashmir.
Once the King signed the instrument of accession to India, the Indian army went in and Pakistan has not been able to capture 1 sq.cm of Kashmir since.
The Indian Army would have recaptured the whole of Kashmir if our 'great leader' PM Nehru did not rush off to the UN to internationalise the issue.

The Arabs and Palestinians got wiped out in 1948 and 1967 because they could'nt hold a gun straight.

It did actually, territory was captured during Kargil 1999.

Numerous strategic points, which the indian media hides.

A US envoy has arrived in Tel Aviv for de-escalation talks as tensions between Israel and Palestine continue.

Hady Amr will take part in talks with Israeli, Palestinian and UN officials in the hope of agreeing on a ceasefire.

Early on Saturday, Israel conducted air strikes in Gaza and Palestinian militants responded by firing rockets into Israel.

The clashes recorded over the past five days marks some of the worst violence in the region in years.

The conflict began on Monday and followed weeks of spiralling Israeli-Palestinian tension in East Jerusalem. The increased hostilities culminated in clashes at a holy site revered by both Muslims and Jews. Hamas - the militant Islamist group which rules Gaza - began firing rockets after warning Israel to withdraw from the site, triggering retaliatory air strikes.

At least 133 people have been killed in Gaza and eight have died in Israel since the fighting began.

Palestinian health ministry officials said an Israeli air strike early on Saturday killed at least seven Palestinians, including women and children, at a refugee camp west of Gaza City.

Militants in Gaza responded with rockets targeting the Israeli city of Beersheba.

On Friday, clashes spread to the West Bank, with at least 10 Palestinians killed and hundreds injured. Israeli forces used teargas, rubber bullets and live fire, as Palestinians threw petrol bombs.

Mr Amr's arrival comes ahead of a UN Security Council meeting on Sunday. The US embassy in Israel said the aim of his trip was to "reinforce the need to work toward a sustainable calm".

But appeals to Israeli and Palestinian leaders have so far failed to produce a ceasefire agreement.

Israel's air strikes on Hamas in Gaza has forced the Middle East onto President Joe Biden's agenda. The Biden administration has had to rapidly step up its game on the diplomatic front without a full team in place: there is not even a nominee yet for ambassador to Israel.

Mr Amr is a mid-level diplomat without the kind of rank held by special envoys in previous US administrations, the BBC's Barbara Plett Usher says.

On Thursday, Israel's military called up 7,000 army reservists and deployed troops and tanks near its border with Gaza. It said a ground offensive into Gaza was one option being considered but a decision had yet to be made.

An estimated 10,000 Palestinians have left their homes in Gaza since Monday because of the conflict, according to the United Nations.

Many within the upper echelons of Abu-Dhabi's political and religious streams have forged clear alliances between Israeli narratives dedicated to anti-Palestinian bigotry and anti-Hamas sentiments, reframing factors to serve Israel's cause at the expense of Palestinians. Dr Waseem Yousef, for example, a preacher known for his close ties with the de facto ruler of the Emirates, Mohammed Bin Zayed, accuses Hamas of "making Gaza a cemetery for innocents and children." He alludes to the irony of Hamas "firing rockets" yet "crying and shouting for Arabs" when Israeli retaliation comes back.

This deductive reasoning and the reframing of events establish the terror in Gaza as a direct result of "supporting Hamas" and the "disease of the Muslim brotherhood", taking Israeli violence right out of the picture. On the same ground is another Emirati influencer, Hassan Sajwani, cynically tweeting: "Why can't Palestinian protestors just vacate #AlAqsaMosque and simply go home."
Emirati influencer Hamad Alhosani similarly chose to reiterate the narratives set by @IsraelArabic's video, claiming protestors were, in fact, proxies for Hamas, stating: "May God Protect the Temple Mount from the tempering of terrorism."

As someone who had spent 3+ decades in the UAE, and half of it under Shaikh Zayeds reign, this is very sad. UAE used to be pro-Palestine but they have become the most pro-Israel nation in the world, even more than America

Sleepless in Israel, Indian nurses hang on for families

“I haven’t slept for the last four days,” says Mariya Joseph, 33, speaking to The Indian Express over the phone Friday evening from the Israeli city of Ashdod, 38 km from Gaza.

ON TUESDAY evening, K Santhosh, a farmer in Kerala’s Idukki district, heard the sound of an air raid siren from the other end of a video call with his wife who was in the Israeli city of Ashkelon. Seconds later, Santhosh watched in disbelief as his wife’s face disappeared from the screen, and was replaced by thick smoke.

Today, the echoes of that rocket attack from Gaza, which killed 32-year-old Soumya Santhosh, continue to reverberate in the homes of several nursing professionals from India, who are employed as caregivers for the elderly in Israel. With Israel conducting massive retaliatory air strikes and massing tanks along the Gaza border, they find themselves in the middle of an escalating conflict that threatens their lives — and livelihood.

“I haven’t slept for the last four days,” says Mariya Joseph, 33, speaking to The Indian Express over the phone Friday evening from the Israeli city of Ashdod, 38 km from Gaza.

“Yesterday night, rockets were raining in the region. Our buildings were shaking. We keep posting messages in our groups asking whether all were safe. We are trying to find comfort this way. A lot of caregivers from India, particularly from Kerala, are working in areas close to Gaza,’’ says Joseph.

She has been in Ashdod for the past two-and-a-half years, and is taking care of an 88-year-old woman who is bedridden. “We are getting street-specific alerts. But this is an old building, and it does not have an in-house bomb shelter. As a nurse, I can’t rush to the common shelter leaving my patient in the house,” says Joseph, who worked in Delhi for eight years before moving to Israel.

