Indian team needs to take a long look at their middle order. Pujara and Rahane are not up to the task. Especially Rahane who has not played a single noteworthy knock in a long time. Also Pant needs to stop playing tests. Saha should be brought back. Pant might be good option in familiar asian conditions when you need quick runs down the order to pad a lead but not here

Agreed that Pant needs to be kicked out of Test team. But Saha is not the answer. He is even worse than Pant when it comes to batting.

I am inclined to play KL Rahul as keeper batsman in Tests too. He seems to have found his mojo back and has been performing like a champ in the past 3 or 4 months.

If not KL Rahul, India needs to try Ishan Kishan or some other keeper batsman. Saha is not the answer. Pant kept wickets well. It’s his gutless batting that is the problem.