“I am flooded with calls from panic-stricken family members. We are hoping peace will prevail in a few days,” says Shinto Kuriakose, 33, who has been a caregiver in Israel for the past six years.

According to data available till 2019 with the Indian Embassy in Israel, there are about 14,000 Indian nationals in the country, including 13,200 employed as caregivers. What makes the job of a caregiver in Israel attractive for nurses in India is the easy migration process and attractive salary, say officials. Soumya was employed with an 80-year-old woman who was injured in the attack.

“We know that thousands from Kerala are working in Israel as caregivers and domestic helpers. There is a huge demand for Israel visas in Kerala. Israel is an ECNR (emigration clearance not required) country and anyone can recruit,” says Ajith Kolassery, recruitment manager at the Kerala government’s Department of Non-Resident Keralites Affairs (NORKA).

Listing the other perks, caregivers say applicants need not clear IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or OET (Occupational English Test) — they only need to attend a short-term course in Hebrew.

“In Kerala, nurses are not paid well. If we take a short break, we have to join again as a fresher or trainee. In such a situation, Israel offers a lifeline. We can earn a take-home salary of Rs 1 lakh-Rs 1.30 lakh a month if we are willing to work overtime,’’ says Dani Manual, 34, who hails from Mathilakam in Thrissur.

Manual has been a caregiver in the neighbourhood of Kiryat Malakhi, 16 km from Ashkelon city, for the past two-and-a-half years. She completed her course in nursing from Bhubaneswar in 2011 and worked in Odisha before moving to Kerala and later taking up a job in Israel.

“Normally, a nurse stays in Israel for about 10 years. Most of us have huge financial liabilities. We have to clear that burden and ensure savings for the future. It’s not just Indians, there are people from the Philippines and Sri Lanka, too. Our job is tough and we have long hours of duty. However, no one wants to return empty-handed,’’ says Sajeesh Lawrence, 37, who is from Nedumkandam in Idukki.

On Friday, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan tweeted that the “mortal remains of Ms Soumya Santhosh, who was killed in rocket attacks from Gaza, are being repatriated today from Israel to Kerala through Delhi. They will reach her native place tomorrow”.

“Soumya would have tried to save the life of the Israeli woman whom she was taking care of. That’s probably why she could not escape,” says Manual, the caregiver near Ashkelon.

“What can we do,” she asks. “All of us, the caregivers, have left our families back in Kerala as Israel does not usually give family visas for us. Now, my three children, twins aged seven and six, are calling me back. But I have to stay back to run the family.’’

You type a lot but say nothing.

The majority of employed people in the United Kingdom have their tax deducted from their salary. It’s a good system really because it ensures tax is collected. Through it we have the funding for many of the great benefits we have such as the NHS. Sure the self-employed can refuse to pay taxes but there are a severe financial penalties if they miss deadlines.

Stop pretending you know about things when you haven’t a clue. You offer some terrible choices for action, through your lack of knowledge. But how much are you doing for the cause? Are you refusing to pay taxes? Are you doing more than signing petitions?

You also haven’t responded to my posts yesterday about the history of Israel’s finances (money lending/usury). I guess you’re the type of poster who shouts and screams when it suits them.

The silence from some nations is very interesting.

The lack of action from some nations is also very interesting.

Some huffing and puffing but doing nothing.

Israel's military has confirmed that it fired missiles at a Gaza tower block housing the offices of news outlets Al Jazeera and the Associated Press.

Israel said in a statement on Twitter that the building had housed "military assets" belonging to Hamas, which had used the occupants as "human shields".

The building - which contained other offices and apartments as well - was evacuated before the strike after a warning from Israeli authorities.

A US envoy has arrived in Tel Aviv for de-escalation talks as unrest between Israel and the Palestinians continues.

Hady Amr will take part in talks with Israeli, Palestinian and UN officials and reinforce what US diplomats said was the need for a "sustainable calm".

An Israeli air strike on a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip killed 10 people on Saturday, while a Palestinian rocket killed a man in Israel.

This week's violence in Gaza and Israel is the worst since 2014.

On Saturday afternoon, an Israeli air strike destroyed a high-rise building housing media organisations, including The Associated Press and Al-Jazeera, plus a number of offices and apartments.

In a statement released shortly afterwards, the Israeli military said the building housed military assets belonging to Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that rules Gaza.

The Associated Press (AP) said it was hit roughly an hour after Israeli forces ordered people to evacuate.

The news organisation's CEO, Gary Pruitt, said: "This is an incredibly disturbing development. We narrowly avoided a terrible loss of life. A dozen AP journalists and freelancers were inside the building and thankfully we were able to evacuate them in time."

At least 139 people have been killed in Gaza and nine in Israel since the fighting began on Monday, and sirens were sounding again on Saturday afternoon in Tel Aviv and elsewhere in Israel.

Israel says dozens of militants are among the dead in Gaza, while Palestinian health officials say nearly half are women and children.

Saturday is the day when Palestinians commemorate what they call al-Nakba, the Catastrophe. It marks the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who were forced or driven from their homes in the Arab-Israeli war which began the day after Israel's declaration of independence in 1948.

The prospect for more trouble on Saturday is very real, BBC diplomatic correspondent Paul Adams says.

Al Jazeera condemns in the strongest terms the bombing and destruction of its offices by the Israeli military in Gaza and views this as a clear act to stop journalists from conducting their sacred duty to inform the world and report events on the ground.

Al Jazeera promises to pursue every available route to hold the Israeli government responsible for its actions.

Residents and occupants of al-Jalaa building, which housed Al Jazeera’s office along with leading international media outlets, such as The Associated Press and Middle East Eye, were informed by the Israeli army via a phone call that they had less than one hour to vacate the building.

Al Jazeera calls on all media and human right institutions to join forces in denouncing these ruthless bombings and to hold the government of Israel accountable for deliberately targeting journalists and media institutions.

Commenting on the bombing of al-Jalaa building, Dr Mostefa Souag, acting director general of Al Jazeera Media Network, said: “We call on the international community to condemn such barbaric actions and targeting of journalists and we demand an immediate international action to hold Israel accountable for its deliberate targeting of journalists and the media institutions.”

Dr Souag added: “The aim of this heinous crime is to silence the media and to hide the untold carnage and suffering of the people of Gaza.

“The destruction of Al Jazeera offices and that of other media organizations in al-Jalaa tower in Gaza is a blatant violation of human rights and is internationally considered a war crime. We call on all media and human rights institutions in denouncing this heinous crime, and to stand with Al Jazeera and other media organisations targeted by the Israeli army, despite knowing their use of the building as their headquarters for many years.”

The assault on the building hosting international media institutions aims to silence the truth by killing the messenger.

Journalism is not a crime.

A joke of a world we live in. It's a strong signal towards the end of times approaching.
Some of the most powerful countries are silent. I wonder how Israel even managed to get in such position that no one is even raising its voice regarding the issue.

Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip entered its sixth consecutive day, with air raids hitting a refugee camp where at least 10 Palestinians – eight children, two women – were killed and flattening a high-rise building housing the offices of media organisations, including Al Jazeera.

Meanwhile, Palestinians on Saturday gathered in parts of the occupied West Bank to protest against continued Israeli occupation and the ongoing bombardment of Gaza.

At least 140 Palestinians, including 39 children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Monday. Some 950 others have been wounded. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have killed at least 13 Palestinians.

At least nine people in Israel have also been killed, with one new death reported on Saturday in Ramat Gan. The Israeli army said hundreds of rockets have been fired from Gaza towards various locations in Israel and they have added reinforcements near the enclave’s eastern lands.

Thousands of Palestinian families are taking shelter in United Nations-run schools in northern Gaza to escape Israeli artillery fire. The UN has said it estimates approximately 10,000 Palestinians have left their homes in Gaza amid the Israeli offensive.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has received an “important” phone call from US President Joe Biden, Abbas’s spokesman said, the first call between the two leaders since Biden took office in January.

The conversation came amid heavy attacks on the Gaza Strip. Biden dispatched an envoy to the region on Friday to help work for calm.

There have been protests in Israel against the bombardment of Gaza and against Netanyahu - they are not covered by corporate media because they conflict with 'all Israelis united against Palestinian/Hamas terrorism' narratives.

lol @ coins. I replied, the direction has little meaning apart from unity, so all the assertions are baseless.

Islam has simple enough principles to understand. When the final prophet(pbuh) arrived everyone should follow him.

Even according to Judaism Jews cannot go back to the holy land until the temple is built and messiah arrives, Ive not seen him , perhaps you have.

This week's violence in Gaza and Israel is the worst since 2014.

US President Joe Biden made diplomatic phone calls to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday. The international community has urged both sides to end the escalation.

At least 139 people have been killed in Gaza and nine in Israel since this fighting began on Monday. Israel says dozens of militants are among the dead in Gaza, while Palestinian health officials say nearly half are women and children.

How did the fighting escalate on Saturday?

Thirteen people died in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, with 10 killed by an Israeli air strike at a refugee camp west of Gaza City, Palestinian health officials said.

A five-month-old baby is said to be the only survivor of that strike, found trapped in the rubble next to his dead mother. A number of people were also reported missing.

I have something called a life.

Back on topic.

Zionist terrorist entity is killing so many women & children, bombing media offices too.

I do not agree with any kind of violence. Personally I want every Palestinian kid the right to live with dignity with his or her family. But what do you think about Quran Pak telling Jews to take the holy land and not to chicken out and return as losers? Jews are only doing what Allah swt told them to do. What is your opinion?

Some evangelical Christians take this position too, saying that Jews need to return to Israel for the prophecy of Jesus returning. I know the Islamic position says Jesus will return in Damascus, but there are some Muslims who agree with the position you mentioned, perhaps they think Jewish rule of Israel is the precursor?

All a load of tosh, though. A shame that people are dying for an unfalsifiable delusion.

Quran doesnt. It tells them to follow the last Prophet(pbuh). This was at the time of Moses(pbuh).

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to "continue to respond forcefully" to rocket attacks as conflict with Palestinians in Gaza enters a seventh day.

Israeli air strikes in Gaza killed at least three Palestinians early on Sunday, health officials said.

Palestinian militants fired rockets towards Tel Aviv, causing people there to flee to bomb shelters.

The international community has called for an end to the escalating conflict.

"Unlike Hamas...": Israel PM Netanyahu Says Gaza Ops Will Continue

Benjamin Netanyahu said: "The party that bears the guilt for this confrontation is not us, it's those attacking us".

Jerusalem: Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, blaming Hamas for starting nearly a week of hostilities by firing rockets at Israel, said on Saturday Israel will continue to strike in Gaza as long as necessary and do its utmost to avoid civilian casualties.
"The party that bears the guilt for this confrontation is not us, it's those attacking us," Netanyahu said in a televised speech. "We are still in the midst of this operation, it is still not over and this operation will continue as long as necessary."

"Unlike Hamas, which deliberately intends to harm civilians while hiding behind civilians, we are doing everything, but everything, to avoid or limit as much as possible harming civilians and to directly strike terrorists instead."

Israel bombed the home of Hamas's chief in Gaza early on Sunday and the Islamist group fired rocket barrages at Tel Aviv as hostilities stretched into a seventh day with no sign of abating.

At least four Palestinians were killed in Israeli air strikes across the coastal enclave, health officials said, and many were injured as the sounds of heavy bombardment roared through the night

Israelis dashed for bomb shelters as sirens warning of incoming rocket fire blared in Tel Aviv and the southern city of Beersheba

Around 10 people were injured while running for shelters, medics said.

At least 149 have been killed in Gaza since the violence began on Monday, including 41 children, health officials said.

Israel has reported 10 dead, including two children.

Envoys from the United States, United Nations and Egypt were working to restore calm but have yet to show any signs of progress.

The U.N Security Council was due to meet later on Sunday to discuss the worst outbreak of Israeli-Palestinian violence in years.

Both Israel and Hamas have insisted they would continue their cross-border fire, a day after Israel destroyed a 12-storey building in Gaza City that had housed the U.S Associated Press and Qatar-based Al Jazeera media operations. The Israel military said the al-Jala building was a legitimate military target, containing Hamas military offices, and that it had given warnings to civilians to get out of the building before the attack.

The AP condemned the attack, and asked Israel to put forward evidence.

"We have had no indication Hamas was in the building or active in the building," the news organisation said in a statement.

You've clearly missed this earth shattering tweet that is sending the Israelis scurrying back to Tel Aviv as we type:

Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip entered its seventh consecutive day with air raids early on Sunday killing at least 23 Palestinians, wounding dozens more, and flattening at least two residential buildings.

The home of Gaza’s Hamas chief, Yehya al-Sinwar, was also targeted, according to the group’s media.

In Israel’s Tel Aviv, people dashed for bomb shelters as sirens warning of incoming rocket fire blared across the city.

More than 170 Palestinians, including at least 41 children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the past week. More than 1,000 others have been wounded. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have killed at least 13 Palestinians.

Israel has reported 10 dead, including two children.

The United Nations Security Council meets on Sunday to discuss the worst outbreak of violence in years in Palestine and Israel.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israel slammed the Gaza Strip with airstrikes, in a dramatic escalation that included bombing the home of a senior Hamas leader, killing a family of 10 in a refugee camp — most of them children — and pulverizing a high-rise that housed The Associated Press and other media.

The Hamas militant group continued a stream of rocket volleys into Israel, including a late-night barrage on Tel Aviv. One man was killed Saturday when a rocket hit his home in a suburb of the seaside metropolis.

With a U.S. envoy on the ground, calls increased for a cease-fire after five days of mayhem that have left at least 145 Palestinians dead in Gaza — including 41 children and 23 women — and eight dead on the Israeli side, all but one of them civilians, including a 5-year-old. President Joe Biden, who has called for a de-escalation but has backed Israel’s campaign, spoke separately by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Still, Israel stepped up its assault, vowing to shatter the capabilities of Gaza’s Hamas rulers. The week of deadly violence, set off by a Hamas rocket Monday, came after weeks of mounting tensions and heavy-handed Israeli measures in contested Jerusalem.

Early Sunday, Israeli warplanes struck several buildings and roads in a vital part of Gaza City. Photos circulated by residents and journalists showed the airstrikes created a crater that blocked one of the main roads leading to Shifa, the largest hospital in the strip.

The Health Ministry said the latest airstrikes left at least two dead and 25 wounded, including children and women. There has been no immediate comment from the Israeli military.

On Saturday, Israel bombed the home of Khalil al-Hayeh, a senior figure in Hamas’ political branch, saying the building served as part of the group’s “terrorist infrastructure.” There was no immediate report on al-Hayeh’s fate or on any casualties.

The bombing of al-Hayeh’s home showed Israel was expanding its campaign beyond just the group’s military commanders. Israel says it has killed dozens in Hamas’ military branch, though Hamas and the smaller group Islamic Jihad have only acknowledged 20 dead members.

Since the conflict began, Israel has leveled a number of Gaza City’s tallest office and residential buildings, alleging they house elements of the Hamas military infrastructure. On Saturday, it turned to the 12-story al-Jalaa Building, where the offices of the AP, the TV network Al-Jazeera and other media outlets are located, along with several floors of apartments.

“The campaign will continue as long as it is required,” Netanyahu said in a televised speech on Saturday evening. He alleged that Hamas military intelligence was operating inside the building. Israel routinely cites a Hamas presence as a reason for targeting certain locations in airstrikes, including residential buildings. The military also has accused the militant group of using journalists as human shields, but provided no evidence to back up the claims.

The AP has operated from the building for 15 years, including through three previous wars between Israel and Hamas, without being targeted directly. During those conflicts as well as the current one, the news agency’s cameras from its top floor office and roof terrace offered 24-hour live shots as militants’ rockets arched toward Israel and Israeli airstrikes hammered the city and its surroundings.

“We have had no indication Hamas was in the building or active in the building,” AP President and CEO Gary Pruitt said in a statement. “This is something we actively check to the best of our ability. We would never knowingly put our journalists at risk.”

In the afternoon, the military called the building’s owner and warned a strike would come within an hour. AP staffers and other occupants evacuated safely .

Soon after, three missiles hit the building and destroyed it, bringing it crashing down in a giant cloud of dust.

“The world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what happened today,” Pruitt said. “We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza.”

“This is an incredibly disturbing development. We narrowly avoided a terrible loss of life,” he said, adding that the AP was seeking information from the Israeli government and was engaged with the U.S. State Department to learn more.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken later spoke by phone with Pruitt, offering “his unwavering support for independent journalists and media organizations around the world and noted the indispensability of their reporting in conflict zones,” according to a statement.

Mostefa Souag, acting director-general of Al-Jazeera Media Network, called the strike a “war crime” aiming to “silence the media and to hide the untold carnage and suffering of the people of Gaza.”

Later in the day, White House press secretary Jen Psaki tweeted that the U.S. had “communicated directly to the Israelis that ensuring the safety and security of journalists and independent media is a paramount responsibility.”

In the early hours Saturday, another airstrike hit an apartment building in Gaza City’s densely populated Shati refugee camp, killing two women and eight children.

Mohammed Hadidi told reporters that his wife and her brother’s wife had gathered at the house with their children to celebrate the Eid al-Fitr holiday ending the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The only survivor was Hadidi’s 5-month-old son, Omar.

The blast left the children’s bedroom covered in rubble and smashed the salon. Amid the wreckage were children’s toys, a Monopoly board game and, sitting on the kitchen counter, unfinished plates of food from the holiday gathering.

“There was no warning ... You filmed people eating and then you bombed them?” a neighbor, Jamal Al-Naji, said, referring to Israel’s surveillance over the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In his call with Netanyahu, Biden expressed his “strong support” for Israel’s campaign but raised concern about civilian casualties and protection of journalists, the White House said.

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin tweeted Saturday that he had spoken again with Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and reaffirmed Israel’s right to defend itself and condemned “Hamas’ deliberate targeting of Israeli citizens.” Austin added: “I also expressed my hope that calm can be restored soon.”

The bombings took place a day after U.S. diplomat Hady Amr arrived in Israel as part of Washington’s efforts to de-escalate the conflict. Israel turned down an Egyptian proposal for a one-year truce that Hamas rulers had accepted, an Egyptian intelligence official said Friday on condition of anonymity to discuss the negotiations.

Mediators from Egypt, which works closely with Israel on security issues and shares a border with the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, appeared to be growing alarmed. The intelligence official said Egypt hopes the U.S. intervention could halt the Israeli assault. The U.N. Security Council was set to meet Sunday.

The tensions began in east Jerusalem earlier this month, when Palestinians protested attempts by settlers to forcibly evict a number of Palestinian families from their homes and Israeli police measures at Al-Aqsa Mosque, a frequent flashpoint located on a mount in the Old City revered by Muslims and Jews.

Hamas fired rockets toward Jerusalem late Monday, triggering the Israeli assault on Gaza. Since then, Hamas has fired more than 2,000 rockets, though most have either fallen short or been intercepted by anti-missile defenses. Israel’s warplanes and artillery have struck hundreds of targets around blockaded Gaza, where some 2 million Palestinians live.

The turmoil has also spilled over elsewhere, fueling protests in the occupied West Bank and stoking violence within Israel between its Jewish and Arab citizens, with clashes and vigilante attacks on people and property.

Palestinians on Saturday marked the Day of al-Nakba, or “the Catastrophe,” commemorating the estimated 700,000 people who were expelled from or fled their homes in what was now Israel during the 1948 war surrounding its creation. Thousands of Arab Israelis marched in a Nakba rally in the northern Israeli city of Sukhnin, and scattered protests took place in the West Bank.

Palestinian health officials reported the deaths of two Palestinians by Israeli fire in the West Bank on Saturday. One of the shootings occurred when the army said it thwarted an alleged car ramming.

Israel Gaza conflict: Air strike targets Hamas leader

The Israeli military says it has bombed the home of the political leader of the Palestinian militant group Hamas in a wave of air strikes on the Gaza Strip.

It released video of an exploding bomb which it said had hit the home of Yahya Sinwar, the group's overall leader in the territory.

Israeli air strikes in Gaza killed at least 33 people early on Sunday, officials there said.

Militants fired rockets at Israel, with a new barrage on Sunday afternoon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to "continue to respond forcefully" to rocket attacks. Israel has recorded nearly 3,000 rocket launches since Monday.

A UN Security Council meeting is set to take place later on Sunday and the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation is holding virtual emergency talks.

US President Joe Biden phoned Mr Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to express concern about the situation on Saturday.

Since the fighting began on Monday at least 181 people have been killed in Gaza, including 52 children and 31 women, with 1,225 injured, according to the Hamas-controlled health ministry. Israel says dozens of militants are among the dead.

Ten people, including two children, have been killed by militant attacks on Israel, Israeli officials say.

The flare-up of violence over the last six days came after weeks of increasing Israeli-Palestinian tension in East Jerusalem, which culminated in clashes at a holy site revered by both Muslims and Jews. Hamas - the Palestinian militant group that runs Gaza - began firing rockets after warning Israel to withdraw from the site, triggering retaliatory air strikes.

Israel-Gaza conflict: At least 33 killed in Israeli airstrike as Israel's PM vows to push on 'forcefully' with offensive

At least 33 people have been killed by an Israeli airstrike, Gaza's health ministry has said, in the deadliest single attack since the start of heavy fighting between Israel and Gaza's militant Hamas rulers nearly a week ago.

Rescuers raced to pull survivors and bodies from the rubble of three flattened buildings after the attack in Gaza City, which also left 50 wounded.

Gaza health officials said 12 women and eight children were among those killed, bringing the number who have died in Gaza since last Monday to 181, including 52 children.

On the Israeli side, there have been at least 10 deaths, including two children.

Medical group MSF said that one of its clinics was among the sites damaged by overnight Israeli aerial bombardment.

As hostilities stretched into a seventh day, rockets were fired into Israel and both Israel and Hamas, the Islamist group that runs the enclave, insisted they would continue their cross-border fire despite UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres reminding all sides that "indiscriminate targeting of civilian and media structures violates international law".

A session of the UN Security Council to discuss the situation is under way with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres telling members that the hostilities in Israel and Gaza were "utterly appalling" and the fighting must stop immediately.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the deadly bombing of the Gaza Strip would continue despite an international outcry and efforts to broker a ceasefire.

In a televised address on Sunday, Netanyahu said the Israeli air raids were continuing at “full-force” and would “take time”, adding that his country “wants to levy a heavy price” from Gaza’s Hamas rulers.

Israeli air raids on Gaza City flattened three buildings and killed at least 42 people early on Sunday, health authorities in Gaza said.

The violence marked the worst fighting since the devastating 2014 war in Gaza.

The air raids hit a busy downtown street of residential buildings and storefronts over the course of five minutes just after midnight, destroying two adjacent buildings and one about 50 metres down the road.

At one point, a rescuer shouted, “Can you hear me?” into a hole in the rubble. “Are you OK?” Minutes later, first responders pulled a survivor out and carried him off on an orange stretcher.

The Gaza Health Ministry said 16 women and 10 children were among those killed, with more than 50 people wounded, and rescue efforts were still under way.

Earlier, the Israeli military said it destroyed the home of Gaza’s top Hamas leader, Yahiyeh Sinwar, in a separate raid in the southern town of Khan Younis.

It was the third such attack in the last two days on the homes of senior Hamas leaders, who have gone underground.

Israel appears to have stepped up air raids in recent days to inflict as much damage as possible on Hamas as international mediators work to end the fighting.

I have a question. What is Zionism? As long as I know it means that there should be a separate country for Jews if that is what it is, how is it any different from the formation of Pakistan which was supposed to be a country for Muslims?

Zionism isnt just that Its a aparthied concept where the superiority of jews supercedes any other race or religion, as we are seeing with palestinians who are treated as 2nd class citizens segregated, abused and treated appalingly day to day

Its different from the creation of pakistan as those inhabitants are from the indian subcontinent many from thr region

Israels majority jews are citizens from europe usa etc shipped into colonise palestinian land Its not theirs to live in

Pakistan despite being a muslim majority country and a lsnd for muslims was created under the concept with equal rights for all its inhabitants. Israel doesnt believe this concept It enshrined to treat people differently depending on their race and religion

Where does it say that it is a Jewish supremacy concept? I have read about it. Most of the Jews in the European countries were from Palestine originally too. Israel is a different beast though. It is an apartheid state but you can't fault Jews if they wanted a separate state back in the day when the anti-semitism was on its rise in those countries. Let's not talk about equally rights of minorities in Pakistan, last thing I read about Pakistan law was that a non-Muslim could not become head of state and *cough* Ahmadis *cough*

I have the proofs with coins and you had nothing to say there.

Anyways, if you do not know Sura Al Maidah5:21, it means you never read Quran.

Here is Allah SWT commandment to Jews.

O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has destined for you, and do not turn back, lest you should turn losers.”
— Mufti Taqi Usmani
O my people, enter the Holy Land (Literally: the hallowed land) which Allah has prescribed for you and do not turn back in your traces, (Literally: on your hind parts) (and) so you turn over as losers."
— Dr. Ghali
My people, go into the holy land which God has ordained for you––do not turn back or you will be the losers.’

Typical cherry picking of a single verse out of context to fit your agenda. Did you get this as a talking point from one of your Pro Israeli Hinduvta Propaganda WhatsApp group to push on this situation?

Did you bother to read the verses preceeding and proceeding the quoted verse? look up verses 19-26 for a better understanding. The chapter deals with a a few subjects amongst them Allah forewarns the believers to stay on the righteous path and not to disobey the Almighty and become transgressors. If they do, their fate will be like the nations of the past i-e Bani Israel. The verse you have cherry picked is Allah recalling what was told to Moosa (A.S).

Here are the complete set of verses dealing with a part of the Parable of Bani Israel (Majority is is Chatper 2 Bakarah)

19 -O People of the Book! Our Messenger has indeed come to you, making things clear to you after an interval between the messengers so you do not say, “There has never come to us a deliverer of good news or a warner.” Now there has come to you a deliverer of good news and a warner. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.
20- And ˹remember˺ when Moses said to his people, “O my people! Remember Allah’s favours upon you when He raised prophets from among you, made you sovereign,1 and gave you what He had never given anyone in the world.
21- O my people! Enter the Holy Land which Allah has destined for you ˹to enter˺. And do not turn back or else you will become losers.”
22- They replied, “O Moses! There is an enormously powerful people there, so we will never ˹be able to˺ enter it until they leave. If they do, then we will enter!”
23- wo God-fearing men—who had been blessed by Allah—said, “Surprise them through the gate. If you do, you will certainly prevail. Put your trust in Allah if you are ˹truly˺ believers.”
24- ˹Yet˺ they said, “O Moses! ˹Still˺ we will never enter as long as they remain there. So go—both you and your Lord—and fight; we are staying right here!”
25- Moses pleaded, “My Lord! I have no control over anyone except myself and my brother. So set us apart from the rebellious people.”
26- Allah replied, “Then this land is forbidden to them for forty years, during which they will wander through the land. So do not grieve for the rebellious people.”
So Allah actually punished them for disobeying his commandments and banished them to wander in the desert for 40 years.

So next time please stay in your lane and do not lecture us about our book or religion.
You are more than welcome to tell us about Geeta or Mahabharata or any other Hindu scriptures you hold dear. Do tell us about how Ravan abducted Seeta and then Ram went after them. How Ram nein Lanka dhaii with his army of monkeys led by Hanuman.

You cant fault them for a state Maybe the europeans shouldve given them a part of germany after they nearly killed them all off there as reparations

If your an indian and support them maybe you should give them a part of india to reside there if you feel so much for them

Israel's military operation against Palestinian Hamas militants in Gaza will continue "with full force", Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said.

"We are acting now, for as long as necessary, to restore calm... It will take time," Mr Netanyahu warned.

Gaza officials said 42 people, including 16 women and 10 children, died in the latest Israeli air strikes.

Ten people, including two children, have been killed in rocket attacks on Israel since Monday, Israel said.

The overall death toll in Gaza now stands at 188 people, including 55 children and 33 women, with 1,230 injured, according to the Hamas-controlled health ministry. Israel says dozens of militants are among the dead.

Israel's military says it has been targeting leaders and infrastructure linked to Hamas.

Hamas launched a new barrage of rockets towards southern Israel on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the UN Security Council is holding an emergency meeting, with international mediators hoping to broker a ceasefire.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres opened the meeting by describing the violence as "utterly appalling" and said the fighting must stop immediately.

The Israeli air strikes - the deadliest attack in the conflict so far - hit a busy street just after midnight on Sunday.

Palestinian rescue workers have been working through the rubble of at least three destroyed buildings, pulling out bodies and searching for survivors.

There have been protests in Israel against the bombardment of Gaza and against Netanyahu - they are not covered by corporate media because they conflict with 'all Israelis united against Palestinian/Hamas terrorism' narratives.

I hope it's true cause I'm not against Jews but what Israel has been doing to Palestininans and those who simply want to kill off any Muslims in the land whether Palestine or Israel.
I haven't read much about Hamas so I can't give an opinion on them.

Palestinian officials in Gaza say Sunday was the deadliest day since the current fighting with Israel began.

Forty-two people were killed in Israeli air strikes on the territory on Sunday.

Israel's army say Palestinian militants have fired more than 3,000 rockets at Israel over the past week.

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has warned that further fighting could plunge the region into an "uncontainable crisis".

He pleaded for an immediate end to the "utterly appalling" violence.

Early on Monday, Israeli warplanes launched 80 air strikes on several areas of Gaza City, shortly after Hamas militants fired a barrage of rockets at southern Israel.

The UN has also warned of fuel shortages in Gaza which could lead to hospitals and other facilities losing power.

Lynn Hastings, UN deputy special co-ordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, told the BBC that she had appealed to Israeli authorities to allow the UN to bring in fuel and supplies but was told it was not safe.

Gaza officials said 42 people, including 16 women and 10 children, died in Sunday's Israeli air strikes.

Ten people, including two children, have been killed in rocket attacks on Israel since the fighting began last Monday, Israel said.

The overall death toll in Gaza now stands at 197 people, including 58 children and 34 women, with 1,230 injured, according to the Hamas-controlled health ministry. Israel says dozens of militants are among the dead.

Israel launches new strikes on Gaza as calls for ceasefire grow

Israel conducted dozens of air strikes on the Gaza Strip on Monday, after Palestinian militants fired barrages of rockets at southern Israeli cities.

The pre-dawn raids on Gaza were some of the heaviest seen since the fighting began a week ago.

Israel said it hit facilities belonging to the militant group Hamas and several commanders' homes, but main roads and power lines were also damaged.

Meanwhile, international calls for a ceasefire continue to mount.

The UN Security Council held an emergency meeting on Sunday, and Secretary-General António Guterres warned that further fighting had "the potential to unleash an uncontainable security and humanitarian crisis".

He pleaded for an immediate end to the "utterly appalling" violence.

But there were no signs of that happening as the conflict entered its second week.

It began after weeks of spiralling Israeli-Palestinian tension in occupied East Jerusalem that culminated in clashes at a holy site revered by both Muslims and Jews. Hamas, which controls Gaza, began firing rockets after warning Israel to withdraw from the site, triggering retaliatory air strikes.

The Israeli military said more than 50 warplanes conducted a 20-minute attack on the Gaza Strip shortly before dawn on Monday.

They struck 35 "terror targets" and destroyed more than 15km (9.3 miles) of an underground tunnel network belonging to Hamas, it added.

The military also said it had hit the homes of nine "high-ranking" Hamas commanders.
There were no immediate reports of casualties, but Palestinian officials in Gaza said the strikes had caused widespread power cuts and damaged hundreds of homes and other buildings.

"There have never been strikes of this magnitude," one resident told the AFP news agency. Mad Abed Rabbo, 39, said he had felt "horror and fear" during the strikes.

The overall death toll in Gaza now stands at 197 people, including 58 children and 34 women, with 1,230 injured, according to the Hamas-run health ministry. Israel says dozens of militants are among the dead.

Almighty Allah granted the Jews two chances, but they would cause such mayhem that Allah will have no choice but to send a force from the muslims who will end the Jews evil doing, the saviour will be known as IMAM MEHDI

In my humble and probably ignorant opinion, those Jews and these Zionists have nothing in common.

I mean these Zionists who created israel were literally funding Hitler in WWII

Anyways, here is a video for uncles living in LalaLand

Egypt's President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi said on Monday that his country was "going to great lengths to reach a ceasefire... and hope still exists".

But there were no signs of that happening as the conflict entered its second week.

It began after weeks of rising Israeli-Palestinian tension in occupied East Jerusalem that culminated in clashes at a holy site revered by both Muslims and Jews. Hamas, which controls Gaza, began firing rockets after warning Israel to withdraw from the site, triggering retaliatory air strikes.

I've heard this before. When is this going to happen?

There's a guy called Mehdi Hasan in the UK. I think he works with Al Jazeera now. But Qatar is also leaning towards Israel of late.

#BREAKING: Biden Administration approves $735 million weapons sale to Israel.

Power Up: Biden administration approves $735 million weapons sale to Israel, raising red flags for some House Democrats

FIRST IN POWER UP: The Biden administration has approved the sale of $735 million in precision-guided weapons to Israel, raising red flags for some House Democrats who are part of the shifting debate over the U.S. government’s support for the Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Congress was officially notified of the proposed sale on May 5, three people based on Capitol Hill familiar with the notification told my colleague Karoun Demirjian and me.

That was nearly a week before Hamas, the terrorism-designated organization that controls the Gaza strip began intense rocket attacks against Israel that have reportedly killed at least 10 Israelis. The rockets have been answered with ongoing Israeli airstrikes that have left nearly 200 Palestinians dead and sparked worldwide calls for diplomatic action. The crisis is the worst since a 2014 Hamas-Israeli war that lasted nearly two months.
While calling for an immediate cease-fire, the administration has said that Israel has the right to defend itself against Hamas — a position that a majority in Congress has previously supported. But a new generation of House Democrats more open to questioning Washington’s support of Netanyahu is raising some concerns. Some lawmakers want to know more about the new proposed sale, and its timing, suggesting it be used as leverage.

“In the past week, the Israeli military's strikes have killed many civilians and destroyed the building that housed the Associated Press, an American company reporting on the facts in Gaza,” a Democratic lawmaker on the House Foreign Affairs Committee told us. “Allowing this proposed sale of smart bombs to go through without putting pressure on Israel to agree to a cease-fire will only enable further carnage.”

The administration is required to inform Congress of such sales, although official notification generally comes only after Congress has informally agreed. Once the formal notification is made, lawmakers have 20 days to object with a nonbinding resolution of disapproval.

The bulk of the proposed sale is of Joint Direct Attack Munitions, or JDAMS, kits that transform so-called “dumb” bombs into precision-guided missiles.
Israel, which has purchased substantial quantities of JDAMS in the past, has said the Gaza airstrikes are precision guided to avoid hitting civilians, but charged that Hamas uses civilians in the heavily populated enclave as human shields.
Former President Donald Trump vetoed three resolutions passed by Congress in 2019 to stop arms sales benefiting Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates after the House and Senate voted to block the arms deals worth more than $8 billion.
A spokesperson for the House Foreign Affairs Committee confirmed that Congress was notified on May 5 of the commercial deal in which Boeing will provide the weapons to Israel. But some Foreign Affairs lawmakers were caught off guard over the weekend when they first learned of the sale, according to a source with knowledge of the private conversations.

“We're lucky to catch this weapons sale,” a Democratic aide who works on the committee told Power Up. “There's zero transparency on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and sensitive deals are regularly approved without scrutiny,” the aide added of the committee chaired by Rep. Gregory W. Meeks (D-N.Y.).
“There's truth to the notion that there's major shifts in the party about how we rubber stamp Israel writ large,” a Democratic Senate aide told Power Up. The aide added it's unlikely debate over the sale will ultimately result in a resolution of disapproval from Congress.

Hamas has intentionally engineered this tragedy for its own people in the sure knowledge of what would follow. No country in the world would fail to respond to 3000 rocket attacks, and more continuing daily, on its civilian population. Hamas had wider purposes. One was certainly to re-establish itself as the leading force in Palestinian politics by being the most *violently anti-Israel faction.

So, I would suggest the OIC and especially leaders in Muslim Ummah to talk to Hamas and stop firing rockets for the sake of Palestinian children.

The only ones defending Israel here are some Hindu Indians.

One extremist has even spoken bout 3000 rockets being sent to Israel but failed to mention why this all started in the first place??

Hindu Extremists and Zionist Racists. Which is worse? Or are they as bad as each other?

Islam radicals and terroristic are more dangerous than above.

That was not my question.
Unless what you're intimating is that Hindu/Indian extremism extenuates terrorism in a country like Pakistan and similarly Israel does the same with Palestine and other Arab countries?

But the question remains, which is worse?

Please don’t repeat this falsehood.

A few German Jews were allowed to leave for Palestine if almost all their possessions were confiscated by the Nazi state.

Merkel: End fighting as soon as possible

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called for an end to the violence as soon as possible while speaking with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, she expressed Germany's "solidarity" with Israel in the conflict.

"The chancellor again sharply condemned the continued rocket attacks from Gaza on Israel and assured the prime minister of the German government's solidarity," her spokesman, Steffen Seibert, said. "She reaffirmed Israel's right to defend itself against the attacks."

The statement added that given the civilian casualties on both sides, Merkel "expressed her hope that the fighting will end as soon as possible".

US asks Israel for 'justification' for strike on media building

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Monday the US had requested "details" and a "justification" from Israel for an air strike on a Gaza building housing international media outlets.

Blinken added that he had not personally seen any information shared by Israeli authorities, and therefore did not want to comment on the legitimacy of the strike.

"Israel has a special responsibility to protect civilians in the course of its self-defence, and that most certainly includes journalists," Blinken told a Copenhagen press conference.

The fighting entered a second week on Monday as Israel bombed targets in Gaza and Palestinian fighters fired rocket barrages at Israeli cities.

Gaza health officials put the Palestinian death toll since the hostilities flared at 198, including 58 children and 34 women. Ten people have been killed in Israel, including two children, Israeli authorities say.

Blinken urged all parties in the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians to protect civilians and said the United States is working intensively to an end to the violence.

"We have been working around the clock through diplomatic channels to try to bring an end to the conflict," he said.

"The United States remains greatly concerned by the escalating violence. Hundreds of people killed or injured, including children being pulled from the rubble," he said.

"We are ready to lend support if the parties (...) seek a ceasefire," Blinken said.

Pakistan is a paper tiger with all its nuclear arsenals. Turkey and Pakistan should do something more than just mere words otherwise they are as good as other Arab countries it is just that Arab countries are not two-faced and simply state their clear position on the issue. I mean, come one.....going to the UN and asking for an OIC meeting....the end result is zero.
